Defining Dobbs by his worst performance is completely biased and a pretty pathetic take, you can literally do that with any QB including Brock. Dobbs is a good backup and a solid QB
I love how Larry is quick to dismiss Dobbs over one game, doesn’t get concerned when Brock throws 4 picks, and yet, Mordecai, who is yet to play a single snap in the NFL, is better than Dobbs. smh
I respect Larry despite disagreeing with a lot of his takes but being a scout and having double standards for players have nothing to do with each other.
Tanner mordecai, is an awesome steal!! The best player, sf, drafted was pearsall, I'm thinking mordecai, is very close. He's a quick processor, decisive, fast twitch, speedy, shifty, accurate, strong. Unbelievable he went undrafted.
Considering he lit up the scoreboard at SMU, and was given a raw deal at OU, broke his hand at Wisconsin I think he maybe one of those players who was just overlooked. I saw him when he played in high school, and he was phenomenal.
Having a cannon arm is so overwhelmingly overrated. It's about the ability to read and process and perform. Ala Joe Montana! Joe Montana didn't necessarily have a canon arm but he had a strong enough arm.amd that all you need..You can have a canon arm all you like but if you cant read and process and perform your cannon arm don't mean shit
I really like the 49ers forth round picks, but I would not have passed on Johnny Newton DT for Pearsall WR . However, I understand why Shanahan took the path he did. He improved the offensive line and gave Purdy three more weapons to work with, to the chagrin of the rest of the NFL. Once these new players gel with the rest of the team and adjust to the speed of the NFL, there will be no stopping the offense. Pearsall and Cowing are going to give NFL defenses nightmares. And then there is Guerendo. Although I did not approve of Shanahan's picks at first glance, I know see the reasoning behind them, which is why I give Shanahan an A for the first four rounds. He now has the makings of an offensive juggernaut.

Really when was that? Dobbs has 3 wins 11 losses in his career. One of them was a 3-0 win over the Raiders that got him benched with the Vikings. I like the guy but I'm not seeing a bunch of wins.
