Thx for your L322 videos, after watching many of them, we decided to switch our '99 110 Td5 defender to L322. Right now Def is fully rigged for overlanding, with made interior and roof top tent. But it's too slow and uncomfortable for far distance 2 weeks travels. So, defender goes back to garage and we are looking for l322 with 8 gearbox :) But still have no idea, which engine, TDV8 or petrol ones.

Slight change of engine plans, just arrived home with 2007 l322 4.2 Supercharged. Got one in mint condition, well maintained and with documented history. One again, big thanks for inspiring me.
Keep up the videos brother. Love your take on the L322. I’ve got a 2004 RR HSE that I use for overlanding/off-road and a 2009 RR SC as a garage princess.
great detail about the build dates of the two. I agree the L322 is the best looking RR, boxy and very stylish and capable. Good luck with this project!
Definitely buy a GAP IID Bluetooth diagnostic. Best piece of kit ever to read codes, clear codes, change settings etc. More than happy to impart my knowledge on the 4.4 with you.
Hey there. Always been a massive Range Rover fan on account of my dad owning a whole bunch of these over the years since they originally came out. About to make the plunge myself so I am a bit curious what bits and pieces you've had fixed and looked over after you took ownership. Shame on that damage, just saw that after commenting!
Nothing major, wear and tear items you’d expect on a 11 year old vehicle. Compressor was on it’s way out, replaced recently, front ball joints / steering arms, a leaking turbo oil pipe, the heated seat fan. I had a adaptive suspension / shock sensor fail, cheap fix. The previous owner had a lot of things break in 3 years, both turbos needed replacing, plus both EGR values, common problem at 100k miles, and a front strut / air bag. So, most of the things that could go wrong, did, and were fixed by a LR dealer. Get one with as much service history as possible, especially covering the past 3-4 years. The rest has been me updating it and modifying it. So far, been reliable. Like any car this age, this complex, stay on top of the oil changes, flush the gearbox, service it on a regular basis, check the air bags for cracks and wear, and replace things before they break.
