Is "RU-vid 18+" such a bad idea? What was once RU-vid Kids or whatever has now become the mainstream aspect of RU-vid with the new, young, and tech-savvy generation. If PornHub and similar places can find advertisers and pay their creators, why can't RU-vid do the same? Find mature companies that would happily advertise next to drug-related videos, sexually-illicit content in nature (those clickbait stories by the TittyTubers), and other mature videos that are being affected. Even if it's not a whole other branch of the website, give us creators the ability to categorize a video as such and have the advertisers gain the ability to work with only these channels. For example, my videos are centered around the devil's lettuce. I don't get ads at all and don't care, but what if a rolling paper company wanted their ads on it, along with other similar videos/channels? It would be perfect for both parties.
@mestari8502
@mestari8502 6 лет назад
I would agree with you, but I don't think that would benefit RU-vid as a company. Remember RU-vid is owned by Google, one of the largest and most reputable companies in the world. While PornHub is very obviously created for sexual and adult content, Google is trying to be seen in a good light. Especially considering Google is a very left-leaning company, its hard to imagine they would ever be okay with an "18+ RU-vid". It is a good idea, and in my opinion, one that would work for the website, but Google would never do it because it would hurt their reputation, and more reputation equals more money.
@tj9813
@tj9813 6 лет назад
Erick Khan in a perfect world that would be a great fix. Just honestly, I wish RU-vid in general was an 18+ website. I wish mature content was the norm, and not seen in the light which it is, currently.

+Ethan Ruehl This is a sincere question that I hope someone can answer. What is the purpose of a multinational company holding any sort political affiliation. Isn't there more money to be made by being friendly to content creators across the political spectrum? Essentially my question is what would be the downside of being apolitical as a company and not favor leftist creators over right wing creators?

"Won't someone please think of the the children" is the oldest trick in the book to justify censorship. I'm genuinely shocked that it still works somewhat in 2017 in the USA.
@OnionKnightRises
@OnionKnightRises 6 лет назад
Because having an adult part of your website, specifically on the sexual side, is not something people will see in a positive light, and you absolutely know that won't stop kids from going to it when they're already accessing one part of your website. It's just not a good idea, the solution to people being too sensitive is not to be the absolute opposite

Being a child who grew up on the internet, I think google has answered far more of my questions then my parents ever could.. Sure, I've clicked on some shit here and there I probably shouldn't have been clicking on, but all in all I think the internet has been an incredibly beneficial outlet for me when I felt like I couldn't talk or ask people about my issues. It's really just how you choose to use the internet in my opinion.. If I weren't exposed to certain things back then, I don't think I would be the same person, nor would I have a backbone for that matter xD You can't protect us forever

IMO it is not as cut and dry as that, kids videos are short because there attention span is short, short song and colorful videos. So they move from one video to the next very quickly. Not that you should just dump your child in front of a device but it would be hard for them not to run into some inappropriate things.

Omg Lily I don't know what type of content you make, but I've seen many Yters simultaneously broadcast on Twitch, as they give better notifications. You could also reach a new audience there. I've noticed recently too, that when I click the bell on my fav channels, it says "you will receive "occasional" notifications"... That's new, for sure. Really sneaky & doesn't help content creators, either. I click the bell because I want ALL notifs! Also, a lot of creators rely heavily on other social media platforms, like Twitter, IG, etc. I know it can be tiresome, but that's another way. I hope this helps & good luck with your channel! :) anh nghe Reported, stop posting por.n sp.am

I'd be more inclined to think RU-vid actually cared about inappropriate content if they removed those baby freak videos while they were on trending. Nope. Not until they're losing money do they suddenly put their foot down. I'm glad they were taken down, but they had to know those videos existed and just seemingly ignored them until it hit them where it hurts: their wallet.

To say that writing an article that dissects a neo-nazi is somehow 'sympathizing' with them overlooks an important fact: we have hundreds of thousands of people who actively analyze, decode, research and write/talk about murders and serial killers in our justice system. That doesn't make these people killers or sympathizers of killers, it means that it's their job to show you where these people go wrong, how they go wrong and what the signs are. It's vital to our survival and safety to know these things so we can actively defend ourselves or avoid the people altogether.

The NYT piece is pure propaganda, they want to spin the narrative that Nazis are everywhere and could even be living next door to you, disguised as a normal person, but the reality is nazis and white supremacists make up a tiny portion of the overall population, maybe 100k, furthermore, nobody takes them seriously, they have no institutional power and they are generally reviled by the populous at large. It's all about creating the boogey man that the NYT needs and the give away is this line from the apology/explanation "...to describe the degree to which hate and extremism have become far more normal in American life then many of us want to think." Do you care to back that claim up with anything other than some ridiculous anecdotal story NYT?

I don't want to poke too much into the Hitler reference, and please correct me if I am wrong, but Hitler's claim to power was similar to a series of unfortunate, or fortunate for Hitler, of events. Germany's economy and society was extremely damaged after WW1. They owed money to both the British, French, and the US. They were completely blamed for starting the war through the Treaty of Versailles. Germany, along with many other countries were openly anti-Semitic, even the US. I am not defending their actions but imagine being in post WW1 Germany. You are blamed and heavily punished for a war were many of your ppl died and here comes a dude saying he can fix the country. They had a democratic government that was failing to get them out of the slump so to them democracy wasn't a magical cure for peace and prosperity. They probably didn't know they were supporting such an oppressive government. Hitler only started enforcing Marshall law, revoking individual rights, and targeting Jews after Kristallnacht. What Hitler did to persecute, torture, and kill millions of innocent souls should never be replicated and those thoughts are of the mind of those extremely corrupted, but Hitler gained support of the desperate people of Germany during that time. They were pretty much treated like trash after WW1 and they clung onto hope in a evil demented form. History is never 100% one way or another. Something my professor says is that you will always see people quoting from history except historians because there are so many sides of one story.

Alex Marsh I'm just speaking in a strict sense that's only pertaining to accurate terminology. Unless someone, in today's world, was sitting in a German beer hall on military leave, discussing all the Jewish people they personally escorted to their deaths on the European front, the term "Nazi" isn't applicable

Maybe rather than demonetize videos, RU-vid should hold the money like they do when there is a copyright claim. Then if proven to not be following guidelines they could give the channel a warning or if they're innocent, pay them the money the earned.

It's great that RU-vid is cracking down on exploitative videos, particularly ones aimed at children. It's frustrating however as a creator who follows the RU-vid guidelines very closely, to continually be punished for other people's actions. It's like working in an office and suddenly your wage gets cut by 50% because they found Dave in accounting is a pervert.

I make pet and fish care/educational videos. While most of my audience are adults, I make sure that my videos can be shown to everyone including small children. I do not swear and my comments have a swearing filter so anything possibly inappropriate will be held for review. I keep everything PG because I am one of those content creators that does live paycheck to paycheck (besides the extra part time jobs I take on to make ends meet)... I want companies to feel confident in advertising alongside my content but *there is no system in place rewards content creators* like myself for striving to make family friendly content. Then again I do not want other channels to purposely censor themselves for the sake of trying to earn ad revenue if that is not what the core theme of the channel is (within reason ofcourse..). Its times like these where I am glad that my aduience can help me in other ways, like on Patreon.

As a 15yr old(who doesn’t look older than 15) With many RU-vid channels (none bigger than 100 subs) I can attest to the fact that there are many pedophiles watching and commenting on RU-vid videos. I have gotten comments to take my shirt, pants, or socks off in videos. I have gotten emails telling me to take my shirt off and put it on video. I asked the man why and he said that he could get me more subscribers if I just took my shirt off and sent it to him. I then blocked him but it is still horrifying to see this happen and I am glad I am smart enough not to go any further. Fuck pedophiles.

I think Phil is absolutely right on the Nazi question. We have to talk about them (white nationalist, and every other extremists, from the far right and from the far left) because they ARE in our societies, whether we want it or not. From there, we have to treat them with ''respect'', talk with them and explain to them why we think they are wrong on subjects like immigration, healthcare policies, and so on and so on. Putting them aside from the society won't help them change their mind (or at least make them understand our point of view). Thanks for reading.

With the RU-vid thing: Why can’t RU-vid rate their videos similar to movies (pg, pg-13, R,etc)? Then have it when you upload your video it will submit the video to see what it’s rating will be and see if it advertisement friendly Then once that whole thing is done let the creator know if they can have advertisement on it or not and let the creator release the video for fans to see. Kind of like a practice test before the actual test You’ll see what will happen to your video before you lose out on possible money.
@danteebonyivory6051

Why can't RU-vid rate their videos? Because they're buttfucking lazy. Like Valve, they want the userbase to do their work for them for free and/or robots if necessary. Why else would we have the infamous DMCA copyright claim algorithm that's dodgy as shit and doesn't know the context? Why else would there be a report user function? Google don't care until it affects their income. It's a fucking solid idea dude, but the fact of the matter is, they don't care.

The rating system will have the same problem . Super high volume of content necessitates algorithms. If the algorithm is the problem your suggestion fails.
@Isaiah_McIntosh
@Isaiah_McIntosh 6 лет назад
Cal Brady why don't movies have a public rating for movies. Individuals could mis-rate videos crippling content that is fine or a creator could rate on multiple accounts to get negative content through. Also how many votes contrary or in support of your rating determines the validity of a rating on a video. Cultural differences could also kick in I would imagine in your system that religious, lectures on controversial issues and many other things would be flagged. Also people could use their rating as protest to big media corps and or to original RU-vid creators whether seriously or just as a troll crippling the ad system and shutting down RU-vid.

Super worried about my channel now... I do music tutorials for all ages... recently I uploaded a "How to play Silent Night on Tin Whistle" and it instantly got demonetised, there was NOTHING controversial about it whatsoever... while this did have a happy ending and the review process worked, I'm more concerned with having my channel getting shut down for no reason :/ Thanks for keeping us informed! Just want to add too that in my description I had a link to my minds account and I think that's what did it... I tested it with another video with the same link and that one got automatically demonetised as well... as soon as I stopped putting links to minds.com in the description the demonetising stopped.

Hollyweeds I think there is a fine line between someone researching deeper into the German Nazi party and Hitler and someone who can be made to sound like a sympathizer. They do it to Jordan Peterson all the time. I think this guy from the NYT article is on that line and has his toes over it on some things but is not an actual fucking Nazi no more than Muhammad Ali was because he believed the races should be separate. There are a lot of confused people looking for a home right now. The only swell in sentiment we have seen around the entire world, not just the US, is nationalism. That is not necessarily a scary thing and there are a lot of reasons for it. In the process the spastic far-left will drain all meaning from "Nazi" as they always do, and our shitty media will not even come close to better crafting an understanding of what is actually occuring. The afterglow of WW2 is wearing off. New lines are being drawn. Military advances are making for a smaller world and a world more regional and fractured. Leaders are seeking out new allies. People are yearning for identity. Most people want it to be along nationality lines while others want it to be any number of things that further divide us. And the 6 million Jews thing is crazy because that number only gets attributed to a Nazi hunter who pulled it out of his ass during an interview. His Jewish colleagues called him on it privately and we're worried that he was being dishonest and what damage that might do. But I guess they had nothing to worry about because you cannot even touch that narrative. www.jta.org/2017/01/31/news-opinion/united-states/remember-the-11-million-why-an-inflated-victims-tally-irks-holocaust-historians

I personally did not think that the New York Times Nazi article was normalizing hate. The message of the story (imo) wasn’t "look at this nazi, he’s just a normal person like you and me." I thought the message was "look at this normal person, he’s a nazi. Not some crazy tattooed freak or some crazy KKK member. A seemingly normal person who is also a nazi. They may be a small group, but they take many forms." I felt the article was designed to show that there is a hate problem in the USA. People can be Nazis without being our own warped perception of one. After seeing claims it was normalizing Nazis, I felt that you could only get that out of the article if that is what you were looking for. Other than reader bias, the article did not sway people to sympathize with a Nazi, it was just explaining that other types of people are Nazis. That’s just my opinion though. Edit: I messed up and put a double negative. Changed it.

Hey Mr. DeFranco! Long time viewer and subscriber here. I don't comment often on your videos but this NYTimes article is extremely enlightening as I do think that you're right in saying that it wasn't a place of "normalizing" a Neo-Nazi but rather showing the rest of the world that the people that we paint as "monsters" are just normal folks that have a viewpoint we deem evil. I agree with you in that the article demonstrates this well, showing that this man just lives a normal life outside of his morally corrupt beliefs. These people are in plain sight, thats where coercion for younger folks begin...they see the normality of it and buy into it. Agreed. The issue I take with the basic drift of this article is it comes off as fear-mongering. It's one thing to "let someone hang themselves with their own words". It's another entirely to lead with the headline "The Hate Next Door" (or whatever it was specifically), and behaving like this racism/Nazism is the new norm or something amongst white people in our country, but you just can't see it! BEWARE!
@FredrickTesla

Andriele Silva You'd be right, if it were a common thing. It's not a common thing though. The southern poverty law center (they track hate groups) has said that white supremacists only account for 0.008% of the population, and nazis are a subset of that tiny number. To say "it could be your neighbor or brother" is misleading cause the reality is it's more like taking about 10000 people, putting them in a room and saying " it could be one of your neighbors or brothers, just one though, the rest of you are fine."

I recently monetized my channel and RU-vid has a vetting period of 24-48 hours from the time you apply to when they allow it. Maybe they should use that time (maybe even extend it a bit) to actually check whether or not that channel should have ads? I feel like that could have helped prevent some of this.

You both make a really fair point, the reason I think it could still work to an extent is the fact that you can't monetize right away. You need to become a RU-vid partner first, which means you need at least 10,000 views. So it would take some time for those people to gain traction. But if they're good at gaming the system then maybe it wouldn't be as difficult for them to get those views... IDK.

On the Nazi-Normalizing story (it may be too late to post but): This is really a tough one. I understand the desire to paint the picture of casual hatred in America. I'm a young Jewish person and several times in my life I have been subjected to anti-Semitism. Once I was uninvited to a classmates birthday party because her parents were afraid "the greedy Jew would steal presents from the party" and as an adult I've been told to not have children so I don't pass on my "Jew nose" to any children in addition to being called a "christ killer." Intense and ridiculous, I think that's where the NTY dropped the ball. Hatred often is based in ignorance and fear and I think the article failed to address or confront Hovater's irrational way of thinking. Because at the end of the day I was banned from a birthday party as a 7 year old, and Hovater is hateful towards people he doesn't know. As a writer or editor, I would've remedied this by interviewing and describing every person he passed or interacted with at the store using some of his own words. Maybe the cashier has interracial kids or the woman he passed in the soup aisle was raised Jewish. Those normal interactions directly next to his own words and opinions of hate could've painted the picture I think the NYT was maybe going for. Been a big fan of your show for a LONG time, very interesting to hear your own take. -JRK

@repker
@repker 6 лет назад
It doesn't. It's just an unfalsifiable claim usually asserted by news sites hoping to attract attention. Only the stupid outliers in society are really concerned about the 'normalization' of anything, and they'll be the exact people to chime in once the story's been put out there. Once they do, the other minority at the opposite end of the spectrum with spout back with vitriol. The two sides will bounce back and forth for a bit, and then go back to their respective echo chambers. This further fosters coverage of the story, whether it be, "look at how stupid the other side is," or "look at this crazy thing that's happening." In the end the media gets the attention they wanted, some portion of the populace becomes polarized/more polarized, and public perception of societal consciousness further skews away from reality. This cycle then repeats with some other bit of 'news'. The key here is the silent majority. Most people are smart enough to realize these are non-issues and don't say shit. Unfortunately this has the aforementioned side effect.

YT couldn't organise a piss-up at a brewery. Sorry but they've never listened. They've been on top due to volume but have always been so massively lacking in transparency and made one terrible decision after another. There's a chance that they'll have a radical change of thinking but we've been waiting for like 6 years. With the ad thing, first they showed a total lack of spine in letting the ads guys push people around (much like copyright claims and other longterm YT crap) and not correcting misinformation to protect their creators. Then they massively failed to uphold their own policies despite countless warnings and basically said (eventually) "yeah we don't tolerate that at all on our site, it's terrible" , despite their site actually having tons of it on it and them not doing anything about it til the roof caved in. They've done the "we have room for improvement" semi-sorry but come on. Who the hell actually has any faith in YT at this point? They've had everything on a platter for years and yet all they ever seem to do is make terrible decisions, allow the people who keep them afloat to be trampled and ignore problems until it makes them look bad. It's a miracle they've lasted this long. I love video creation but maybe we need a site that's actually not crap now for it to go forwards? It's about the creators not the site. RU-vid is like a once beautiful lake that became immensely popular, now it's a stagnant puddle that we're all still standing around because the sign still says "beautiful lake". Other than the creators we love being here wading through the crap and getting down, what is good about this website in itself? Time for a new home.
@SerialPillock
@SerialPillock 6 лет назад
We got by for years without all this trouble with ads. It was just the few inflammatory paper stories that got it all kicked up. YT should've simply clarified the facts and reassured the companies, instead they let them trample their users and dictate terms. Now all the companies have to do is say "well .... we might remove ads..." and YT will do whatever they're told. They showed no spine and got bought basically. Their creators can't rely on them and the ad companies don't respect them because they're pushovers. All ad companies care about is selling crap, that's it. If they end up looking bad they'll take the moral high ground and blame someone else until it blows over. In this case YT basically needed to run damage control, instead they just collapsed. I doubt the ad companies actually expected or wanted that at all as it's bad for them, they were just playing for points and saving face.

The problem with some people is how they constantly preach that everyone deserves to be heard despite their race, religion, sexual orientation, and beliefs. They follow this for the most part, until someone with views opposing theirs speaks. Then, they switch from "Everyone should have a voice!" to "Freedom of Speech, not right to a platform.". Let the Nazi say what he has to say, since we may be able to provide a persuasive enough argument for him to change his mind. Also, it does bring attention to the fact that there are still Nazi groups. His views are wrong, but if we silence them, we open up the door for any view that isn't like our own to be silenced.

Telling whites they should be ashamed for existing is why white nationalism is on the rise. Guys like the one interviewed for the NYT's should be mentioned for exactly the reason DeFranco mentioned. Ignoring them doesn't stop them from existing, it just allows them to live under the radar. Do you really want to go on for years and or even decades not knowing the suddenly, maybe, there's an uprising and you go, "Huh?! We never saw it coming!" When you actively ignored certain people? I hate communists, but they should still have some limelight because we need to know they live among us and we need to be able to debate their ideas. Posting something to let you know it exists isn't the same as agreeing with them. People need to stop pretending that just mentioning something equals an endorsement. Also, question, but are you advocating murdering this guy because you don't like his ideas? You sound like a fascist/authoritarian... with a sweet tooth for killing people you don't like.

How do you know it's cancer before even examining it? You don't know a person's beliefs unless you allow them to talk. Once you know what they are, that they actually are a Nazi, then you can break down their beliefs and show them, and more importantly everyone else, why their beliefs aren't right. Besides, if your beliefs were the ones under question I'm pretty sure you'd prefer having the ability to voice them than being silenced out-right.

Just an example here: we are a full LEGO channel and just started getting demonetized on upload. Just recently we got hit on LEGO news video about upcoming sets. A news video. That meant we lost all initial revenue on content highly relevant to us because they remonetized 2 days after publishing. And we have to publish on schedule. Unacceptable...

I'm sort of confused. Advertisers run their ads on tv channels like Comedy Central, adult swim, and FX. All of which of some really adult themed tv shows that are far worse than what gets demonetized on RU-vid. Is it simply because these are creators not in bed with big production companies, and don't get the pass to make monetized adult content?

It's because the videos are supposedly part of a separate more heavily moderated/closely scrutinized segment of youtube dubbed "youtube kids" which reasonably might lead parents that did not grow up with internet access and aren't aware of how difficult it is to curate content on an open platform that receives thousands of hours of video uploaded each day, I am usually the first to defend the content of any form of media (e.g. parents properly researching video game purchases) but this is a platform presented as being safe to allow children to browse.
@randomfools808
@randomfools808 6 лет назад
These children's channels have content thats worse and it's aimed at kids. Companies want nothing to do with that. There was also videos of little girls stripping to their panties on here just a few days ago by russian channels under "webcam from". They've been deleted but yeah that should all be terminated. I don't care if the kid thinks it's innocent either. Pedophiles were watching in the comments.
@randomfools808
@randomfools808 6 лет назад
Jason Martin Right but these videos are so easy to search for that RU-vid should have deleted them long ago. Search "Minnie pole dancing" right now...there they are. It's not hard to erase them or their entire channels. They are breaking the rules now. It's against guidelines to use these characters as comedy or satire now. They just need to hire a team to go after them all.

The issue with RU-vid is that since just about anyone can post a video it's inherently not child friendly. The two options RU-vid has is to continue on this route of making themselves seem more professional hence attempt a crackdown on any channels they disagree with which is hard because all blanket decisions are gonna result in innocent people also being demonised or having their channels deleted. The other option is to just be clear that RU-vid is not for children and was never meant for that, letting the parents choose for themselves if they allow their children to watch. I'm interested to see if this would result in a reversion to old school media channels at least for children's programming.
@izzatihassan1475
@izzatihassan1475 6 лет назад
Mustafe Mohamed the thing is, old school media channels are using youtube now aside from the normal TV route. Nickelodeon has NickJr channel here, fisher price has one, Babyfirst has one, Mother goose club, and so on. They knew that a lot of kids are on their app more than in front of the tv, so losing out on their target audience is never an option. RU-vid needs to strengthen its algorithm so that its Kids app can fully filter damaging content, even from so-called "family friendly" channels.
@mustafemohamed210

RU-vid has on multiple opportunities shown themselves to be a reactionary company, that only makes changes in the event of backlash. This means though I think they will make a change, I just don't trust they'll put the needed effort in to eradicate the problem.

Hm, look like a lot of mainstream advertisers are becoming a bit of a wimp now. Yes, many of the channels mentioned are inappropriate and should not be given the ability to make money while targeting young kids. But do they reeeallly think a logical, reasonable, and sane person would see a that just because a company's ad is in a channel's video, it mean the company is supportive of the channel? I don't think anyone with IQ of at least moderate level would think that. I wouldn't think that Nike's ad appearing in a video showing, I don't know, a kid being scared by clowns and peeing on themselves...would suddenly think "Woah, why is Nike's shoe ads on this video? Is Nike ok with this video's message?"...again, no I wouldn't think that. Advertisers need to not be so scared by political-correctness...and understand people wouldn't suddenly associate ads on a channel as show of support.
@bigpete7865
@bigpete7865 6 лет назад
Chris Fuller while I do agree with you, i could also easily see an outcome where the hive mind of stupid people kick in and do what the advertisers fear. Similar to the extent of the Ed Miliband sandwich photograph. At this point I just assume that all companies think that their customers are morons that would easily take something the wrong way, so they just stay clear of any slightly controversial topic. On one side, based on how the culture of today is, I can't really say that I blame them. Also, not saying I think it's right that companies are pulling their ads from videos, but I'm just saying it's the other side of the story.

While what you talked about is probably one reason advertisers are pulling from youtube, it’s not just that. RU-vidrs get their money from advertising meaning that these companies are indirectly funding these abhorrent channels. Having advertisers pulling their stuff from youtube is also basically a calling card for youtube to get its shit together. Advertisers are doing what they can to speed the process along. These guys aren’t pulling their stuff off the website forever, just until they think that youtube is stable enough again. Think of it this way. Let’s say that you’re a regular customer at a store, but then you eventually realize it’s a front for a drug trafficking ring. Sure, you’re not going to be associated with the drug trafficking ring cause you didn’t know it was there, but would you want to keep shopping there? Knowing that your money is funding criminals? Idk about you, but personally, I wouldn’t. So yeah sure, maybe advertisers are afraid of not being “politically correct” but there’s a bit more to “youtube adpocalypse 3.0” than advertisers being scared of the fact that they’re being associated with the channels they appear on.
@AceAngelTTV
@AceAngelTTV 6 лет назад
Claire Kim not much of an argument, any of form of advertising could have people working for the newspaper/tv show/radio station etc with views and "hobbies" different to their ideals.. Do they go and snoop on all their lives too? No its just as impossible to police all of youtube.

Advertisers also have to worry about people sensationalizing their support of someone. Sorta like what happened to New York Times except that it might not be deserved in their case. Many people would write them off as "typical companies". Good business is honest business however and they are trying to put out honest products that speak to their own defense not riding a wave of popularity or infamy, and in that case they have to be on guard against things that would affect their reputation. New York Times can literally fire the journalist that posted a sensationalist article, but if a company 'anonymously' supports a bad trend, then they will be seen as offenders in the whole. It's just bad business practice to 'allow it'. Now if they were supporting legal +18 content I wouldn't see as much harm as it is when it's illegal and/or exploiting children.

My parents have deleted youtube and youtube kids from my 6 year old brother's tablet so many times (eventually, after a lecture and possibly grounding they let him redownload it). But the reasons for them doing this are that we'll walk in and he'll be watching the creepiest, most inappropriate videos! We try to explain to him why he can't watch things like that, but he's 6!
