The Las Vegas Raiders came away with a lot of solid selections in the 2024 NFL Draft.
TE Brock Bowers has expectations put on him of being a superstar while rookie guard Jackson Powers-Johnson figures to be a stalwart along the offensive line for years to come. Combine that with a couple day three selections in Decamerion Richardson, Dylan Laube and Tommy Eichenberg that could all push for starting spots and you have a case for why the Raiders 2024 Draft Class could be it's best in franchise history.

Go back to the 81-82 draft class. This one is a good draft but those were the best

I listen to Locked on Raiders podcast, and one caller, a supposed fan, said unequivocally "We will only win 5 games, Brock Bowers was a TERRIBLE pick" and I'm like WHAT??? We finally did not reach for a 4th round talent in the 1st round, got a guy who was supposed to be a top 10 pick AND was not only the best TE in college EVER, but the best football player in the draft PERIOD. Why so many idiots are making like we had a mediocre to poor draft, I don't understand. We got a lot of award winning players who fell well past their projected draft spots, and that's a win any day.

This Raider rookie class has several outstanding special team players, they will have an impact on the Special teams, while they develop their positional skills. With the the new kick-off rules, it could be a large contribution during the season.

There's also an argument that those players, Bowers aside, were available to the Raiders for a good reason. After Round 2, the highest NFL draft grade of any of them belonged to Devonshire. It feels like they're a mix of good players who aren't great athletes and good athletes who aren't great players.
