I never really thought about this but brilliant point. The news outlets I used to bank on like CNN, have morphed into almost another far right channel leaning with all of the GOP pundits they now have as regulars and political experts and the platform has changed to attract these GOP base to boost their ratings. It's so obvious. There are a handful of regulars I love, but new management has given many their marching orders. I wrote CNN and told them I won't be watching anymore. Great comment again. Yes even after he's convicted, it ll be a news bonanza for awhile.

I have unplugged and canceled my cable news subscription two years ago with the exception of CNN which comes with the whole package, but I never watch it. Probably canceling cable next year.

I am hoping that you will include me, as well, in your prayers. I am also undergoing tratment for cancer, uterine cancer. I am halfway through my treatment. The 4 cm tumor that was wrapped around my urethra and a spot in my upper abdoman was gone after three chemo/immunotherapy treatments. The doctor said that was highly unusual, and no spread was found. I am celebrating that. I am continuing with treatment. I am having radiation now, just started, about five weeks left. With the radiation, I will also get two immunotherapy treatments to distroy any microscopic cancer that has been left over, then I have two more chemo/immuneotherapy treatments, then done. I am so happy that my treatment is successful, so far, and know it will continue to be successful.

Spirituality does not require flesh as food. It is best to abstain from causing senseless pain to others and from an industry that perpetuates poverty, starvation, and, yes, ill health. Just as one example, the man who proved heart disease could actually be reversed-- Dr. Ornish, decades ago-- did it with a vegetarian diet. But, as C Myss said, diet is not religion, and one could eat only cat food & still be enlightened ( eventually, I guess).
