It's not trackman that's the problem...it's a subpar fitter

It’s all in how the teacher uses it with the student. If your not using a ball launch monitor your guessing. Thanks to ball launch monitors it proved the way old ball flight laws were taught were wrong. There are more trackmans behind the best players in the world. It’s also why players are getting better faster. Working with the highest level of players not one has ever said they don’t like using trackman or gc quad or some sort of ball launch monitor. The reason tour pros are using gc quad is because of the quick set up and don’t need to carry around an iPad or computer. Get your facts correct. We are all out here trying to help our clients.

Trackman doesn't tell us how. It tells us why. Why didn't my ball fly straight? Face to path was off by "this much". That's all. I'm a single plane golfer who uses Trackman to practice and Foresight GC Quad for fitting. I've learned a lot from both.

A good coach will only show the numbers that the student understands and can relate to. And chasing numbers is a good thing, just comunicate it correctly

I use trackman as a data collection tool. Club gaps, spin, checking swing path, etc. However, I have seen it destroy tournament golfers entirely. You have to know exactly what to ignore and what to look for to make the most of your investment. I just have a hard time not using it knowing what it cost

Trackmans going away lmao let me get some of what you’re smoking. Every Tour pro has gc or trackman (some both) with them on the range at all times. Get in touch with reality.

Trackman sale have only risen year by year, there is a reason for that. Dont blame that product when you dont know how to use it.

Yeah the reason why you all hate trackman is cause there is no power in your swing. If you want a straight shot that goes no where stick with this

I finally decided to get fit for a driver almost a year ago. And the guy at PGA super store was super hyper focused on all the numbers and he lost me. The good thing that came out of it was getting the right shaft but I basically bought a driver head he wasn’t recommending because I liked the way it felt and I liked my dispersion the best.

Trackman T4 is great outdoors because is was designed to watch the entire ball flight to produce accurate numbers. Indoors the t4’s simulation results & software are not as good as other LM’s because it can only watch 10-12’ of ball flight That’s why they just came out with the Trackman IO (designed to be indoors) coupled with a high speed camera system. So if you are still playing sim golf on a t4 unit indoors know the results are not that great Time to switch launch monitors or buy a new IO unfortunately

Ill play on these things and hit a fade everytime and then go outside and play 18 holes and every shot will be a draw. I dont get it. Ive also seen 2 machines used at the same time and theyll be completely different numbers. Nothings more true than what the ball tells you outside.

Trackman is garbage. Nothing consistent occurs. It's an over-priced pile of elephant shit. Do not use this to make improvements. Real progress occurs from practice and playing.
