Why Twin Town is so good 

One of the greatest British/Welsh films ever made. Brilliant performances all round. Hilarious quote worthy script and dark twists and turns all the way. Always loved it.

From the US here. Rented it in '97 and I had to watch it a few times just to get the accents, but as I watched, I knew it was worth the watches. Eventually, it became my favorite movie at the time, and have been showing it to people ever since. It's possibly my favorite black comedy on par with Coen Brothers or Breaking Bad.

As an Irish man I think this film is right up there with the snapper, I watch it at least one a year and it never fails to deliver. What a classic !! Well done you for highlighting the brilliance of twin town !!

Twin Town is one of my childhood, ''adulthood'' and my livelyhood films. Being from the area of the films setting, I have a biased opinion of the film. A lot of people don't actually see the story of the film until the 3rd time watching the film but I do believe that some things will grow on you, especially twin town. Hard to get an actual copy of the film (especially digitally) but I do very much recommend this random, culture filled, violence to the max type of movie.

Great film. I remember watching Twin Town at Castle Cinema, Merthyr Tydfil in 1997.

2023 and its finally out on Blu-Ray in 1080p

Tough call for me between twin town and human traffic.. A box set of both would be a super duper deal !

Definition of a good film? One I watched when it came out, again and again, can quote and find nearly 30 years on that surprisingly my kids can quote without me ever watching with them (until tonight when I did and was amazed)

I too saw this on VHS in '97. Stole that copy from the video store and still have it! While I found parts of it to be culturally confusing (as someone born and raised in California) it's one of my favorite films of all time, a banger of a soundtrack too!

My bothers stag do was at Barrons night club in 2005 and it was just like the film. I have a soft spot for Swansea and this film is one of my favourites.

I only realised recently that Ronnie Williams from Ryan a Ronnie plays Mr Mort in this after God knows how many times I've watched it! Great work. Really enjoying your videos!

I was always impressed by the way the movie went from knock about comedy to deadly serious crime thriller it was jarring at the end when they killed bryn and terry. But overall it worked. I think kevin allen was just trying to shock.

I was 16 when this came out, and being A Swansea boy I loved it for obvious reasons .But my parents hated it because even though they both swore like troopers they found that the swearing was F#cking disgusting And It Made Us Look stupid. It's A black Welsh comedy, It's supposed to be stupid.
