No one better to represent our sport than Travis--although he left out the best advantage of a two stroke: the FUN FACTOR!

There's nothing like the smell of 2 stroke exhaust.

Recently bought a RM 250. My first 2 stoke dirtbike and man i was overwhelmed with the brutal power. They way the power is released when you open the throttle is just crazy. No 4 stroke can match that. No hate against 4 strokes don,t get me wrong, i also owned those but the 2 stroke is another story.

anyone who ever grew up in the 2stroke day's will always love the 2stroke there faster easier to work on and make FASTER and there just better all around the board!!!!!!!!!

for the guys arguing two stroke of 4...here is an interesting point to make; guys who run two stroke 250's at the local tracks cant run in the 250 class anymore, they have to run with the 450's...does that tell you anything?? LOL...besides, they are just plain !!! BRAAPP!

my lawn mower is a 1970s lawnboy and its 2 stroke and still lives on and on and on!

I had a CR125 with FMF pipe and installed bigger fuel jet...I could stay right with the 250 and 500's Hare Scrambling..

i have a kx 250 stroke and a yzf 450 , The 450 is brutal med The 250 makes me smile alot more

one HUGE difference is the 'engine brake.' when you're riding a 4-stroke and you let off the throttle the motor slows it self down and you lose all your momentum... versus riding a 2-stroke you can let off the gas and not lose momentum. although for some people the brutal 4-stroke engine brake helps with jumping into corners, getting into ruts, etc. 4-strokes also have twice the amount of engine components including the head (camshafts, valves, timing chain, cam chain tensioner, etc.

Honestly who gives a shit what your riding 2 stroke or 4 stroke you never really max out top speed riding anyway it's more about the rider and besides as long as im riding I'm having a good time I could be riding a xr100 and have a blast damn

I'm with u on the two strokes Motocross lost a lot of intensity when we lost the two strokes four strokes sound like a wet fart instead of shreddin ther shartin

One simple statement, power to weight ratio! Four stroke engines are environmentally friendly that's why they stopped making two strokes, not because they are better but because they were forced to by the damn hipster tree huggers!

Everything about 2 strokes is better than a 4 stroke, any real rider will agree. As for you tree huggers, 2 strokes Are better for the environment!
