As noted by some viewers, made a slight mistake on MULE harness part which 'only' let the player carry total size - 1/2 worth of mechs. it would be nice to correct this if annotation function didn't get removed...

I set up a combat medic who pilots a Lancaster for my first character. I gave it Fomorian Frame and also specced into the first license of Blackbeard to gain synthetic muscle netting. A size 3 Lancaster can carry a combined size 2 and 1/2. Synthetic muscle netting doubles your lifting capacity. I can carry up to a combined size 5 now.

Unfortunately "Carrying" isn't the same as "Lifting". Though it does help with the Cable Winch System.

Can you just tow around a Barbarossa as it’s charging it’s lazor?

@@ijustreview I believe that the rules state the Barbarossa can't move at all while charging, so I don't think so, but I'd have to check the rulebook

You're right. Even inflicted movement resets the Apocalypse rail back to start of it's charge. However, if you were to tow him AFTER he takes a shot that would make for a great repositioning strategy, as Barbarossa frame is one slow motherfucker.

I'm starting my first campaign soon and my character will be driving a Lanny. Gonna dip into Horus licenses for shenanigans and give the team Hydra pilot piggyback rides. The board will be under our complete control.

I wanna see a horus lancaster variant that “upgrades” damaged mechs with weird additions that cant be re printed or restocked until you roll it again on the field upgrade table. XD.

That's not a piece of terrain, Is a Everest mech! And, the mule harness Is actually 1/2 size less. Size 1 only a single 1/2 actor, size 2 1 and 1/2 and size 3 a total of size 2+1/2

I absolutely love these videos. Super informative, and the edits are top notch. Thanks for giving examples of the impact some of these abilities would have a in battle, because sometimes its hard get that from just reading them straight from the rulebook.

Doesn't MULE only let you carry your size -1/2? So a size 2 can carry 3 size 1/2, and 1 size 1 and a size 1/2.

If mounting a Lancaster counted as involuntary movement, voluntary movement, or none of the above? Because if its not... I can have a Barbarosa charging an apocalypse rail, provided I have the Fomorian frame! Even if It's illegal to move, you can still stand still with the Barbarosa and give him soft cover when charging the railgun. This will be genius!

@@TV-qm8ob “you can carry riders equal to your size minus 1/2.” Unfortunately, there’s no way to get bigger than size 3 or to shrink Barborosa. It is really good for other mechs that get benefits by not moving, like Napoleon or Swallowtail, though.

@@TV-qm8ob I’m playing a Drake with the Lancaster’s mount in my campaign. Being able to hold up a big cover shield for the invisible Swallowtail on my back is a really good combo so far lol. The winch system lets me drag the Drake’s Shield Generator around, too.
