LeBron and sure haven't been perfect but LeBron has far exceeded the expectations I would have of a 39-year-old and that's coming from someone people tend to say is a harsh critic of his. Of course while they should be held accountable, I think the team around them is more at fault than they are. A lot of fans want Darvin Ham fired. Me personally, I don't think he's done a great job this year but think the problem is much bigger than him. Also, apologies for uploading this late, even after a great win against OKC. Hopefully you still enjoy this and hopefully this video ages poorly. I didn't talk about Christian Wood, but he's actually doing better defensively than anyone would've imagined, but he's still not great. He's just not terrible on that end.

LeBron should go. It's difficult watching him not play defense then complain left right and center, while also holding the ball for too long that the other guys are not in rhythm. This is not a bad roster. They got LeBron his Klutch client coach. There are alleged locker room tensions. Sure it is not helping with him saying "Bronny can play for us". Man. F this guy.

It wasn't bad last year but now this team just looks hopeless. You know how much I hate making excuses for LeBron and definitely don't like how he has the ball so much. I agree it kills rhythm but it is true D-Lo and Reaves just haven't played nearly as well this year when they had the same ball dominant guy that they had last year. I don't think anyone can really make Taurean Prince a better decision maker no matter who it is at this point in his career. I agree LeBron doesn't make his teammates better, something I mentioned in my video on why he's not the GOAT but with all that said, I actually haven't had nearly as much of a problem with him as I did 2 years ago. The fact that he needs a roster overhaul almost every year can be added to the reasons why he's not the GOAT. Some changes here and there with the make up of your team are obviously inevitable, but LeBron has to demand it way more than a GOAT should.

This team is a hard watch. Not a well constructed roster and they are so poorly coached. And whenever they lose it's nothing but excuses, which is not a winning culture

I guess they just happen to run into the better teams at good times as the Clippers and Thunder were playing the first game of a back-to-back when the Lakers beat them.

I think this roster is a poorly assembled team and combined with an inexperienced head coach is a recipe for disaster

It's amazing how this team was actually able to make it to the Conference Finals last year. Last year they actually played with pride but not at all this year.

I couldn't agree more about the banner for winning the in-season tournament. I guess the Lakers raised it in order to help the league promote this insignificant tournament as something "important". But in the process, it was them that became the butt of jokes. You're not just any other team, you're the LAKERS for goodness' sake. ACT like it. You are also right about the foundational problems this team has because of its roster. Problems that make it impossible for the Lakers to be title contenders. Only a magical trade could salvage something this season. But those happen once in a decade - if you're lucky. As far as Ham is concerned, it's true that replacing him as coach without dramatic changes on the roster wouldn't make the Lakers THAT much better. Even if they brought the best coach in the world in his place. BUT ... that is not, and should not be, an excuse for the Lakers to keep such a mediocre, at best, coach. At this point, i don't know why they keep him. What are they waiting for? I don't understand it ...

I feel like Adam Silver made the Lakers do it to make the in season tournament actually have some significance. I'm not against having it as it is a good business move. It's also pretty sad that we're in a time where professional athletes need to be motivated by money which they have way more than enough of anyways to take regular season games when this game is their life. To celebrate with champagne though, I think MJ or Kobe would definitely be all in it to win it but then say F the champagne, let's win what actually matters, then bring out the champagne. Sorry about the audio being distorted at the end though, I should've checked that before uploading. A magical trade like Pau Gasol, if only guys that aren't pick and roll big men and spot up shooters could fit on a team with LeBron. With Kobe, you just need to have thick skin and be determined to win to play with him. Pau was a seamless fit because he was so skilled but just needed Kobe to toughen him up. To add to what I said about Dejounte Murray, my other observation about him when watching the game he hit the game winner in is he needs the ball to be effective and LeBron needs guys who can play off of the ball. At least I don't expect the disaster that Russ was because at Dejounte Murray can shoot but he doesn't play off of the ball.

You must be new here if you really think I have any ability to agree or disagree with a comparison to a soccer team. Also, a lot changed since I made this video.

Honestly i do think that the whole organization is to blame. Starts at the top. I was embarrassed for the lakers die fans. Ever since lebum came the lakers its been sh*t show. Hes not the goat. The lakers should do a rebuild. After this season lebron should just retire and the lakers should rebuild.
@showtimenick824
@showtimenick824 8 месяцев назад
Of course everyone should be held accountable but actually I think AD is the least to blame right now. If there is anything I want him to do more of, it's demand the ball. LeBron hasn't been perfect and true he could be a better leader than letting these guys show bad body language but at 39, he's defied all the odds of Father Time. I agree it's time to rebuild again and I'd hope it's done properly this time unlike from 2014-18, but I'd be shocked if the Lakers go that route.
@RightHandKam

@showtimenick824 yes I'm holding everyone accountable win or lose. This team isn't constructor to win a championship or make the play-in or playoffs. I do hold lebum accountable for having a say and or helping constructed the team and it's not good. If I was the owner I wouldn't go to my star players or players. I'm not running anything by lebron or AD. I give credit to AD for healthy and staying consistent so far. Got another 40+ games left

He had a say in Russell Westbrook and that most certainly never should've happened but I don't think he had a say in letting Caruso walk and I don't think he had a say in who the Lakers brought in at last year's trade deadline or this offseason. Russell Westbrook alone was definitely a fatal mistake and I actually had a little sympathy for him. Not a lot since I didn't like Russ' attitude either but I did believe the whole time that to an extent he was set up to fail. At least LeBron trading for AD worked out but the fact that he gets to have this much control rather than work with what he has and not make everyone around him better, yeah that completely disqualifies him from being the GOAT.
@RightHandKam
@RightHandKam 8 месяцев назад
@showtimenick824 that the only thing that worked was the AD trade. I said before the trade happened that it wasn't wanna work the russ trade. Lebron doesn't work with what he has he traded away the young core. 1 title since he been there in 6 years. Missed the playoffs once or twice. Got bounced from the conference finals which they shouldn't been in the first place. I see what lebron is doing: I played for long a time just look at my stats not my body of work. 4 titles 21 years an he's the goat 🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah right. It's called the eye test

I'd much rather have 6 rings in 14 tries. The 2 with the Wizards, Jordan played for the love of the game and he knew what he was getting himself into by playing for a team that won just 19 games the year before he put the uniform on so I guess we can really say 12 tries. Or Bill Russell, 11 rings in 13 tries, well he was injured during his second try.

I don’t think your team is that bad. Your team is limited defensively, because Lebron defensive assignment is roam on a side of the paint, and watch. And hope the rest of the team boxes out so he can catch a rebound. He’s not “crashing the boards” but the numbers look good. But your lines not being consistent could be due to Lebron’s load management. Look at the matchups you’ve played twice and one with and without Lebron, you do better without. I think you beat San Antonio without Lebron, and lost with Lebron. I think most of your team and bench be great on other teams. Brandon Ingram was “bum” when LeBron when he was part of Lebron cast. If he constantly needs help, he’s the problem.
@showtimenick824
@showtimenick824 7 месяцев назад
Not that bad in the last 3 games but when I made this video, they were pretty bad. Hardly anyone crashes the boards these days. Not just LeBron. Yet he averages 7.2 rebounds per game. 70% of rebounds today are uncontested and it's one of my biggest gripes with the modern NBA. LeBron's actually played 49 out of 56 games this season. He definitely has load managed to an extent this year but he missed way more games in previous years and quit while the team still had a chance to at least make the play in tournament. How he constantly needs help is just proof that he's not the GOAT. Michael Jordan worked with what he was given and made his teammates better.
