In this video, I go over why the Denver Nuggets have been so good this season. I also go over why they are so good in the clutch, and why they come up big when it matters. Music: LCS - / lcsprod
It's team effort but the glue is Jokic. It seems that his personality makes others in the team trust him and enjoy playing with him. That's a great thing from a superstar, he ain't selfish ball hog like many other superstars are. Jokic mindset is, team first, personal stats after.
I’m a Denver Nugget fan, born and raised! Been here from the start of these Nuggets way back in the ABA (Rockets!) And there is nothing that would make me happier than to see Joker pull this off!! Go Nuggets!! Go Serbia!
I’m not sure he’ll play in the Olympics if they win the finals like last summer. He was too tired after the finals to play in the world championships. A of Serbians were mad he didn’t play but the guy is human and needs rest. He’s not a machine with unlimited battery power.
@@chuckb6308 If he skips this Olympics, he will be dead for most of us. We are watching him and supporting him in the NBA because we project his victories as our own and this is especially the case because he's playing in the US but if he doesn't play for the national team, he won't ever be considered a legend of Serbian basketball, just and individual talent. I can bet money that we will start calling him an American in a pejorative sense. I hope it makes some sense.
I am a heat man but I love watching the nuggets. I hoop to stay in shape and they play the game the right way. Plenty of teams have more star power but they have the best player in the league and play like a team. I see a lot of people that can make highlight plays doing crossovers into step backs. Put those same players see their team lose when they go against players that play together, when they play a team that passes the ball and plays defense. All those role players can hoop and Jokic gets the best out of them
You said it all. They got incredible talent around Joker and Jamal, plus an outstanding team chemistry. Their unselfish way of playing the game and involving all team mates is second to none. I think they will defend their title and if Joker does not win another reg. season MVP it would be a scandal.
The only criticism I can give the nuggets is 3rd Q I don’t know how many times I’ve seen it, the nuggets tend to give the opposing team a 10+ point run outa nowhere this happens a lot when they’re up by 10-20 points they really have to stop that.
I been rocking with the nuggets ever since i started watching in 2016, used to live in denver so only felt right to support my home town, Jokic has been my fav player and its always been so hard to argue with people about it till his first mvp, so its like even if you hate him you cant deny the greatness. We going b2b for sure if we play like last year, no one in the west is scary and i think we could take boston or milwakee
This is what I love to see, a true team. They are so good because they actually work together perfectly. Like a well oiled machine, they all do their jobs and trust each other to do theirs. It’s a lot about Jokic, but also is because of their coach.
The nuggets remind me of the 04 pistons. When they had billups, rip, prince, ben and sheed. Theyre all perfect fits for their role and team is greater than the individuals. But then they got jokic
"Tied for first place with the Bulls... Showing an unrivaled tenacity" Made me lol, you just outlined a stat as to who exactly their rival was. Great vid, but gotta lol at the lols.
they are in it to win it..some things can't be prepared for and thats the luck factor but they've definitely worked hard enough to deserve the win..As far as Jokic vs team effort..i think its the right combination of both..Jokic has been on the team since 2017 and was great even then..But it wasn't until he got the playmaker position that he got to be amazing say 2020-2021..and it wasn't until the team learned to work synregistically that the nuggets started being the top contenders in the NBA..say 2022-2023..It took some time to develop but they are running like a well oiled machine, beating the best..making it look so easy..its like watching a magic show at times..the quick decisions and misdirection leaves us pondering what just happenened here?.. Go Jokic..And Denver..
People are trying so hard to ignore and forget that Jokic is even in NBA Even when it comes to media, youtube videos specifically. Titles with Nikola Jokic are not getting many views. Nightmare comes to bite them in the ass when their favourite team is playing against Nuggets. People are so scared of 🃏.
If they were to not win the finals this year but win it next year you could still begin to start touching on the topic of dynasty then. If it was this year then that's an easy argument to make for sure. But let them win the second one before you start counting chickens. I'm excited for them to destroy the NBA financially incentivised narrative though. They already did last year.
wait, at 0:32 did you say they were 9th in the conference instead of 1st? Not a very talent filled roster, a 2 time mvp, a sidekick that regularly throws up 30-40 ppg in the playoffs. A guy that was by far the most talented player on a magic team who is now the 3rd or 4th best player on the team. MPJ is a 6'9" sf that can put up 16 and 8 easily with 40% 3pt shooting. And KCP is the ultimate 3 and D.. Sure.. not very talented. You also mentioned a few bench players over Peyton Watson who has been by far their best bench player. Followed by jackson and braun
I did say 9th dangggg, my bad brother. They have very talented roster but, it’s just when you look at it simply, it doesn’t seem like they are as good as they are.
Not talented? Jokic was under the radar. Watson as well because he barely played but his defense talent is crazy. murray ick 7. kcp 8. gordon pick 4. mpj was pick 1 before the injuries
@@WilboHoops i’m sorry there’s just been so many AI bball videos floating around it got me doubting everyone 😭 i really did enjoy the video i wouldn’t even comment if i didn’t
