I will never understand the hate for Theory he’s actually really talented can sell his ass off, a punchable heel, and is one of the best in ring workers on the roster every match has been FANTASTIC! And I’ll say this it’s not only Vince who likes Theory a lot of the higher ups in the company like Theory.

My "Theory" is People probably hate him cause his push came out of nowhere and he didn't earn it. Back in the day Vince didn't just give guys main event pushes did he? They had to earn it if I'm remembering right. But these days it's like "Hey I wanna push this guy. He reminds me of Cena" How? Cause he's jacked? But I probably wasn't tuning in much around the time he got taken on as Vince's protege so I don't know. Did it come out of nowhere?

WWE fans: WWE needs to push young talent! Also WWE fans: Why are these young talent getting a huge push?! Bury them!

The difference with Roman Reigns, who was indeed down our throads, is that Austin Theory actually pretty good in ring and have charisma.

As someone who watched Austin Theory in his days in NXT with Johnny Gargano, Candice Laray and Indie Hartwell with The Way i can 100% confirm he deserves all of this, his ability to play different characters as well as a PHENOMENAL in ring performer, i really wish everyone got to see Theory while he had his time in NXT, it was absolute comedy and fantastic character acting

I dunno. This whole mindset is kind old and played out. Its like a wrestling promotion can't push someone at all anymore because pushing anyone seems to mean 'forced down our throats' when the reality is. its a character they chose to take a shot at making high card. Which is 100% normal behavior for a wrestling promotion or any entertainment program honestly. If they can't push anyone no ones ever going to become a star. I mean its totally natural if you decide you don't like a character they are pushing or think they are not talented enough or skilled enough or charismatic enough thats totally cool. But that doesn't really equal the 'pushing down our throats mindset' either. Its a flawed mindset in the first place that leaves 0 room to push or build any future star without it just being labled forced. No matter HOW they do it when certain fans notice its just automatically 'ugh i hate them i hate it when they force someone down our throats like that'. Maybe instead its simply its a genre you have grown jaded with and no one they pick and push is going to be interesting and momentous to you because you are hanging onto a program and community that you have long since grown tired of?
