Go Navy!! I am a Navy vet. Thank you so much for your transparency. Whether we agree or not if someone SHOULD do such a procedure, it's really nobody's business what we SHOULD do. Fact is, you wanted to do it, due to your research, you did it, and we all learn a great deal. I learned not to do it, haha, and I learned that I probably could never do a chamber either due to claustrophobia. I let my hair go grey in my 50's because I just couldn't afford to keep it dyed, and I was getting tired of the maintenance. My kids and friends say my hair is just as beautiful as ever and my daughter-in-law says she no longer fears grey hair because she will let it go natural as I did and will love every bit of it!!

I had surgery 4 years to have my eye bags removed. After the surgery, Apparently my eyes weren’t shutting enough so they were extra dry. My eyeballs were yellow and red and the texture was horrible. I was so mad that I tried to change my looks, but I was holding in the tears. After 2 weeks, I couldn’t take it anymore, I balled and balled and balled and found that the real real tears is what I needed. The next morning I could see the difference. So I decided to watch a bunch of sad soppy movies for the next couple of days. Finally, I was healing. At first I was mad at myself, but now I couldn’t be more happy about the outcome.

To each her own choice. I sincerely hope dr. Boz heals perfectly and that the results are as she expects and hopes for and more. I think it’s super important that she really repeats, underscores, about the risks of this, she went into it after years of complex protocol; her body was at its best to handle it, she has a hyperbaric chamber to use, she has the knowledge and the accessibility of handling any emergency, like the sinus infection. This is crucial. There is one thing I am disappointed about, I remember a long time ago on a live a question about cellulite and keto, which is not only “aesthetics” - and dr. Boz is advocating for aesthetics in this moment, no shade, no shame about that but I am surprised since she used to be so judgy about that - cellulite is an inflammation, and it has a huge impact on many women’s self esteem (not saying that’s ok, it is what it is, and I did not ask that question) that live she just brushed the question off with judgement, she was busy with serious issues, not vanity (not her words, which I do not remember, her attitude) and did not answer. I wish she was less judgmental of others as we all have our own vulnerable spots, which this procedure of hers is showing. And I wish she had answered that question it would have been more congruent and respectful.

I am 67. I can imagine having a surgical procedure on my face only if a doctor who was so well-recommended that I couldn't afford him was doing it. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind having my wing flaps removed because I've lost 50 pounds (so far) and they're pretty ugly. In fact I would be fine with some minimal scarring, doesn't have to be perfect to be a lot better than they look now.

Speaking as a guy in my early 30s, women don't reach their peak into their 40s and even 50s. That's if they look after their health. Those women who live healthy, when they reach 40s and even well into 50s are the most attractive for men. And Dr Boz looks amazing, she ages very well. I've been doing the same treatment for years. I do about every 18 months. I look like a burns victim for a few days, but no pain after the initial few hours. I take strong painkillers before and 4 hours after the treatment. After that no painkillers required. I get great results. I've had people ask my if I've had a facelift before. The science bit (I remember from nurse school many moons ago!) is if you pin prick the skin (with lasers or actual needles) you body will dramatically increase the collagen production 2 or 3 mm around the puncture wound and this is what tightens your skin. After a few days you can sloosh of the dead skin/scabs with an abrasive wash or mit and cover up with your usual foundation.

Well, Dr. Boz, all that may be for nothing unless you're taking vitamin C to the tune of 10 grams per day, and the amino-acid L-lysine by the 5 grams per day, for that is the minimum needed to convince the body to produce collagen after age 50. I do take them, and I do heal from wounds; in fact, my skin recovers from a pinch test in like half a second, as if I was a 20 year old, and I'm 65. But you can't beat around the bush on this one. No 10g C?, no 5g lysine?, no collagen. Period! And don't say these are high amounts, because any stupid dog makes 17 grams of vitamin C per day. It's only humans and orangutans that can't. And we used to get them easily, anyways, from animals, as raw meat has huge amounts of vitamin C. But cook it and it's gone. And no, I'm *NOT* advocating eating raw meat; but you can buy vitamin C at the pharmacy, nowadays; the trick is to just do it. And not chewable; chewable C destroys your mouth. And not timed-release; it destroys your stomach. And not "natural" or "from natural source", which destroy your budget for nothing. Just the cheap, plain C tablets or powder. EDIT: Oh, yeah, this is called "the Pauling Protocol", and it calls for a bit of glycine, also; but I get my glycine from taking the bisglycinate forms of magnesium and zinc. Search for "linus pauling vitamin c lysine protocol" to know more.

@@sl4983 Yes, IF you gulp it down fast. Don't let ascorbic acid spend even a second in your mouth; that is BAD for ya, (for the enamel, you get cankers on your tongue and gums). That's what happened to me when I was young and started consuming chewable vitamin C. BAD stuff ... Your esophagus does not like vitamin C either; so you should gulp it down fast AND follow it with water to wash the esophagus quickly. The esophagus likes to be on the alkaline side; but your stomach can stomach vitamin C no problem, though ... Unless it is Timed Release vitamin C ... That is another BAD thing, as the TR vit C tablet dissolves slowly, and what most people do is throw one back and sit to watch TV, so the tablet sticks to one spot on the wall of the stomach and acidifies it on, and on, for a whole hour; all the acidity concentrated in the same spot, and it can give you an ulcer. So, stay away from chewable AND from timed release.

I quit coloring my hair in 2014 and I get so many compliments on my grayish hair. I've had a lower facelift over 10 yrs ago. I like that I can age gracefully. I'm also researching starting keto and that's why I've been watching your videos. You're very knowledgeable and share alot of information (ie; the science) and I like that about you. I do quite a few alternative type therapies and I'd say I'm much healthier now at 65 than I was in my 40's but aging hurts, physically (inflammation) and I personally think if one wants to be a better version of themselves, they should! I had a facial in 2017 which did nearly the same thing to my face as your laser treatment did. Most of the work I've had done was in Costa Rica or Mexico by qualified surgeons and a dermatologist. The facial was about 1/10 the price of your laser treatment so there are things people can do to get similar results but for less cost. I wish I could send you a pic from then but I don't see anywhere I could post it here. Keep up the good work. You are an amazing healthcare professional and a higher vibration than average. I had this procedure done (age 60) and it really helped my Mediteranian skin that is prone to acne and pore congestion. I healed up quickly and my skin looks great. That said, it is a bit painful and takes a few days to heal. You will probably be happy iwht teh results once you are completely healed! thank you for your video!

You are a BRAVE woman!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! I am torned between praying your son gets in and praying he doesn't. Right now the military requires more patience than any other place I know of...watch all my husband goes thru each day and the nonsense has increased 10x over the last 5 years...rushing to wokeness over caring about readiness or military health or anything. Latest is the Navy near Seattle using Psilocybin mushrooms to treat PTSD instead of even trying Keto (Keto currently a no-go in the military!, even though Navy Seals have used it effectively in the past!)

I think you will love the results. I like to do Cool Peel, which is the CO2 peel, but the gentle version and the results are lovely. I love hyperbaric treatments, great for autoimmune and just overall health. At first I thought maybe you had a Phenol peel, which I'd love to try. Don't worry Doc. you are going to love it and seeing as you had the deep peel, you won't have to do it again, well maybe in decade, but who knows what awesome procedures will be available in 2033? I do have one question for you though Dr. B. I've been hearing a lot about hydrated cells lately, and how keeping your cells hydrated can yield incredible weight loss, and autoimmune remissions results. I have been using electrolytes and glycine powder in my water to help w/ hydration and help quell my AI symptoms. What else should I be doing and does using the electrolytes and glycine water break my fast and stop autophagy?

At 76, I’ve been teaching fitness classes for almost 40 years. I also eat healthy and have used retinA for years. I might look 60 at most. Retina is not that expensive anymore and exercise costs little. Also I suggest laughing a lot and BE happy !”laughter does good like a medicine!”……..The Bible We are so pressured to stay looking young. We all feel that pressure, don’t we? I get tired of it. Given what I said before, I still think this procedure is unnatural and wrinkles are ok as you get older. You're a beautiful woman and some wrinkles won't change that. Also, skin care, diet, good health, and meditation will take you a long way without all this insult to your system.

I did it a few years ago with a Halo/BBL laser. First two hours were intense while I drove home in Midwest November with the AC on in my van. Yes, I was reevaluating my life, my decisions, and thinking maybe I’ll just grow old instead. Lol😂 after a few days, dark age spots fell off my face in the shower and that made me very happy. I had a big brown spot on my cheekbone and I hated it. I had to get kids to and from school and sit at a basketball practice looking like Pizza face. I was embarrassed by it but it didn’t last long and I was happy with the results. Would I do it again? Yes

If she were truly vain then she wouldn’t have shown herself during the process. She would have had the procedure and then hid and never tell anyone and then show her face when it was all said and done. But she didn’t do that. She showed the process to everyone. The good, bad and the ugly. That’s not vanity.

WHY? You didn’t NEED IT?? I do believe that doing that is part of VANITY. I LIKED that you started the video with the definition of VANE! I haven’t been with you long enough to know you but the little I have seen, I do feel that parts of that definition may apply. My question is, do you STILL have a practice and treat people as an internal medical professional doctor? I purchased your book about your mother. Haven’t read it but I will soon. I’m looking forward to see how your life progresses. I’m going to be 74. I haven’t purchased products. It’s wonderful that you also have researched or hired a team anyway to develop “ketones” to help with ketosis. And I also have to mention your comment about NEEDING TO LOOSE 10 POUNDS, and I think followed with something, paraphrased, like a lot of people think they do. I vote it might be a good idea to hang on to those in the event that you DO become ill. It can buffer a weight loss. I’m not a medical professional and my comments are my OWN, but I’ve lost MANY family and friend members to CANCER and weight loss is part of the diagnosis or the beginning of where to start looking if you have lost weight without trying! I’m just being honest and I welcome anyone wanting to share with me your thoughts, including you, Dr. Boz. I’m still hoping to find out a substitution for sardines if you can’t tolerate the taste when you suggest eating them for a specified length of time. ☺️

A friend who had pregnancy mask did this about 15 years ago or so. I remember it was a huge expense for her. She was a singld parent and her kids were teens. She then could not afford Christmas presents for them. It was sad that she felt it was that important. She had to take a few days off work so no one could see her face. And her pregnancy mask returned fairly quickly. I do understand why people do this. I personally have thought about it. Its too extreme for me. I stick to tretinion cream. Even though we age we still want to look good.
