Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks triumphed over the Phoenix Suns. It was a great success story for him, but on the other hand...it was a tragedy for Chris Paul and the Suns. This might've been his last chance at a title. Hope you enjoy the video!

Most viewers are casual fans that go by whatever ESPN and Fox tells them. ESPN spent most of it's air time covering pre-training camp NFL non-news over the NBA finals. I've heard more about the Dallas Cowboys than either The Bucks or The Suns the past 2 weeks. This is a huge problem for the current NBA. When the narrative that everyone keeps hearing is that only Lebron & Co matter and the NFL takes media attention all year long, it's impossible for the rest of the league to draw viewers even if the quality of play is good and there are charismatic players involved.

I actually rooted for both teams at first. But then between Suns blatant fouls that doesn’t get called and Booker and CP3 characters vs Giannis’, I ended up finding the villain on this matchup and ultimately rooting for the Bucks.

The suns certainly overachieved. First playoff appearance in a decade but they reached the finals. Sure, injuries played a part but better, experienced teams than them have fallen apart from the pressure of playoff basketball (*cough jazz). But they powered through it like they have been doing it for years. It would have been a nice story- a team who missed the playoffs by inches comes back to win a ring on the very next season. But if they had won, it would have been a big asterisk because they would have done so when giannis' knee didn't magically heal. I like the bucks' story even more. 2 years of disappointment, check, they faced the ecf champion who embarassed them and avenged themselves by sweeping them at full strength. They didn't wilt under the pressure of the nets and took care of the hawks without giannis.

I agree, it's the first time I've been so divided in who I wanted to see win. Was leaving towards the suns, but giannis and mlwk also made me cheer when they did good plays. So many mixed feelings when they won, was really happy for giannis etc, but CP3 losing also made me kinda sad. I agree that this was probably his best shot at a championship given everything that happened this year

Ima tell y’all something that you’ve probably heard a thousand times but if you haven’t seen it you wouldn’t be able to understand, but Giannis WORK ETHIC/ DRIVE/HUNGER was something i’ve never seen like I was just blown away how he had sooooo much energy on Offense and Defense. Paul needs to lower his demands and stay there for another 2-3 years. Book, DA and Mikal are gonna continue to progress, so there is a chance to win the West again during that span. Not only CP getting older, LeBron and Steph either.

I really don’t get why the losing team in the finals gets a press conference the same day they lost. Obviously if you ask them anything about if they’re mad they’ll say yeah, and they aren’t gonna go at each other’s heads on live tv. I think if the players (cp3 esp) lower their demands, trade off a few bench guys and maybe a role player or two and bring in some guys that can help alot against guys like giannis and around the perimeter they may have a big shot next year Bucks got mad confidence now so next year won’t be handed to anybody which is good for the nba

Well, nobody can predict the future... It's hard for us to believe that CP3 can get another chance this close to win the ring, but still the NBA is so unpredictable and anything can happen. I prefer to look at this NBA Championship as what it is, a big and well deserved reward to an amazing player like Giannis Antetokounmpo who has been working hard on his playstile for years and now he's got what he's been fighting for. And IMHO, is very nice to see that both League and Finals MVPs are from Europe, just saying... ;)

@@conceitedfication you could say that but at the end of the day, the Bucks beat the Nets in a 7-game series. The injuries were unfortunate but it is part of the game and it shouldn't fully discredit a team's win. The best ability is availability. Coming into Game 7 of that series, most people picked the Nets to win the game despite missing Kyrie and Harden not at 100%. They saw that the Bucks would choke under pressure and that the greatness of KD would be too much for them to handle, yet when they beat them, very little credit was still given to them and now they used the injuries excuse yet couldn't be bothered to acknowledge it heading into game 7.

You will get a NBA Team in Seattle. The foundation is already there as you already have a NHL team coming to Seattle. The soonest expansion can occur is 2025, but some teams that are losing attendance and revenue will use Seattle as leverage for a new stadium. For instance, the Pelicans lease runs out in 2024....Now this doesn't mean you may get Zion Williamson in Seattle, but anything could happen

9:05 you got the numbers wrong, Game 2 had 9.38 M, then Game 3 had 9.02 M, Game 4 had 10.25 M, Game 5 had 9.55 M, and Game 6 had 12.52 M My guess is that you had Preliminary numbers and not the Final numbers of viewership for Game 2-6
