Most timeless Honda of all time. I hope people keep sleeping on these.

Usually people who had these hondas were sleeping on what I owned during the late 90s - A 1993 NISSAN NX2000. I used to kill honda and integras..(really good battles though, lost some/won a lot to be honest) and I barely did any modifications. Had the NEOvvl on board though kept it stock and still would bust down civics and integras... I loved those days.. I say all this and YET my first car was a 93 Integra 4 door. That car was like the batmobile to me. I had it running on rails..

Some fun facts about this car. -H23 transmission from a 92-96 Prelude is a great upgrade. -1998 Acura CL rotor-over-hub upgrade makes changing front rotors much easier. -Prelude front suspension is a direct bolt-on. -92-96 short-shifters fit -H22 VTEC Prelude engine fits right in. -92-96 Prelude OEM wheels are a good upgrade and look like they came from the factory.

@Andres Maurer You must be new to planet Earth. Cars looks are the definition of subjective. People like what they like. And not everyone is looking for every car they own to be fast. Plus, you must be so poor you can't afford multiple cars. Must suck.

I have a 1990 cb7 LX and a lot of parts from bigger body Hondas of the same vintage are direct bolt ons. I did a 5 lug, 4 wheel disk, big brake, rear sway bar upgrade all with parts from the junk yard for $200. The parts I used from the junk yard were the rear spindle, sway bar, subframe, brake calipers from a 1995 Acura Vigor. 2000 accord v6 rear hubs, brake disks 2002 Acura TL-S front knuckles, hubs, strut rod, brake rotors, hubs. 1993 Acura Legend GS dual piston brake calipers. With some drop zone springs (used on eBay for $100) and wheels off a 2004 Acura TSX(I bought off FB market place for $200) it brought the ride, braking, and handling into the 21st century for a grand total of $500.

"I feel like it's more important to retain the experience that the car gives you rather than just trying to make everything fast." I love this quote from the Accord's owner. Today's cars offer impressive levels of performance along with overwhelming amounts of technology, but they will never be able to provide the same vibe and feel that older cars do. This has long been why certain people are drawn to vintage automobiles, with each era having its own unique appeal.

Aged like fine wine tbh. My favorite generation of Accord. 1990s Japanese sedans are amazing. The 3rd Generation 1989-1994 Nissan Maxima, The 1990-1993 Honda Accord CB7, 1990s Subaru Legacy, 1991-1995 Mitsubishi Diamante, 1990s Toyota Camry, Avalon, Cressida. All Great cars.

This guy knows what’s up. Thanks for having him on! I do miss having an older car that I have to keep up. No longer have the time to do so, but that was where I learned the most and felt the most proud of what I made. I was reminiscing about always having tools, coolant, oil, everywhere I went. I never got stranded but that’s because I kept the car up well. As life moved on I had less time for them and needed something newer to concentrate the experience on what I enjoyed most (driving). Now I just hop into the car and go...the journey has become in some ways less “exciting”, but the people I share the journey with are probably appreciative of that. There’s a time and place for everything and I am sure I will find myself in the future back under an old car, wrenching with friends, and doing rallys

Way back in the day my buddy had a 1993 Accord Coupe with a 5-speed manual which he let me drive all the time. This car can be best described as "the whole being greater than the sum of its parts". There was no single aspect of this car that stood out as being vastly superior to its competitors, however everything worked together in concert so well. The driving experience was so special, something almost impossible to quantify but if you drive one you will understand.

My first automatic car was a burgundy 93 Accord EX. The drivers seat was incredibly comfortable and had its own armrest on the right side that folded up and down. I was 20 and it was 1999, bought it with 60k miles and felt like an absolute BALLER lol. I drove it across the country four times, solo. Sold it with 250k miles and only did front axles, brakes, tires and changed fluids at owners manual recommended intervals. People are entitled to their opinions, but it’s a scientific fact that these cars were fucking incredible!

I have a 1991 Accord LX wagon, and I love it. IMO it strikes the perfect balance between practicality and drivability. Lots of room for cargo, surprisingly quick off the line, handles really well, and gets about 28mpg on the highway if you take it easy. It's a grandma car for sure, but it will surprise you if you drop it in to second and whip around some curvy back roads.

The best of the Hondas during the pre 2K era i had a 1991 Honda Accord EX 4 dr, sedan just like the one they showed in the commercial in the beg. of the vid. mines was Black semi metallic w/clear coat and had the dual color interior black on leather dash on ivory cloth seats and head board, moon/sunroof (tinted), tinted factory windows all around, Bose sound system w/auto antanea, power windows, power door locks, power gas and trunk release, the thing i loved the most was it was equipped with automatic seatbelts, w/emergency release buttons, fog lights and the bright Halogen bulb lights with the real glass cover, cruise control, theft auto system, heated seats and mirrors also power mirrors, maintenance indicator, Engine 2.2L SOHC VTEC. Programmed fuel injected w/twin intercooler fans, 4 sp. auto. turbomatic transmission with lock up torque converter equipped with Sports mode, dual exhaust w/dual chrome tips, power assisted steering, power electronic front disc brakes, sitting on 205/60/15" all aluminum wheels, factory mud flaps w/Honda logo on them, front and rear body spoiler, double wish bone suspension, rack and pinion steering w/Mcpherson struts all around i brought it back in 1996, i smoked the windows 5% on it all around, then i put the real whole fender body chrome all around as well, i switched out the factory radio and dropped in a Kenwood receiver cd player then had the carpet box of 12" JBLs powered by a Rockford Fosgate punch 45 series amp. mated to 300 watt Pioneer equalizer Man this car was very fast 0-60 in 6.5 sec. that was very quick back then, i kepted the car for about 9 years, i dont know what i was thinking about by just letting it go downhill just because i brought a 1993 Pontiac Grandprix SE 2 coupe. Pearl white w/clearcoat and a red stripe body molding across the center of the car and it had the factory honeycomb cross hatch tinted rear brake light functional covers. but the Honda was Amazing and i just stop driving it and it went downhill the heads blew i fixed it then the engine went and i sold it like a crazed man, and now everytime i see one like it i just slumber.

I remember watching those commercials when they were new as a kid. Lol The Accord is what got me into Hondas. 1986 with the pop-up headlights. My first car I modified was a 1996 Accord. Got into 4th Gen Preludes and 3rd-5th Gen Accords. Cool thing is the Prelude and Accords share a lot of parts. Im.pwrtial to the 92-93 updated version of the CB7. These Accords actually handle extremely well. Very easy to upgrade the suspension. Good video.

I, (18 female), recently got my first car. This car. a 1990 Honda Accord LX Automatic. Bought it from a lovely gentleman down the road who was selling it for $750. and I cannot express enough the immediate attraction I had to it, seeing it on the side of the road there looking rather pretty despite its sunken hood and a nice dent next to the driver's side door. It's in Incredible working order for the 170k miles on it and has only had problems starting on cold mornings, (or when I forget to flip the kill switch off). 10/10 would recommend to Anyone looking for a Reliable and wonderful first car.

In the early 90's, this was the car to have. From about 90-93, these were everywhere, even the wagon was hot. There are plenty still running around with 200-300k on them. They will rust into the ground before they stop running. A solid running EX, over 200k, one owner? You can still pay over $3k for one. The owner will not flinch. One of the best cars of all time.

I've owned one since 2007, agreed on all points. This thing is like a space ship, especially compared to everything everyone else was putting out at the time. The ergonomics are just amazing, everything comes to hand perfectly and all the switches feel so positive. The materials and design are just excellent, and the engineering that went into the suspension and the engine is just superb. The f22 is so quiet and so refined, it's a gem. Not sure what's up with his but mine is like silk from idle to redline. I wish he had an EX, the EX models offered a rear sway bar, 92/93 had ABS and rear disks, air bag, 140hp/147tq, shorter transmission gearing, retuned shocks, softer interior fabrics, adjustable lumbar, etc. My ONLY complaint with this car is the road noise, but that's every Honda pre 2014..

Always loved it when every time I popped the hood I saw the “PGMFI” placard stamped on the fuel rail. So bad ass. Along with also admiring it’s sharp and perfectly symmetrical square body shape. The space practicality and visibility from the drivers side. And can we talk about the hood and it’s perfectly sharp contoured lines? Perfection. It was so much fun and just so easy silky smooth to drive anywhere. Always just felt so connected to the car and the road at all times. Drove it hard everyday but yet at the same time I did so with great care. I took pride in pampering my Laurel and doing all maintenance, work, and detailing myself on a regular schedule. And all I can say is “baby blue” never let me down through out any kind of weather from any season. I’d made countless memories and had incredibly fun moments with my CB7. So when he said “it’s tugging on my heartstring..it’s like real love.. you can feel it” yes sounds cheesy and it is lol but that statement hits really hard and I understood it completely. It’s simply something you won’t feel.. not until you get behind the wheel in one of these. The CB7 chassis and the feeling it gives its driver truly makes it a one of a kind Honda legend. It just always provides unlimited Smiles for Miles!

Absolutely love the straight lines on this car. Damn it looks so good with those wheels. It would be a perfect daily driver if it didn't feel so unsafe with giant SUVs and trucks barreling everywhere around you.

Facts, driving a much smaller vehicle around bigger ones can be really frightening sometimes.

The design is simple and clean, wish newer Honda’s still retained some of this design language.

I loved my 1990 Lx accord 4 door! Bought it with 200k and totally it with 280k. Dropped on nice sleeve over coils with KYB AGX shocks. Engalls chamber kit. It rode so nice and handled so nice! Slow car but it was so amazing to drive. Amazing quality Japanese engineering.

I had a 1991 accord se sedan with 360k miles on it when I got rid of it. Ran like a top. Then I got a black 93 ex coupe 5 speed and I really loved that car. Cb7 will always be my favorite accord. My favorite Honda model of all time is the bb2 prelude though. With the crazy looking dash.
