@@freezeYT- Right click the video and select "Loop". He's done a couple of these, so I figured out how to do it pretty quick. I like to let them loop at least once just to appreciate how smooth the loop is.
I think the fixes are so so creative, the bosses still look so unnerving without the gore, and I think this is definitely a case where restriction inspires creativity. Skeletron and WOF are so fucking cool. Someone needs to make a texture pack for these.
The Chinese moon lord design is pretty good, definitely fitting for a lord. The WOF design is probably my favorite since it would make more sense for it to be made out of some hellish stone with lava flowing through it instead of flesh to fit with the theme of the place where it resides
@@twitchgemini5819 plus a few of them are objectively better sprites, but have stayed simply because they're old sprites and have nostalgic value, the most primary example being the EOC
@@trex9600 not as catchy of a name though, also the concept of a wall of flesh is much more interesting, other than that, all the sprites do look more revamped

i have a idea for their death animations, eye of cthulhu: on death, he starts shaking and explode into stardust because of the galaxy eye, brain of cthulhu: same for eoc but the stardust is crimson dust king slime will explode to plenty of slimes and the explosion does great knockback skeletron will go to the dungeon, and sacrifice himself to make a unlimited amount of skeletons spawn there
What? I thought it looked like this: the Eye was some sort of Green Clam, the Brain was a Jellyfish, and Skeletron was Groot! SO THEY CHANGED THE CHINESE TEXTURES?! Rest in peace Clam Of Cthulu!

Yeah I assume most of the designs were changed when a different team started working on the chinese port. I’m pretty sure there’s an old chippy video about it somewhere
Now it's making me think we need a mod that changes the look of the bosses to that of the China version because those designs look so amazing I would definitely have a bigger insensitive to fight them.

Fun fact: Moon lord with many 100 players is literally the hardest fight ever. Why? Well there’s 3 reasons, it’s hard to see projectiles, the more players the more health moon lord has, and lastly, the moon lord can take players health so that means that he’s leaching off 100 players.
Honestly I really like these designs, the crystalline look of the eyes and moon lord look really cool. A couple look smoother and less sprite-y too, although that could just be image resolution or maybe it's just me.
The artwork is still done with skill and love so why can't you still enjoy it? Plus (not me) but some Western players aren't keen on the gore so the fact there's an option is just nice overall

Speaking personally, I really enjoy Terraria. I like how it gives me something relaxed to focus on- and if all I can focus on, is a connection to this _evil regime that needs to be destroyed down to the last mook,_ I'm gonna have a bad time. @@Hirotoro4692 It’s not that there’s an additional option - if you play in China, this is the only version you get, was my understanding. That’s censorship. If it was just an additional option I wouldn’t care.
Damn a lot of them actually look better than the normal versions! I personally think we could straight up replace the brain of Cthulhu's sprite with the china one and it would be an improvement
