10 inches depending how wide the handlebar, but 12" is very tight and need to move forward

Very cool, I retired. last August, Just got a 2007 V Star 1100 Classic a month ago, 22,000 miles on it. Runs like a champ. Put some pipes on it for that sound. Mama and I are going to ride the tires off of it this summer. Have fun and be safe my friend.

Thank you for your comment. Indeed, this motorcycle is my go-to for a long ride, very comfortable and reliable, I believe the Shinko 777 whitewall tires got the best reviews for this v star 1100, again thank you and be safe always

Hey brother, i am vstar classic 1100 owner, but i am no mechanic, watching you DIY your bike made me want to learn my bike and everything about it. Can you make a video on how to remove the tank and how to drain the gas.
