Travelling from some airports in India has become expensive for flyers. And no, the airlines are not to be blamed for it at least this time. Actually, it’s the surge in airport charges at terminals in Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and 11 other major Indian airports. Watch the video to know more.

@@rockyBalboa6699 exactly. No one checks the airport fee component before booking a ticket that's why we never know until sucha. report comes out. We automatically assume airline has raised the fee but that's not always the case. I believe the margins in the airline business are quite thin with many going out of business pretty quickly.

Why charge from us? Government used to take in the form of taxes, why should we pay extra to Adani just because govt thought of selling off airports to him? Why should we take up the burden just because govt mismanaged national funds? Also, you do realise that prices once increased never gonna come down regardless of whether there is any development work or not. They will get too accustomed to this new income and wouldn’t want to revert back.
