I am planning on buying this car hopefully in August! My friend is planning on buying a Mitsubishu Eclipse from the 90s as well. I had an NA as a first car, but the engine started to knock 500 miles in lol. Be sure to properly check the miata ur buying if ur just getting into the car scene. Other than that, it was, and still is a blast to drive! The video quality is awesome! You guys deserve more subs
Have a 1990 1.6 with 150k miles on it. no powered windows or steering and the suspension couldn't be rougher but I would recommend it to anyone. you don't notice the lack of powered steering after you get it up past 10 mph or 16 kmph.

Love my miata as well. Got the car as my first car and enjoy every mile (or km in my case) in it! Sure it's had it's fair share of maintenance required, but ay, I'm trying to keep this one forever so that's worth it! Only and biggest downside is when there's this amazing weather calling for a topless drive but then having to pick up multiple friends to go somewhere, preventing me from enjoying the nice 2 seater. :') Besides that, It's a pure joy! Oh, and the rust... I got lucky on mine but damn, you gotta take care of them real nice :')
