Thanks Dennis for the SHOUT OUT for us Phlebs. We are so many times neglected when it comes to doing a good job and the importance of it but certainly reminded if we do the slightest mistakes. I've been doing this for 25 years and been reading your magazine and your updates and informative info for that long. Thankyou for your dedication!!

Odd, you would think that something this important would be great for phlebotomists to just HAVE, not have to find it and pay for it.

We agree everyone should have a copy. The standard referred to in this video, however, is published by CLSI, a not-for-profit organization. So they have to cover their expenses in producing such a standard. I can attest that they flew many people in for two meetings, each lasting several days, and conducted well over a dozen teleconferences. But it would be great if a governmental agency, like NIH, CMS, or similar would want to place a copy in every lab and school.
