I recently got selected to be in the President's Pre-College Scholars program. I'd never thought I'd stand a chance to get into any UC school, but I think I can work harder now. So maybe ucla in a couple years?

if I am a student in Singapore, what examinations do I need to go to a school in the US. Is it just the SAT and ACT kinda of examinations I need to take. As Singapore requires all male citizens like me to attend compulsory national service, is applying to the uni at age 22 possible.

UCLA and Stanford are both my dream schools. Do any of you guys have tips on getting into these schools (I'm a sophomore so I haven't taken the SAT yet)? Any tip is much appreciated, thank you!
