As a KC fan, if we don’t threepeat this is the outcome I’d most like to see. Imagine if the Lions beat a 19-0 KC team to stop the threepeat. That’d be legendary
@@user-gt4xg7el8nthe Lions have 3 elite defensive linemen out injured... John Cominski, Aiden Hutchinson, and Davenport. So if they was healthy there would be the sound of CRICKETS. So that's coming next year also with whoever we get before the trade deadline. These so called analysts don't know the Lions
@@BostonBori92literally week 1 of the previous season. KC was missing Kelce and Jones and while I know Detroit was missing guys too, Kelce and Jones are literally the second and third most important players on that team by a big margin. They also won by one point and a third of their points came from KT going on the legendary meme run before Will Levis popularized it so that’s hardly a relevant comparison of either team to how they’d look in a SuperBowl rematch
@deemity7557 That week 1 win was the driving force for the resurgence of this Lions franchise that your seeing now idk what your talking about 😂 they ain't scared of KC just like they ain't scared of the 49ers in spite of the L last year...they showed they can play with the best your just not thinking logically if you dont think that has an effect Has Lamar beat Mahomes? What about Josh Allen?
@@deemity7557 you had to type out a paragraph to justify a chiefs loss...says enough right there. this lions team is 2x the team they were at start of last season.
The same argument made for the Kansas city's offense getting better as their rookies develop can be made for Detroit's defense. Our secondary is extremely young and will only get better.
Lions are the best. But KC is KC and will be there in the end. In a given critical moment, I think most people, even me, a Lions fan, would take the Chiefs to do the right thing and make "the" play over the Lions. But you cannot deny based on how both are playing that Detroit is the better team. I would love to see them play, hopefully in Feb :)
NBA 2004. Lakers CLEAR FAVORITE. LOST TO THE PISTONS in the FINALS 4-1. NFL 2024. Chiefs the CLEAR FAVORITE. Will Lose to the DETROIT LIONS in the SUPER BOWL.. Let’s take it into consideration, 16-0 PATRIOTS lost to a 10-6 Giants team. NOTHING BUT #GRIT
@@daquaylenavie3740okay, Detroit was playing with rookies, and backups in the defensive backfield. How many of Detroits starters are starters today? Mahomes couldn’t beat Detroit with scrubs in the defensive backfield
I remember when Detroit being called the worst team in the NFL p’ me off. Now being called the 2nd best p’ me off.😂😂😂 I thought I would never live long enough to hear this!!
I agree with #mina. Chiefs defense is aggressive like Championship teams. Only halfway. Just warning up. Trade deadline hasn't passed yet. Teams can change, injuries etc..
I think the debate is kind of futile anyway. Are the lions playing better football right now? Yes absolutely. And so much more fun to watch. We won’t know who would win unless they play 🤷🏻♀️
Yeah, let’s not forget that Goff threw for 85 yards last week and they still scored 52 points in 3 quarters. Talk about complete team and when one aspect falls short, the other picks up. Hell, I think the Vikings would beat the Chiefs. I think there are at least 7 teams in the NFL that could likely beat KC in a best of 5 scenario. Don’t think I can fairly say the same against Detroit.
Remember when the Lions beat the Chiefs in the first game last year? How everyone said it was an asterisk game? That it didn't reslly count? Can't wait for the Lions to best the Chiefs in February and hear the excuses KC fans come up with.
Let's just consider the fact that the Chiefs have not faced an offense like the Lions. And when they do, you'll see who the better team is, and it ain't close. Lions also have the best offensive line in the NFL, so........Chiefs defense may not look as good as you think
Champs are the champs till beaten. Nuff said!! HOWEVER, since the Lions beat them, they are 20-7 including the playoffs. Since that season opening win vs KC, the 🦁's have entered Final Four status, and currently is the game EVERYBODY wants to see in the next SB. Why? Both teams play hard, play to win, are creative and are fun to watch. And they can both score!!! All flowers and respect to KC...but that was "then", and this is "now"!! And the 24 season SB championship 🏆 is still up for grabs. And the Pat's went 16-1 in 2007, just saying...🤔😜 #313GRIT🦁
Stephen A is the same person who said last week that the Lions are a better team than the Cheifs. After the lions hang 52 points to the titans, now he says the Chiefs are better than the lions lol. This guy does not know anything about football.
Are we talking about the same Chiefs that barely beat the lowly Raiders last week 27-20? And the only teams they have beaten with a winning record are the Ravens (a good team) and the Falcons (a not so good team). They should have blown out those other teams, but they didn't. The only decisive win was against the more lowly Saints 26-13. The most points they've put up is 28. You better have more than that against Detroit this year. As for their defense, same story. They have faced one good offense (Ravens). And Jackson is so spooked by Mahomes, he'll never beat him.
Chiefs defense have went up against a lot of elite offenses over the past 2 years they haven’t given up more than 28 pts since the SB against the eagles.
@@blick5511 There is no looking deeper than that, they're barely scraping by these bad teams. Patrick Mahomes has more Ints than Tds, their defense is their strongest asset
Lions don’t give a damn about what the chiefs have done. We aren’t scared and playing them isn’t going to make us look at anything different. In the words of Dan Campbell “I don’t care if you got one ass cheek and 4 toes, I will beat your ass”
What are you talking about. The Lions literally won their game last year and they won in the preseason this season as well for what’s that worth. Some of yall are loons😂
Do you people remember Detroit Beat Mahomes , and the Lions are 10 times better now, then they were then. The chiefs are barely getting by. Yes they have figured out how to get the job done, but again, who have they played.
Y’all have lost your best individual player since then and our run defense is much better this year than last. Besides, you’re acting like you didn’t win by 1 point, without Kelce and Jones, and with Kadarius gifting yall a pick 6. Make it to the Bowl and beat us, then talk your talk😂💍💍💍
@@hermar3656 last year? beat the SB champs in week 1 in their home stadium, won the division with a better record (12-5) than KC (11-6), & made it to the NFC championship game for the first time in 30 yrs
"The Lions didn't have Jameson Williams" 😂😂😂😂 ok, now I know Orlovsky is debating for debating's sake, there's no way you just compared Jameson to Chris Jones AND Travis Kelce as an equivalent loss
