I have always preferred congregational participation in singing rather than Choirs. Sadly, most modern-day, manmade churches are mainly interested in promoting entertainment and talent. TBT
After 57 of my 63 years being mired in reformed Presbyterian churches, and after listening to this, I thank the LORD he brought me out of this! Micah 6:8!
I must say. I agree with Lig Duncan, that we should spend more time with the early church fathers. They belong to us. They were our brethren. Their history is our history. Our history does not start with the reformation, but goes all the way back to the first century and beyond. I believe that we short change our children when we don’t include them in our history. Teach the reformation and the early church fathers.
Reformed theology. Where the rubber meets the road. When you realize God does the choosing. Thank you Father, Son and Holy Spirit! 🙏♥️🙏 Romans 9:10-16 English Standard Version 10 And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, 11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad-in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls- 12 she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” 14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion,[a] but on God, who has mercy. John 6:44 English Standard Version 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
