She said she was going to bet on the ponies. The people in the town are the ponies. She’s invested in her bet on the “ponies “,hence why she’s trying to to influence and she’s watching the “race” closely
Well this isn't a betting game unless she's BFF with the monsters and want a front role seat. Randall actually said there's gotta be a mole and captured Donna but I wasn't her so it's possible it's Tilly. Still there's nothing to say she's evil.
She also did the tarot cards with Fatima and the crows crashed thru the windows. But still not sure if she's evil or has any connection to the monsters.
THANK YOU een befor anything else the first thing that made me suss was that she in the 'dream/vision' was the only other one who could see that fatima looking nightmare and then when he has another one later in an ep she's on the other couch like she can induce the fear - my theory is she's one of them and trained to sneak in as as leeper agent cuz whos gonna worry about the nice old lady and we know they can control their bloodlust AND are smarter than we thought etc: MY TILLY THEORY: in new eps we see monsters are smarter, they an control their killin like w boyd and they have knowledge etc and let the animals out as a trap - imo Tilly who's so obv bad its silly (i actually first noticed when she was the only on in Elgins 'dream' who could 'see' the fatima looking ghost thing even tho it was a dream its weird - so my theory: Tilly spent a yr or two being trained JUST on mimicking the humans and snuck in withthe nex group who arrived aka a large group and old people are often ignored so shed blend in nobodies gonna think shes not from the bus but she's def gonna act as an inside man-ster (bad pun sorry haha) for the monsters imo
I almost hope not, because that shit was PAINFULLY obvious from the very beginning of Squid Game 😅 lol. We didn't know exactly what his role was, but it was IMMEDIATELY apparent he was SOME kind of inside horse. Great show.....kinda obvious "twist" -felt fisappointed when they invrsted their whole big ending inti something very obvious from the beginning, like Kaiser Soze.
One more thing to note is that the land was being poisoned just to feed the demon baby, yet they still managed to find food out of nowhere. I believe this happened right after Tian-chen died, and shortly after, her son discovered the food. Doesn’t this support the theory that when someone dies, they become part of that place? From the day Tian-chen arrived, all she did was prepare food for others, and on the day she died, she ended up providing food, even though the land was nearly dead.
Considering it lasted 1 episode, no. The poisoned food is gone. A none storyline to drive them to the wood cabins. Period. The foods already growing in the greenhouse again in the latest teaser. :) :)
I told my daughters friend that something was up with Tilly! When she arrived to the town, she was the only one not freaked out or inquisitive about what was going on. She was acting as though she returned home and was happy to be there.
@@msto1987 there’s a theory that tillie used to be in fromville before and she knows a lot more about the town. That’s why she wasn’t freaked out when she ended up there, she isn’t scared of the monsters like the other newcomers were, and also her overall disposition.
@tuesdayjanae3676 That's not a theory it's reckless. Speculation. There is no proof whatsoever of any of that nonsense, yet you take that as fact and post based off of it.That's absolutely crazy
@@msto1987 it’s a show chill, part of watching these shows are fans to speculate, come up with theories and have fun brainstorming while watching. Lighten up my goodness.
I don’t get evil vibes from her but I was shocked when she wasn’t concerned about the girl who was shot. I just thought she was a goofy annoying old lady. I never thought of her always being there at the perfect time but you are so right. However the lady in the kimono is a drown victim in my eyes. I wonder did she drown in the bristles lake that is why Elgin wanted to see the lake the very next day after arriving and since then the kimono lady has been needing his help and Tilly looked like she was able to see that lady just like Elgin but was acting like she wasn’t seeing anything
Tilly recently reveals that the cards told her about this place and to remember back in season 2 when she was doing a rain dance she was happy to come to from. Most people would be upset to come to this town but she was ecstatic.
I strongly disagree with Tilly saying to Jim, "You're asking too many questions." Well, WHAT'S WRONG with asking many questions in a weird strange place like that?? People SHOULD be asking many questions, because they need to find answers to survive and escape from that place. That is something that raised RED FLAG in my opinion.
Tilly is totally going to be a witch that is somehow connected to the origins of this weird pocket dimension. The fact she brought a bunch of morphine immediately set off my warning bells.
You know it low-key right...the whole time I thought father Katry was a fake priest n I just couldn't trust him always thought he was hiding from a crime in the real world ...we find out he is a regular ol priest and is quite honourable, him and Boyd are gonna go on adventures to save everyone , 5 mins later....dead
Yeah she's harmless. No way is she evil or connected to the monsters. She gives off creepy vibes but she hasn't actually done anything to suggest she's working with the monsters.
@jonfreeman9682 like the original poster said more likely then not she is a red herring. The ability to critically proccess the information we are given is surprisingly lacking as this leans towards an intelligently written show it would stand to reason it's viewers would follow suit
There's a theory that the kimono woman isn't evil, the music box was about to play & Elgin was falling asleep when she tried "drowning" him so she could've actually been saving him. Tillie though, she's probably definitely evil which would suck but damn, I like her haha
I absolutely love the shot of Elgin looking at the kimono lady. Where the camera moves up as he turns his head away slightly while keeping his eyes locked on her and asking “am I awake?”. It’s like he wants to look away but he can’t, great shot.
@@JarvisCola Fatima did nothing to make me feel that way. It's just her as a whole that doesn't click with me. Sometimes there is no significant reason "why," when it comes to like or dislike. 🤷♂️ I wish I had a deeper answer, for you and myself, but it's just that simple.
I don't think Fatima is pregnant, I think that she's just turning into one of those things because what's the best way to get to Boyd, to actually break him? Kill Elias? Maybe but to break Elias to the point of no return, and for that slow burn of torment with nothing Boyd can do to save his son is far worse than just killing Elias and it being over with after that because that could give Boyd's mind something to latch on to, revenge, anger, hatred and that could fuel his desire to help everyone else escape the town. But watching Elias lose his "child" and wife.....that is awful. That's why I don't think she's actually pregnant, it's just more mind games from whatever eldritch being is in control of our lil pocket dimension of Fromville.
And did we ever see Fatima take a pregnancy test? Tilly probably just planted the idea in her head to explain away all her weird cravings and behaviour. It's also the thing of building up hope, as the town feeds off of it
Another channel explained exactly what the kimono lady is. It’s a Japanese folklore of a ghost that looks identical to the one in the show, and it’s known to always be licking water from its own hands. In the show the ghost lady is literally water logged all over her body
the funny thing about this show is that the showrunners hasnt gave us any minimal little clue about what or why everything is happening, so any crazy theory can be possible...they're in the Limbo? right, every one has something to atone; simulation? right, that's why all the stuff comes from nowhere; is this a witch game? Donna and Tillie are very suspicious, showing up out of the blue every time two people are making plans or justt chilling; demons? another dimension? dreamland? yep, anyhting can be the main plot. I really hope they start droping some answers before this season ends or it's going to be too frustating to keep interested on
It could be like THE DOME : they are prisoners of an alien 👽 species that has them in an "experimental controlled environment" (like mice in a maze) observing human reactions to different situations *(don't forget the famous episode of classic Twilight Zone called "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street")*
A good mystery show teases us with more questions than answers. By dragging out the mystery with weekly episodes it helps build interest and discussions and fanbase. If they reveal the mystery too quick then fans will bail. So far it keeps us guessing and coming back for more.
@@jonfreeman9682But how long will they keep dragging the mystery? We don't even have answers to questions we've had since season 1 and we're halfway into season 3. They have to start giving us real answers and not crumbs.
Omg!!! What if, now hear me out, Tilly is really victors sister. That’s why she said the cards showed her the town but she didn’t know how to read the cards at the time. Because we only assume Victor’s sister died but he never said he found her body just the mom. And Tilly escaped, got adopted, changed her name and etc. and she can’t say much cause she knows the rules of Fromville
I've thought something was up with Tilly the first scene she was in where she was dancing in the rain while everyone else was freaking out. She's definitely something the Town controls or maybe she's the avatar of the man in yellow.
If she had cancer, wouldn’t she be appreciative of the little things? Playing in the rain doesn’t seem like much but to somebody dying it’s like tapping into childhood again. I never took it as her being evil. I may need to rethink it though because everybody thinks she’s kin to Chuckie.
@@beefyronin no, im not saying she knew the cancer was gone. Im saying she was just happy to be happy you know? oh it’s raining, how many more times will i be able to see this, let me enjoy it. i never took it as her being evil.
When Tillie read the tarot Card for Fatima, the crow suddenly broke in. Crow is a scavenger bird feeding on dead bodies. Now Fatima has done something horrific. She got tempted and tried some of the deceased Nicky's blood and possibly flesh.
I have seen a comment pointing out the show's opening intro, "Future is not ours to see," which suggests that the crow may be the entity preventing people from "foreseeing the future."
Her and Elgin must have some connection... Both reacting to getting into Fromville (Elgin trying to get off the bus and gets seizures, Tilly is dancing in the rain happily upon arriving), Elgin is the one who interacts with her the most (and it's almost always precedes kimono-lady), she tries do a taro reading and the crow interrupted (Elgin has crow on his shirt, and he always wearing the exact same shirt)... What if they both supposed to be "moles" but he lost his memories somehow???
Ok the comment where you point out the 4 kids and 7 grandkids and then the 7 children on thee stones as if being sacrificed has me convinced she is not who she appears to be plus the number 47 that keeps popping up
"Genuinely" and "obviously" evil is a bit dramatic lol... she's just an eccentric old lady who knows things from the experience of living. She had the morphine because she was gonna off herself but then found herself in a situation where others might need it more than she does. She gives Fatima the advice she does because she knows how scary pregnancy can be for a new mother so even though she senses something is wrong she's still trying to b supportive so that Fatima doesn't freak out even more. It just seems like she's always involved in stuff because she actually pays attention
We tend to demonize those who are different. Tillie is old, electic, and weird. But does that make her evil? That's the purpose of the show. We’re taught to fear the unknown and label it as bad or evil. Humans are terrible. 😂😂😂
@@yashkumarsingh7800 Tillie is always around at the right possible times to temp the ppl with things, right? Give them hope. Donna is always around at the worst possible times to take hope away. To cast doubt. Yin and yang. Plus they never interact too much.
@@SBzKillFrenzy probably you just heard the names of the characters somewhere and you’re just here mentioning names. Maybe you should rewatch the series and come to a better conclusion of who’s suspicious and not. Your sarcasm too was irrelevant… thanks
I think Tillie has been there before. I think she was happy when she got to the town because she knew she was going to be healed. whether or not she is evil, only time will tell, but I think she has way more information than we now know. I would not be surprised though if tillie is tied to the darkness there
i think Tilly is just an old senior citizen that's constantly getting scammed, but instead of an indian guy from a call center it's some evil supernatural entity.
👍 I AGREE 💯% and from her first appearance I've thought she was "one of the evil ones"... I suspect it's an idea the creators of FROM got from the ultra classic horror movie 🌹 ROSEMARY'S BABY where Mia Farrow's character has a demon growing in her stomach and the KIND OLD LADY NEXT DOOR keeps bringing Rosemary protein herb drinks she's making homemade with an herb called "tannis root" which Rosemary eventually discovers in a book is known as Witches Weed.
@OkayOkOkay Based off of what exactly? She's suspicious, so if you're suspicious that automatically makes you a mole or evil, there's no evidence one way or another other than that. She is suspicious
@@OkayOkOkay I don't think they need a spy tho, whatever controls the monsters knows what is going on in the town tho, like how did the monsters know about Boyds lil "u can't break me speech"
I was thinking that myself but if nothing else the hair is wrong, Miranda had bangs. I was actually thinking the kimono last could somehow be Fatima's spirit or something, asking for help because of the baby being evil.
Tillie is not evil. Think about it. It would be too obvious from the writers perspective. She had genuine concerns about Fatima and the fat boy. Her facial reactions says it all
You are correct why is tilly the only person to be cured when Boyd is still sick and Kenny’s dad dementia seemed to have been accelerated due to from land
I think she is a witch. When she brought those Tarot cards for reading I knew see sees things others can’t ! But I don’t think she is connected to the town. But she definitely got some black magic she is hiding
Yeah and witch is definitely evil, remember the recent episode when the bus driver idk her name called is tilly fault bcs do tarrot reading in the house and make the crow dead in the house, and when nikki cleaned the crow she died
Tillie definitely comes off extremely suspect, but part of me thinks she'll be a red herring because it's almost too obvious. They put it in our faces so much it feels like a magician tossing cards around so we don't notice the assistant in the background actually doing the trick.
Victors the mole, he just doesn't know he is. No monster has tried to attack him plus how the f*ck does a 10 year old kid live that long in a place like that? Not to mention he intentionally forgot some of his memories, he's a pawn
@@yeahrightmyguy481no victor is innocent,he survive bcs protected by boy in white, and remember when he said the boy in white guide him to hide in the tree that have hole
@@aery412 I don't think the boy in white is helping, I think he's another trick by fromville to keep hope alive. If that boy can talk to Victor, why didn't he talk to Tabitha and tell her what to look for in the outside world? I wouldn't trust anything in a place that has shown it thrives off of hopes and fears
I think Tilly did get cured when she got here. She was so excited when she arrived, then she gave away her prescription. We've seen wounds heal very fast before too. Ethan in the car crash, when Ellis got stabbed, etc. but theres def more going on with her. Wether she turns out to be evil or not she def knows things about this town. Sooo sketchy! lol
I don’t think she’s evil, I think she will have a big roll to play later on but I feel like she will be a huge help later on. Member she said that the cards played a big roll for her and it helped her through tough times. She said she knew about fromville before she got there and understood once she got there what the cards were telling her. I truly feel that she is telling the truth but figures things out as she goes.
I think she went to medium or tarot reader and was told to get on the bus and she will go to a town that will cure her cancer. Why she was so happy when she got there and gave her medicine away
I think the scary woman Elgin sees is Fatima when she fully transforms maybe. I think it’s a cycle! Every character repeats itself … it’s a continuum. ( cycle). This show is gonna be long and horrific for sure. New characters will keep on coming
Great vid! 😀 The theory is that Colony house has the healing/curing magic or whatever....so only people who spend significant amount of time there heals faster and is cured/fixed from diseases or other stuff. Ethan was there when his leg was hurt and healed fast, Ellis healed from stab wound fast and Jim didn't heal fast from house falling on him because he lived at Tien Chens house....that theory could be wrong but seems plausible.
@@B2liveee There is a theory that when new people arrive to the town that some of the original die and that the deaths and newcomers balance it out. Hence, there is a possibility that Randall was left to live while the other girl died in the house. There is also another possibility that the town is trying to break Boyd by having him watch people die and make difficult decisions, for example, leaving Randall to die only for him to still be alive, to essentially torture Boyd and deal with what comes after. You could say the town is targeting Boyd because he is the strongest, among other people.
I honestly don’t think Tilly is evil in any way. What I do think though is that she saw the cards that were laid out for Fatima after the crow flew into the window, and that is why she said “that poor girl” when speaking of her.
Although we all say she has a demon baby, I don’t think it’s one of the monsters. The monsters don’t consume anything or require sustenance, as their organs don’t function. Whatever is inside Fatima is something else.
My god. I knew there was something to her but never spent too much time/thought on her with everything that goes on but 🤯. Not to mention Randall’s idea back in s2 that someone among the residents must be an inside man thinking it was Donna… who’s gonna suspect the kooky old bird? 🤨😭
Tillie summoned the crows when she read the cards to Fatima. Maybe she is innocent but she was just happy because in Fromville she dosn't have cancer (doesn't look ill)- I mean just like Fatima who is not able to conceive a baby outside Fromvile but is currently pregnant now.
she is sus, i think she knows more then she lets on, my theory is it's not her first time in the town. maybe she left and couldn't find her way back for some reason.
I think a big problem with shows like this, which is also its biggest strength, is how the show itself is just one giant conspiracy. It leads the viewers to draw conclusions with people in the show that might just really be them acting in the “dumb person” role and nothing more. Or maybe she is totally evil. None of us will know til it’s over 😂 It makes it harder for us to pinpoint specific detail as more important than others. I think this was an intentional writing decision 🙃
Oh I didn’t put that together about the children on the altar or the demon and Tilly possibly being connected yes true she doesn’t look like she’s dying you’re really good at this u pick up on a lot of things other people miss thanks for the great review I love this series 🌹🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
