Pretty sure GLITCH is still indie, pay fund everything they do, the story and episodes will not be changed by Netflix, and GLITCH has always stated that they will always be focused on indie animations

​@@TheFleshDemandsInvitation Well... it's like Netflix said... the name kills engagement. The results in the view counts support this. Murder Drones is great, but it isn't gonna set the world on fire the way TADC did. It's literally the difference between PG-13 and NC-17. That said, would be smart for Netflix to license Murder Drones as well if TADC performs well on the platform. It now suits their binge model and is easier to pitch as a "you might also like" to TADC. Plus, they WERE previously interested in publishing it outright, so I don't see why they wouldn't be willing to license the completed product with a proven audience. Gooseworx themselves strongly hinted that Netflix was considering it, even.

Yes I agree murder drones needs to be on Netflix especially for all of the hard work that has been put into it

@@Frizzlepopplus it would beneficial and it would give more attention to the show too! (Possibly even opening up better chances at making a season 2?? Honestly idk if we will get a season 2, it’s more likely we get a few short spinoff mini episodes or least a comic book to tie up loose ends. The only way to know for sure is if Liam confirms anything during GlitchX 2024)

Glitch said they were against selling the show, which they aren't doing. They retain full rights to the series and are funding it independently. It's still indie (unlike another former indie pilot I could name), Netflix is just hosting it the same way they host shows like Fairly Oddparents that they don't own.

Maybe, Possibly. Liam could just be postponing season 2 for a few years to take a break. What is more likely is that we get a few spinoff mini episodes to fill in lore gaps, or a comic book at the very least.

I explain in the video why it's good that GLITCH is doing this. They said they would never sell the rights to their shows, they're not doing that with Digital Circus lol.

It's so new audiences who haven't seen TADC can see it.

Well for one, people who aren’t familiar with indie animation or don’t watch this kind of stuff on RU-vid can find it on Netflix and the show will expand. Second, Netflix doesn’t have any ads while RU-vid does and RU-vid makes you pay to not get ads so people would probably prefer Netflix if they already are paying for it and don’t wanna pay for premium at the same time!
