The Promised Neverland is one of the greatest anime to come out of the last decade. With it's unique setting, lovable characters, and incredibly intelligent writing, The Promised Neverland quickly became one of my favorite anime. But beyond what was offered in The Promised Neverland's manga, what the TPN anime brought to the table was cinematography and soundtrack that perfectly encapsulated the tone needed to make this twist of a horror anime to work. The Promised Neverland may not be considered a horror to some, but in my eyes, the fear and tension it's able to orchestrate in nearly every episode is well deserving of that status.
