Thank you for your incredible honesty in your journey and observations. You made a compassionate and strong decision to stop participating in violence, which all of us need to consider. I do clearly notice, as the camera shows your audience, the many numbers of people who are crossing their arms in a defensive mode. Most also have a very serious look on their faces, surely not wanting to listen to your words. Your words force other people to think about their choices and what they are participating in, just by having a meal. Your message is clear, but many humans have a difficult time reckoning with their habitual addiction to animal products, with their not wanting to be cruel. I took the plunge over twenty years ago and became an ethical vegan. I care about the animals, the environment, and yes, humanity. Being a whole food ethical vegan is an amazing experience that changes your life--body, mind, and spirit-- for the better.

I am vegetarian since 2012. No dairy milk anymore. I 😘 ve coconut milk and almond milk. Getting rid off the eggs and trying to get rid off the cheese. No animals (meat)at all.
@Matthew Kuhn Even though I've been vegan for 7 years with perfect blood tests, let's pretend for a moment that we actually did need to take suppliments to thrive on a plant based diet. How would that be even a drop in the bucket compared to the suffering the animals endure day in and day out?
@@thankyouforbeingafriend9632 I have never heard of anyone who lives a vegan lifestyle who switched because they didn't like the taste of meat. Or dairy. Or eggs.
We dont force people to go vegan. we explain that they are alternative to animals produce to make less harm to animals and that we can thrive and be healthy on a plant based diet without exploiting animals that feels emotions and pain.
If that's the case, we meat-eaters need to start putting our animals on LAYAWAY . I think Walmart still does SITE-TO-STORE . Let's see, that'll be how many cows, pigs and chickens for a family of 12 per year ? We may have to do some genetic CLONING . That'll work !
For someone who is NOT vegan/vegetarian, that is TOO MUCH meat! A healthy diet (for "meat eaters") is 20%-10% meat or less. Ask any doctor if you do not believe me. Look at the food pyramid. Everything above that is ABNORMAL
@Lawrence Jörgensen what's it to you? You do you, let others make their own choice. Proscription of other people's lives is fascism. The key this presenter ignores is ethical husbandry and high welfare meat, she ignores all of that. Intensive animal farming really does need outlawing, but do farm animals all have to cease to exist to pander to this nonsense?
I just can't see myself ever becoming vegan. For now I am buying naturally-raised farm food. Eventually I will switch over to bug protein meat or lab grown meat.
+Thomson Eating meat does not automatically mean I will have a short life; especially if I am careful to choose where the meat is made form (mainly staying away from factory farms). Also, why would I die from bug protein meat?
