The Latch Drone is such an interesting weapon. First off, it *is* a weapon, and it *can* miss its target, making both you and them very sad. It also counts as a launcher weapon, meaning you can technically combine it with the Stormbringer pilot talent for some shenanigans. Knocking an ally away 3 spaces or knocking everyone around them away can save their life, plus it will still tick up the big tier III part of that talent.

Cable winch is excellent to increase speed of an ally. Big slow mechanics now get moved at a speed of 6 but you need to add synthetic muscle netting from Blackbeard.

Cable Winch doesn't really need Synthetic Muscle Netting because you can drag a total of double your size. This means even a basic Lancaster can drag two size 2 allies, even a size 1 frame can drag a size 2

Real stretch of a question, but do the rules state a player can only deploy a single mech at a time? If not could you slap an NHP in the Lancaster with the mount system and use it as a personal horse? I'm sure it goes against the spirit of the rules, but would be a heck of a loophole 😂

One mech per pilot, plus if an NHP gets damaged they could cascade which can be super dangerous so you gotta be careful

Fun idea! If you were playing with less than 4 players as a GM I might allow it! Especially if it's a "reserve" - a single use resource.

Real men ride each other! There's no shame in being the horse that can also attack and/or hack to set up your rider! Or you can run it alongside the Black Thumb pilot talent so that your pilot can ride it like an actual giant robot horse, I suppose...
