I’ve always felt a bit out of place. It wasn’t until I found paganism, witchcraft, and an all around nature worship way of life that I finally felt myself. However it is a bit lonely because I don’t really have any friends who shares my beliefs.
i think to not experience loneliness you just need to create stronger bonds.. i haven´t felt that feeling since i became serious in my sun worship.. maybe at night time i might still feel it, fortunately i sleep then :) basically i´m friends with the whole forest (maybe not the vampires, the insects) but it´s surface level friendship, only the deeper connections can offer power similar to close human relationships. "you can´t hurry love" also i want to say that traditionally here it was never the same spirit or deity.. even with things like sun and moon, it was instead a particular being that was living in those places (that you had made a personal connection with). the only way to get the same helper was to inherit it from another witch (which did happen, usually it was in the shape of a song). the traditions were very singing based here, each helper spirit had their own songs (that they sang "as the spirit", in 1st person, which probably explains some of the later misconceptions, the devil nonsense). or it was different kinds of songs, there´s calling songs, that describe where the spirit lives, why it´s being called, and then the spirit´s own songs (that are similar to personal songs, sang in 1st person, that everyone had). what some people miss it that they were VERY practical.. each helper had a specific purpose, for example to rise to the heavens the witch called "six geese helpers".. you know why six, because the witch became the seventh :) the division to upper, middle and lower world witches.. to my understanding, all it means is where the helpers lived (because all three classes worked for the common good of the tribe, just specialized in different things).

My Mom was a witch but a bad witch that puts cures on people to do harm to them. For my son and I we practice white magic and do good to people. Yes being a witch is lonely but I have my son. So we can talk about things like magic, spells, cleansing the house with sage..... When I was little I was sort of a loner and not like the other kids in the family and now I know why. I'm a witch. A good one 😊 I loved walking in the woods and collecting things in the woods.

Ich denke auch dass Einsamkeit ein notwendiger Part des Weges der selbstheilung und selbstwerdung ist und es ist wirklich schwer seine Leute zu finden... und nicht als alte Hexe allein in ihren Lebkuchenhaus im Wald zu enden 😅🙈 wobei das auch seinen Reiz hätte 😂 ... Wie auch immer fühle ich das Thema sehr nach, auch wenn ich, wenn ich mich mit mir und der Natur verbunden fühle, mich nicht einsam fühle, - wäre eine Austausch und eine Hexen-Freundin manchmal schon sehr schön. ❤ danke für die Anregungen.

I really appreciate how open and honest you are. I know other RU-vid witches talk about being their authentic selves but it still feels like there is a veil pulled over these people and they are a prettier version of themselves. Even with your beautiful aesthetic additions you seem so very genuine, and that is the most beautiful part. I don't know if this is just a personal feeling for me and it could also be the Autism in me just relating easier to a fellow Autistic. Also this is how I feel less lonely as a witch, watching or following social media witches. Yes, it would be ideal to have an in person group or even just another one fellow witch but I have tried and the community around me that is at all Pagan or witchy is just not one I fit into, so online is my solace, for now. Connecting with spirits or deities is also a great way to feel less alone, we exist in a vast universe with an unimaginable amount of other beings and energy. Being alone is an important part of the witches journey though, and is vital in finding your own way of practicing. For me that was what drew me to witchcraft, the ability to find my own way, community would be great but that is really just a bonus. 💚🧡

I also tried out different covens for example in my area but none of them were fit. But I found other interests that I can share in groups (like my shamanic practitioners group, herbal walks, etc.) so even if there is not really a lot of Witches that I can personally connect to here, these help tremendously! Same here. I am definitely solitary & live far away from others. I too have found company on here and instagram. I’d love to personally get together with a few other people who practice witchcraft. I’ve been in a year long zoom class, learned so much and am already sad it’s ending because that gave me some almost in person feels. I don’t know what the solution is except to move & that’s not likely in my time of life.
