They sure are absolutely "Hallucinate" off of "The Color Decay" is heavy as shit eh.

Making heavier music seems juvenile to some of you, something that needs growing out of. Sad.

@@spectre722 no, but they were very young when they were writing these older "heavier" songs. TDWP is still heavy. But some people think just cuz it's not open chugs anymore it's not metal. They've grown and matured and their music has evolved along with them. Everyone else who saw this got the point, so you must be brain dead.

Color decay was a masterpiece IMO

The band changed with Dead Throne. There was a noticeable lack of volume for the keyboards done by James with little variation from previous works, then led to the band kicking him out. Once the band kicked out James, the corruption of the world had successfully won. More booze, more cursing on stage, more tattoos and more Masonic symbolism in their presentation. Chris was still in the band during 8:18, however, the band was already not as heavy as they were in previous albums prior to Dead Throne and that lack of aggression made its way into the obnoxiously sad and overly electronically dark album that came after Dead Throne, which was 8:18.

@@AGuyUwUyeah man. I pretty much totally agree. I think my personal preferences lead me to like the zombie EP just a little bit better. I know that they also change producers on dead throne. I believe they were using… Jayme King? I can’t remember or some guy named Kyle? I don’t know but that was back when they were still passionate and using a guy that mostly just did Metalcore at the time. I know they went with Killswitch engages Guitarist on dead throne I believe. But anyway, after that, their stuff didn’t punch as much. They lost that “playing in the dirt at cornerstone “ sound. It’s tough to watch one of my favorite bands go down like that. But like I said, I’ll always support these guys and they will always have a very special place in my heart in my life.

@@pauljarrell8162 If Mike or Jeremy leave the band, the band is dead. Jeremy said if Mike left that he would follow him. Mike only has so much voice left in him, but, I respect the hustle because he's lasted this long. Regardless, I still think Prada's best era was from their demo called Patterns of A Horizon through the first Zombie EP. Once Dead Throne came out, Mike's vocals were blown out and it sounded like the guitarist of Killswitch Engage rushed every song to try to make them all sound like hits but it just didn't work.

It's wild to me that as much music as they have made in as many different styles there isn't ANYTHING you like. You probably haven't listened to anything beyond the occasional single if there was legitimately nothing you liked

@@brendangibson8200 To be fair my preferences altered as I aged, naturally. Even if the following albums sounded exactly the same, it wouldn't have been what I was looking for at that time. I don't really listen to TDWP that much at this point. I have a few songs that I still really like but I'll have no problem skipping over most of the other songs. And you're right, I hadn't heard much other than the singles. If I'm not feeling the direction of the singles, why spend the time going through the album? But I read your comment and then did go skip through their albums. I downloaded Dead Throne when it came out, but remember not being into it. It sounds like a continuation of the Zombie EP, but there are things I don't like about it. Mike's screams are pretty not good on it. 8:18 is promising, there seemed to be some good stuff on there. Not sure how I'm feeling about Space. I heard a couple things on Transit Blues but they're starting to lose me. Same thing with The Act, some heavy parts but not really digging entire songs. And again with Color Decay, something like Watchtower sounds pretty solid though. I was excited when ZII was announced and I listened to it when it came out, and I thought it was good but never got around to listening more or buying it. At this point, I'm getting the most enjoyment out of an entirely different style of music, so I'd have to go out of my way to sit and listen to TDWP's whole discography post-Zombie. I do still love riffs and breakdowns and screams and blast beats, that hasn't changed, but I spend more time listening to cute stuff. 😅
