Gonna be real here I didn’t know or care one bit about this when it was revealed but the community’s sheer joy and hype makes me wanna play this game day 1
As someone who’s younger and didn’t get the chance to experience these games in their prime I’m excited to play these games that some of my favorite fighting game channels hold to such high regard. Even if it’s like basically near impossible to close the gap on in terms of skill online, would just be fun to try and play with my friends ☺️
Nah man, I’ve been playing MVC since 2005, and I’ve never been good at it but the game is so good it didn’t matter. The music, the characters quotes and just the sheer energy of those games is so infectious. You will have fun 🎉

That's still cool. I picked Taskmaster as a returning character after all. I just think Capcom would kill it with a modern day Juggernaut in a vs game.

Pyron is an amazing choice, he was the final boss in fighting jam and was playable also so definitely in the realm of possibilities! if I had my choices I mean firstly we need Cyclops back in the mix like what in the world? secondly I need She-Hulk back she was insanely fun to play and swaggy af. Last Mahvel pick I've always thought Mystique would be the most interesting choice cool and simple design with a hella complex moveset borrowing moves from other characters/moves they don't have/or even into characters not featured in the roster to give more to players and add insane variety to her kit. when we get into Capcom it's legit gonna be Maki every single time, M. Bison cuz again wtf guys, and Trish please please please

No offense to Capcom, it’s not the 90s. Marvel has more than enough popular characters to carry their own fighting game. Just start a new Marvel series.
They do but the series so far has kind of branded an identity that has quite a scale that trying to revert back to only marvel is a hard readjustment similar to how a x-men vs street fighter 2 can’t happen because later stuff went beyond its concept and presentation. There have been marvel only fighting games ignoring super heroes but they kind of just don’t leave the mark

@@wt7553 consumers wouldn’t be asking that they would be like, “yeah this is cool, but what mvc does is more exciting” with more variety in the roster and unlike some other crossover fighting games mvc has basically trademarked to high regard you can’t revert it, it’s like if the next entry of smash gets a new spin-off series that’s essentially the same game more or less but just based around 1 Nintendo IP, it wouldn’t be bad but it’s a step down with what ultimate had achieved
to be fair, in defense of the punisher(never thought I would say that line) X-Men:COTA and Marvel Superheros aren't mvc games since they only focus on marvel, but they're part of the collection. I'm guessing since they're all marvel games developed by capcom they were added to the collection. I'm gonna buy this game on steam, ps4(even though I haven't turned on my ps4 in years) and my brother's switch so capcom knows we all love this franchise. marvel: The Punisher, Daredevil, Hyperion capcom: Leon, Jin Saotome, Captain Commando.(I know two of them already appear in the past but I really liked them so I would be 100% done if they reappear again).

I already pre-ordered my Switch and PS4 copies, plus I'm getting ALL of the digital versions!! This is THE MOST pivotal moment as a gamer I can think of, where it's important to vote with our wallets. I BEEN ready for this!!! I pour some liquor out to my Xbox brethren left out the party tho :( I do agree MVCI ain't a bad game. I still bought it because it's fun and I like to have the complete physical collection of the franchise. Other than suffering graphically, the roster felt too similar to MVC3 and not enough new blood. I think Killmonger being in MVC4 would be dope and likely. Besides Michael B. Jordan champing for the return of MVC2, the director of Street Fighter 6 Takayuki Nakayama said that Killmonger would make a great fit for Street Fighter 6. So he's at least in the conversation somewhere. My wishlist of characters for MVC4 are Linn Kurosawa (Alien Vs. Predator Capcom arcade game), Falcon or Wang-Tang (Power Stone {A Power Stone character in MVCI was such a missed opportunity}), and the MVC1 Ryu that switches between Ken and Akuma playstyles for Capcom. For Marvel I want Blade, Miles Morales Spider-Man, and Shang-Chi.
I just bought battle network collection yesterday cuz its on sale and exe and bass would be amazing !! Leon is a must. Luke is probably gonna make it since hes the poster boy for sf6. I hope we get a stage with grigori from dragons dogma. Marvel is would love to see silver surfer, daredevil, rogue , captain marvel, carnage. Safe start

It’s a dream come true this is a big deal mc4 is now possible same with capcom vs snk maybe rival schools 👀 but in order to get these this needs to do well

my favorite capcom characters are Zero and Guy. For Marvel I think it is time for Fantastic Four I would start with Mr. Fanstastic and have him be the “Dhalsim Function” Mrs. Invisible I would make her X-Factor allow her to actually disappear and fight like 90s Mortal Kombat The Thing would be a hybrid between 90s MvC Zangief and Hulk. In the lore I am not sure who is faster Hulk or Thing, but this could be like a Ryu and Ken or Nash and Guile where they share moves but the style is totally different. The Human Torch will want to stay in the air (and MvC is the perfect place) He can have a special move that puts him in flight that would give him a whole new set of normals. A “dive kick” only from his flight which would make him a proverbial stance character. Lastly, each move Super-Skrull used will return. So his inferno super will be for Human Torch. His command grab will be for Mr. Fantastic and so on
If the Sales numbers are right for Capcom on this, they definitely will release another collection, and maybe as you said, a 4th MvC! It's sad that Darkstalkers Collection didn't do well sales-wise, I did buy the freaking physical for my PS3 from Japan, I love Vampire series so much! If there's a Collector's Edition of this I'll be buying it no question, I already bought the Fighting Legends Pack for the previous collection, I freaking love it!
Just counting characters who haven’t been in any MVC games: Marvel: Falcon Mr. Fantastic (whole F4 really) Daredevil Capcom: Nero (either DMC 4 or 5 version) Lady (again, any of her appearances) Ed (SF6 version as he’s my main in that game)
Of course we didn't buy old Darkstalkers collection... BECAUSE WE ALREADY HAD THOSE GAMES ! (for the most part) If they did a new one, it'd have sold better than their f#cking collection. They'd better do a MvC4 whether this collection sells well or not !
I wanted DarkStalkers vs Guilty Gear, so yea I'm a part if the minority which I supported the DarkStalkers collection on every available gaming hardware from a while back in hopes of a collab between ArcSysWrks n Capcom. Hopefully one day
Man I was so excited when they announced this. These games haven't been available to play for decades! Last time I owned Xmen vs SF was that shitty PS1 version. When I found out this was a thing I was ready to give Capcom my money day one for it! Especially if it has a physical edition like their last fighting game collection. But sadly I won't be purchasing this. Not because I don't want to but because Capcom decided they were going to skip the platform that I play on. Seriously gutted by that news because I own MVC2 XBLA edition for the 360 which sadly isn't backwards compatible, so sadly out of luck on that. Capcom decided that as an xbox owner my money simply isn't good enough. Luckily for me Xbox is an amazing emulator so I'll just have to play them that way I guess. I was holding out for these kind of collections because I didn't want to go through the hassle of setting up emulators but it is what it is I guess.
The Vampire: Darkstalker collection you're talking about was only release for Japan in 2005 for the PS2, it never was released to the US or EU which is considered the best collection at the time for that franchise. Then later on Capcom announce and release Darkstalker: Resurrection which came out on March, 12, 2013 for the Playstation Network in NA , then the day after it got release for the Xbox live arcade. The JP version was also released the day after the Xbox live arcade on the same year with digital download being available on the PSN way later on April (weird, they release this game 1 day after the other instead on the same day). The Darkstalker Resurrection is the game that no one wanted because it was an absolute piece of shit of a collection, it only came with 2 games of the the Darkstalkers games which is Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge and the Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire. What Capcom did is pull a BS scam with that thing and because of it the franchise fail, whoever came up with that idea i hope it got fired because that was so stupid it still baffles me when i think about it.( they should've ported the PS2 version instead) Now we got the Capcom Fighting Collection which brought back all the Darkstalker game plus extra other games (THANK YOU GOD!!, i was so worry that Capcom would try to do the same shit again like they did with the DR version) and im very happy with it. Now for the MvsCC at first i though to buy all the versions both physical and digital to show support, however I've decided to go with the physical switch version instead and double dip on it (one to play and one to keep in box). My reasoning to this is because if i buy the PS4 version either for collection purposes or not i would have to be concern of the possibility of disc scratching or rotting on the long run, specially the rotting because sadly is a thing that once it start i cannot be stop and no way to fix it which is terrible for preservation. As for the digital variants of it, i am fully skipping it because of this trend that companies seems to want to do that can pull the plug and remove it in any moment and losing it without our knowledge even though you pay for it at full price one should be considering the option of digital version for this or any game not as a purchase but as a renting at this point. Specially the games are about to become quite pricey one has to manage their money and see what you can keep without them taking it away from you.
I just going to buy the collection because I like those games, just as I did with the previous one and the Megaman X and Zero collections. I don't care so much if a new game comes out or not.
Children of the Atom . My 15 bday my mom got me the sega Saturn . I went n got children of the atom. Say what you want but the Saturn was a beast on them 2d fighting games. Str8 arcade to home port. This was wild to me at the time …then street fighter alpha 2

Hey I hope you realize that there was an actual teaser for a marvel versus Capcom 4 I think at the end of last year beginning of this year so that's going to happen, no need for speculation you should look it up

@@nicky923nkI am wondering he might be talking about a deadpool comic issue where he mentions him wanting to be in MVC4, years back a similar thing happend where he said “capcom put me in MVC” and they did so, that’s not a confirmation but just a funny gag that kind of plays that idea, but it’s nice to hear of this aware possibility
