Crazy cause I have no hate towards to Brabus (love everything else they put out), but yeah it’s the one case I think they made their version not as nice as original!
that headlight is literally the same one Husqvarna uses on their svartpilens and vitpilens, its the exact same, look it up. Edit: just noticed that the mirrors are also Husqvarna original parts for the vit and svart
As a 1290 Super Duke R owner, I can tell you a lot of those carbon parts look exactly like the ones you get from KTM. Even the rear sets are the same design as the $600 OEM option. There's no way the bike is worth anywhere near $40k even with all the 'handmade' stuff. There's just no way
Brabus paying me? I wish haha , i'm just a big Brabus fan. And it's all about exclusive stuff at Brabus. Why would anyone pay 100.000 for a Rolex if you can just get a 50€ watch that works just as fine. This is a one off product with top notch handmade stuff on it :-)
Thanks for the vid and review. I love the custom but ig I have to choose I would go for 1290 super Duke R, it surely looks like a beast, agressive, mean and powerful. Brabus custom is pretty but I wish if the made a change they would made a complete rework of sub-frames and fairing to make the bike truly classic.
KTM sold their soul to “ex soccer player” exclusivity. (Oh and that headlight is the same as on a Vitpilen, I checked the numbers you can see in the “glass”…). This bike could have been an awesome Vitpilen 1301, and I bet it was destined as such in the early development stages… with a limited run and an idiotic price tag none will be ridden to their fullest potential…
In short, a 1290 SDR (19590 euro) with this optional: Tech Pack (949,04 euro) Compliant slip-on w/out removable db-killer (1299,99 euro) Carbon fiber kit (2300ish euro) Short stroke accelerator (199,04 euro) For a grand total of 24,338,07 euro... yeah, i'll take the SDR, even counting in the "exclusivity" of BRABUS, the 40k price tag isn't worth it. The front light IS taken from husqvarna and this bike could've been a really good big boy husqy, sad that at KTM nobody seems to have thought about it.
hey smokey! you have to have to see the new DAKAR version of KTm super adventure R created by roland sands, you will cry how good it is :D Super duke RR is much better looking much better version and alot cheper then this one i am afraid. and you get all the carbon too, light wheels too.
I love the 1290, in fact i've had 5 : 2 v1s : 2 v2s & now a v3.......I don't really like the look of the Brabus & the price is ridiculous.....I'd rather have the RR version & rumour has it they are going to do another run of the RR.
This bike looks super awesome except that exhaust design which does not even match with the over-all design language of the bike. I'm highly disappointed by the brand being one of the top custom builders.
So it's a KTM with a higher pricetag. Also that red background will burn your retinas at night. Not really worth the money, it's just bragging rights and nothing more since it's a naked.
They can say whatever they want but that’s a rebadged Vitpilen headlight you have to be blind to say it’sa G wagon headlight.( Husqvarna is owned by KTM)
Facts! Brabus sold the Andy Warholl sls in America last month at Sotheby's auction. There was a blue and red square painting that my kid could have made. Was sold for $60.000.000 😂🙈
Well it isn't worth 40k , not by far even. Anyone with a litlle common sense who sees this will go to KTM and buy that or for the looks go to Yamaha sp-10 and save 16k. Stop trying to convince people overpriced prestige brands are worth it. That thing costs more then a BMW M1000RR , I don't know whether to laugh or cry about that.
Imagine owning a bike like this, yet needin' to keep a foot down when taking off and keep it down for over 200 feet... -Facepalm- Just ship me the 1300R my guy, I'll make some incredible content with it.
Personally, I don't like the way it looks; it looks like a Ducati Diavel and a Husqvarna Svartpilen hooked up, and the child got the worst features from both. Maybe in person they are look much better but on video it looks chinese bike and look kinda cheat for 40k. Super Duke 1290 R looks much better with more attitude, in my opinion.
Yeah, The Barabus 1300R ISN'T worth 40k. It's a bike that KTM built to be 'collectable' therefore it's not! A few footballers or new money guys will probably buy it thinking they'll make a killing but one sold at auction in the UK recently and made less than it cost new.....buyer aren't falling for this crap anymore. MV, Triumph, Ducati (that awful Lambo Diavel) are all culprits not just KTM.
why is the brabus 1300 r priced at 40k? because it says brabus on it. sold to fools who need to compensate for something lmao. if you actually know anything about motorcycles, 40k will get you a hell of a lot more bike than that. or several top of the line production bikes.
That's just it right there , you will have a production bike just like your neighbour and your best friend buys. Brabus is all about exclusivity. That's why they only made 154 of these motorcycles. The craftsmanship added to this bike is amazing to see up close. But i do understand your thought 😌🙌
