Over the last few years I've been mostly avoiding using 3d models and tracing because I wanted to keep practicing without them. I want to make comics of my own so I'll be using tracing a lot to save time, but I already know that I'm not inseparable from it. I think there has just been one too many cases of actual plagiarism and it makes beginners feel shame about tracing.
That’s perfectly valid and it’s great to practice without. I do feel there’s ways to use it without plagiarising. I’d love to to hear about your comic!
@@DrawWithSajiri I think most, if not all, of your points had about an equal amount of validity. If I had to choose I suppose it'd be the point about most professional artists using tracing in their own work, because it's true. Though I suppose that's more of a fact? IDK. I also like that you point out that you shouldn't claim it as your own if you trace someone else's art, because, while it may be obvious, it's an important disclaimer.
