youve got to drive the new performance model... I swapped from the C8 to C8 performance... its like night and day... much faster, more sound, gearbox tuned to be much faster, more rear biased, new diff and turbos... theyve completely dialled out understeer now, and it can power oversteer. The base car was very vanilla, with a skewing toward comfort and refinement... the performance is aggressive.
89k current market for mine Versus 120k plus (for a used RS6) that actually feels 'marginally' different purely on power for the new perf...dont see the value personally but each to their own i guess. Nobody thats a normal everyday driver of a high performance car would see almost 30k difference....plus much cheaper on finance lol
@@mikeyboy4192 its just personal preference...nothing wrong with the base C8... you can always put lighter weight wheels on it and tune it... as someone who owned the normal C8 and ran a stage 1 on it... the new car is actually quicker than my stage 1 which is down to the new turbochargers, gearbox software making the changes quicker etc. youll probably find the resale on the new model is much better now than the old one - as its now out of date, I look less at price and more on resale value.
