WHY THERE IS ENGINE OIL ON SPARK PLUGS ON BMW. OIL LEAK SPARK PLUG
If you have BMW and you have engine oil in the spark plug hole / spark plug pocket and once you remove the spark plug it is covered with engine oil on the outside in this video we will explain what often causes engine oil on the spark plug or engine oil in the spark plug hole pocket on BMW. Often you can notice that higher mileage engines or older engine can develop oil leak that will cause engine oil in the spark plug holes pockets and on top of the spark plug. You may even notice engine oil on the ignition coil too and this often caused by a leaking valve cover gasket that seals that spark plug well hole. We demonstrated what the gasket look like and what causes engine oil on top of the spark plugs on BMW. If you have too much oil in the spark plug hole pocket that can lead to engine misfire as well.

@Cameron Kline I bought a rocket cover gasket kit, and those inner gaskets for the spark plug ports were leaking on my car. I replaced them as well as the rocket cover gasket anyway . Problem solved.

@Cameron Kline your valve seals may need replacing or your pcv valve may need replacing just check the seals around the spark plug ports aren't leaking that may be the only problem.but also check the pcv pressure control valve.if your car is going through the oil one way to check if that valve is broken is run the engine at idle take the oil cap off while it is running ,and if oil spits out the top then the pcv valve is to be replaced.If not then it's fine.good luck with it.

My bmw has this problem on 3 plugs, is it normal to have clean oil in there? Im not sure ive I'm some how spilling oil down there when i top it up

I just replaced my valve cover gasket. However, my valvetronic motor gasket (also replaced) has failed after not even a week. I removed the spark plugs as I have also been having some misfires and I noticed oil on all of the threads of the plugs. However, no oil is in the spark plug tubes/wells, nor on my ignition coils. The spark plug gaskets seem dry. Where would this oil be coming from?

I noticed heavy oil leak in 2 of the spark plug cylinders but I did a valve cover gasket about 12K miles ago. Is that normal? What else can it be?

you are supposed to step on brake with key in ignition and hold start to let it calibrate best to do it 2 times

Hi I’ve been watching your RU-vid Channel for a while now and was wondering if you could help me diagnose a problem with my 2008 BMW X3? Sometimes while Im driving (usually when the engine has warmed up) it’s hard to accelerate and when I push harder to accelerate it jerks a bit. Also when coming to a stop in down shifts pretty rough 😩

Many things cause that. 1.Check and clean your air filter. 2.check and clean your intake air. 3.Clean your injector. 4.Change your sparks and coils. 5.Is your battery in good condition? 6.When the lastime you changed your transfer fluid and filter? 7.Does your Valveteonic in good condition? 8.Are you using a right engine oil viscosity and changed the filter? 9.Have you scanned your car?
