These arguments seem rushed imo. Yeah, the svt is pretty good as a stock gun, but the avt is terrible in comparison because the recoil is much higher. The sks argument is silly to me because the sks with minimal investment has access to better sights, 20+ round mags, a suppressor, etc. While the svt/avt do not. The svt is a good gun, no doubt, but all the streamers and youtubers hyping it up for no reason seem to neglect the downsides to it and will lead to it being nerfed unnecessarily. This is very much the same situation the vepr hunter was in, it had access to great ammo and was incredibly cheap compared to other dmr options. But its lack of modifications meant it was only good for a cheap killer that would be replaced as soon as something better came along.
Disagree, the svt is the biggest game changer since patch day ks23. Svt has very good irons I'm nailing scavs in the head 100m+ on woods often, I don't see why I need better sights. You would never run end game optics on a budget gun like the sks anyway, a vudu is easily double the price of an sks build. Mag capacity I've already explained in the video, if your gun is a 2hko, a 15r mag is effectively a 30r mag with a gun thats 4hko. Lps and t46m has far higher pen and damage than 762 39 ps, against class 4 762 39 ps is a 4hko making your 20r sks mags equivalent to a 2hko 10r mag. You may disagree with me now but you'll see later in the wipe when everyone and their mother is naked running the svt/avt with snb similar to the ks23 patch.
Gotta be honest. This guns pretty op for price and accessibility. I think it could be fixed by capping buys per restock and making the guns durability drop really fast (Maybe it could also be expensive or ineffective to repair like some armours). I like the weapon and its accessibility so I personally don't want to see any huge nerfs.
@@k-fedd The only nerf I could really see being reasonable would be making the reset between shots longer. It would also help if other weapons were more viable like the sks and rfb.
A way to balance this gun would be to reduce the availability at LL2 traders. Have it limited to 1 purchase per reset and 1 barter per reset. Keep it on the flee but increase the malfunction chance, so if people wanna run it all the time they have to keep it in mind that it won't be as reliable. I just hope they don't take the Vepr Hunter approach and just destroy the gun.
given how many "makig game easier" rebalancing we had this wipe, keep in mind the wipe is only what, 4 months long? so avaliability to equipment and rounds is likely going to be easier than the december patch. Also, most if not all "good new weapons" were absolutely broken before they nerfed them. My best guess would be enjoy it this wipe / while it lasts, IMHO svt will / should be scarce.
Its pretty obvious BSG overtuned a new gun again, probably so entice people to use (and thereby - bugtest) the gun more, which is understandable. But dis gun gon git de nerfbat hard
I smoked a 3 man and a 4 man as a solo on customs with this thing today and I'm a mid player. this thing is nasty. Pray they keep it, I'd honestly say its balanced by the lack of modability. Its heavy and clunky and only gets iron sights or the mosin scope, so there's no improving it all
I think it needs a nerf, but I'd like it to be an unconventional one. I'm thinking something like the durability drops really fast and its innefective/expensive to repair (Like some armours). I like the weapon, but the lack of modability kind of plays to its strength because it means the final cost is super low and the stats are really good by default anyways. Thats just me though.
It won't be for long. Complainers will flood the discord and reddit and a major nerf will come in about 2-3 weeks. This cycle happens almost every wipe lol
Because shooting in this game is designed by apes. They still did not realised that balancing guns through xy-barrel-movement-on-the-screen is not enough. They could made guns sway completly away from the point of "full-semi-automatic" fire, not just around the center of the pattern like in CS, and control that through the ergonomics stat for example; they could made visual recoil (not real recoil) on the first round reduce to almost zero for small calibers and leave it horrible for things like 7.62x54R. But instead they chose to continue produce shit that never balanced, that one day everyone runs this meta and the next day everyone switched to another meta.
All the sweats and streamers are complaining hard about this gun because it means sweats will have to think twice before trying to seal club lower levels. l m a o
from what i can tell there’s almost no reason to use the sniper mosin variant now, the SVT has the exact same MOA, and is lighter with better ergo for 2k more roubles which is nothing, the only reason you would use the sniper mosin over the SVT is because of the suppressors available to the mosin

if you do the work that BSG is supposed to do, you get banned if you put out the information of the things they changed or made in a live client such as changing ammo stats or changing hidden armor and weapon stats you will get banned
