@@admangoe The irony of a progressive with no ability to look inward even attempting to troll in a sea of logic proves the premise of a nonexistent sense of humour all too well. Go away lefty. Isn't there a Michael Obama film festival playing somewhere? (Notice male spelling of first name.) Leave the trolling to the professionels. I mean, do we tell you how to spirit cook or kidnap children for pedophilic purposes? Or how to do a satanic vote stealing spell? No! We don't. So don't come a trollen' in our backyard then.
A couple years ago, in-laws from California stayed at our house for a night. I knew they were very left, and I’m sure they knew I was not, to say the least. My wife just asked that I not bring up Trump or politics. They came, had dinner, and my kids were playing in the living room. I noticed immediately that they were staring at my daughter’s dollies, and my son was destroying his legos. There was a cross on the wall, a gun in glass on the mantle. I could tell they were uncomfortable, so I tried to lighten up the situation. My kids are howling with laughter as I pretended to be Dolly’s dad (did it all the time) and I heard the husband say it is a bit offensive to teach my daughter to listen to the patriarchy via the dolly. I held my annoyance down, and the fun was sucked right out of the room. They don’t care that my daughter was screaming in laughter, that’s not what play time is for in their minds. That’s why liberal kids are so dour and sad.
'Those are kids having *fun* ? Nonono, they have to be in isolation chambers in straightjackets and locked to the wall with an ipad in front of them that feeds them our ideology 24/7, or else they'll learn to support the patriarchy! They can't enjoy themselves! Evil bigoted father.."
Not to mention ANY psychologist will declare that no laughter, joy and humour is a sign of abnormal psychology. Which also is backed by the recent numbers regarding the millennial percentages of mental health diagnostics. It's actually frightening when you think of it. They have been indoctrinated and social media raised and nursed since birth to the point of mental illness.
Conservatives are the only people I know that are willing to laugh at themselves. There are liberal and even a few leftist comedians that I like. Any liberal or leftist acquaintances I have all hate any comedian that makes fun of them. “When the King is such a tyrant that he kills his jester, you know the evil King is in charge.” -Jordan Peterson
A declining or even non-existent capacity for humor is an obvious symptom of an overly-rigid political system. The Soviet Union couldn't take a joke either.
I think the left has owned Hollywood and made fun of conservatives for so long that we had to learn to laugh at ourselves. Now that it's reversed, they don't understand it and freak out.
@@gone5815 Why are you even going to a Ben Shapiro video? You know you're just going to need several hours in a safe space with NPC deprogramming when you're finished.
@@smartazz61 thanks for proving my point. Not once did I say I was a lefty but you're so sensitive that you found it necessary to reply and pretend that only the right is funny.
I have been watching and enjoying your show since Dec 2018. You're sense of humor, being funny, your handsome face and intelligence is out of this world. I am glad I found your website. I seldom, even stopped watching Ben Shapiro after numerous times he criticized my President Trump, he is condescending.
Hi Michael. Big fan of your talks. Have not read through all the comments but just to clarify. Neither Denmark, Norway or Sweden er socialist countries. We have market economies but do have many social benefits which we pay for through tax. The usual tax rate in Denmark is 40% not 60% (which is the progressive tax tier). On top of that we pay 25% VAT and a ton of duties on most products. Keep up the good work and keep USA free.
24:40 - "The more absurd the fanatic's conviction, less aware of reality or capable comedy he becomes." Nailed it. Ideological fanaticism is inversely promotional to a sense of humor.
Humor for a conservative is when my 13 year old dramatically said "my glasses broke. Now I'm blind." I replied... "You're not blind. You just see the world more fuzzy right now...... Go get the tape and you'll have to be patient until we get new ones."
Joe Rogan is not moderate, hes just a man with the hobbies of a conservative and the mind of a 17 year old marxist. Homie said he doesn't get the point of countries.... And people just nod their heads and act like that idea isnt super nutty. I know hes a comedian, but when he starts explaining things through his stoner logic, things go from moderate to Lennon pretty quickly lmao. I should add that i still love him
I question whether or not the last guy that asked a question is truly a registered Republican. The fact that he thought it was odd that Jim Acosta would get his press pass taken away strikes me as pretty strange. And by the way while I'm talking about Jim Acosta, does everyone know that Jim Acosta's real first name is Abelio?
Donald Trump gave one of the best speeches of his career. It was 30 minutes of great Oration, but in the middle, he said he would send terrorists to hell, and they would suffer forever, and that is a long time! He obviously didn't understand Eternity being a bit longer than a long time. Christopher Hitchens was the best debater of all time. He always made his work funny.
**Their**. To be fair, screaming (especially at the sky) is their favourite form of communication and it's hard to scream long sentences. That's why the NPC meme is so fitting.
Amen Mike!!! The Bible says, A merry heart giveth a cheerful countenance and doeth good like a medicine. ACCOSTTING ACCOSTA/ BUMBLING BAFOON!! You went out on a HIGH NOTE!!
I think some on the left argue that what drives them is hope. To which I'd counter and say that they're relying on false hopes and that their hopes are likely not grounded. First off, the constant push for soc!al!sm. Do they really have hope that it can and would work? If so, how is that hope derived? How about the climate? Do they really believe that their recommendations would work? Where is this empty hope coming from?
Re: the second to last interchange, I, nobody, recommend two very short reads. The Gospel of Thomas, and The Law, by Frederic Bastiat. Complex doctrine and dogma are tedious, and these two short works summarize the arguments pretty well, IMHO.
I'm learning Hebrew on Duolingo and Trump has been really helpful. Covfefe is similar sounding to *glove* "kfafa" and MAGA = MAGAfiyim (boots). A learn Hebrew with Trump book would be hilarious. 😃
Love to hear speech of Michael Knowles Universe support and lov it Instead see in negative let's see in positively to start new beginning of the best Khalifah ❤️🌹🌟☀️ Cant wait to see the left hv beautiful smile with his sense tht mr.right soon She is happy with her own site for the world by nur Muhammad is the one who have powerful songs written by holly spirit of heaven ❤️🌹
If you want to look deeper into your faith as a Christian, please look into one of the greatest Apologetic, christian speakers of our time: William Lane Craig. Watch his debates. Very, very good and strong reasonable arguments.
At nearly 44:00 -- seriously. Never heard this comment by/about Trump (?) before. He's never had a beer? "Only good thing about me", eh? Well, given his "no filter" problem, that's a seriously self-aware insight I would not have assumed. Go figure -- good on him. (I notice this partly because I am on the lookout for signs of stability in the Donald 😏, and also partly because I have maintained my own alcohol-free policy since youth, not for moral or health reasons, but, as I say, because I have not one inhibition to spare....)
The only thing I ever agreed with Bette Midler about is when she said,"F*** 'em if they can't take a joke. Really wish she would just shut up and sing.
To the fella looking for some quality left leaning people... (note I have had people disagree with me that these people are left leaning at all)... Tim Pool, Matt Christianson(en), maybe Dave Rubin... used to be a lefty, but feels the left left him... his core views have not changed. Also think that Thom Hartman often has some quality discussion to contribute, and he is super lefty... good for true balance.
Hey, that was actually me! Thanks for the suggestions. I wouldn’t call Dave Rubin a leftist, at least, not in today’s climate. I’ll be sure to check out the other guys.
Michael Scheske oh, wow, I am glad you found my response! I hope it helps... yes, I agree with you about Dave Rubin... defiantly not a true lefty, anymore. I am thrilled you found my comment... I was really encouraged by your question. I have believed for many years now that it is important to seek answers or clarity, or insight from many perspectives. It can be a huge challenge to find quality thoughtfulness these days, and I was glad to see someone else seeking it.
John Leguizamo failed to make me or his audience laugh in his Netflix show. It all seemed forced and boring, it was a perfect example of what he's talking about.
While I agree with Michael on a number of things from this video, we disagree on one of his last statements. St. Anselm's ontological argument is compelling on the surface, but has some major flaws. It still is one of the best attempts at logically deducing a higher power (of which I'm am not denying the existence), but if has detractors who give refutations that take apart the argument's line of reasoning. Personally the first time I ever heard the argument I thought it was brilliant, and exactly the kind of reasoning towards which theologians should be striving.
I love it objective truth it comes down to the very basic fundamentals there is no his truth or your truth there's truth and anything outside of that is not truth there is no third side across the board. Right and wrong, good and bad, up and down, in and out, yes and no, fact and fiction, it's a two way not the new way. The only way to change that code is to change the fundamentals of mathematics and therefore changing all physics and that changes everything physical and material in the world perhaps the universe including changing the dimension in which you live and cern isn't even powerful enough to do that
