Why the DJI Mavic Pro Platinum is still one of the best drones in 2021. 

I just sold my platinum. Bro. you're not supposed to fly with the gimbal plastic covering on. That's only there for protection during storage you will mess up your gimbal if you fly with that on. 😳 (Read the manual)

Built an MP1 from new DJI replacement parts. The upper body is only $7.... This drone rocks, put a DecalGirl Dystopia wrap on it... It was groundbreaking at the time, its like a musclecar and a beast... in 2021.

Like the video, but that wind. I stayed through it though. I heard a good tip that I haven't actually tried yet, keep a sock that you can put over your mic to block the wind, works on a cell phone too. I'll let you know if it works.

I purchased a Platinum and I still have it. I only purchase DJI drones. I really like the appearance of the Platinum, it's unique in it's shiny coat deviating from other DJI drones and although it has the older hardware and the newer ones have higher quality and better stats the Platinum is a quiet and powerful flying drone. My DJI FPV can be heard halfway across town and is incredibly fast but as the light fades the quality of the photos also does. I am not upgrading to the Air 2S, keeping my Air 2 and waiting for the Pro 3. Meanwhile the Mini line is going in multiple directions with a 3 or 2S nearing the market I'm staying with my Mini 2 as well. I just can't keep up with all of them. I'm doing more digital FPV now, sorry analog, I know... but everythings clear and it's improved so much. With all the rapid advancements I still find myself flying my Platinum with the dual range extenders which takes it out almost as far at the ocusync 2 and 3

I love MPP because it is one of the best dji drone along mavic mini series and beautiful but expensive.

it's got better speed controllers

You can connect the remote to the phone using the usb port on the bottom of the remote and the connect a small powerbank to the remote micro port to charge remote while flying.

Hopefully by now, you know the plastic lens is merely a protective lens cap. You install to store and remove BEFORE turning on. 😊
