My first video of 2024. Sharing some of the reasons why I love urban skating, with voice commentary, for the first time! Music: 2 AM Over Tropical Musician: EnjoyMusic URL: enjoymusic.ai
Great video & think you have a cool voice. I hate my voice as I have a lisp & my pronunciations are not always spot but I think we can be our own worst critics sometimes. Been binge watching rollerblading videos as I am very interested & I love the look of urban, wizard style skating as it looks fun & I want that feeling of free flow which I think this could provide. I live in an English country town so not the best terrain but there's cities close by with different terrain.
Own worst critics is a true thing! The freedom of the urban flow is just as you imagine, and even better! I haven't found anything that makes me feel as thrilled, happy and relaxed all at once, like when I'm urban skating! I definitely suggest you give it a try I know you won't regret it! Thanks for watching and for the good vibes!
That’s funny about being asked how you skate outside. Personally I never really gave it much thought I would ride my skateboard outside and that had small wheels too so I just figured outside on blades was just the same.
Actually I inline skates have bigger, and narrower wheels, with maybe the exception of aggressive skates. Is just y that most Skater are used to the smooth floor of rinks, and pathways And if you think of it, if trip on your skateboard, you just step of of it and walk, but blades are attached to you! So if you trip and Don't know how to catch yourself is easier to fall. But these is quickly changing we got a lot more people blading on the street now!
@@AlexRamos-Bliss true. When I learned to skate back in the early 90’s my parents never took me to a rink I just took ownership of my sisters Lightning’s and headed outside. Haha I was maybe in 6th grade or so.
I really like your videos and inline skating has always been very exciting for me since childhood and i am about to make that dream real at the age of 35 lol .. everything is good in your videos but i think you should choose more chill music like maybe lofi or something.. you’re awsome ✌🏽
Great to hear you are about to start skating! I started at 33 I feel like I will do these for the rest of my life! I'm taking notes on the music, Thanks for the suggestion! and thanks for watching! Hope you have as much fun as I do in your skating journey!
First time I see you, and I was very happy to be able to listen. It made me want to explore my town more on my skates instead of just commute when needed.
First time finding your channel, excellent stuff on here I just subbed! Question, would you ever do any kind of tutorials? I’d love to learn that front facing power slide you do.
I just purchased my first pair of roller blades for $1 at a yard sale. I've never roller bladed before, can you give tips on how to overcome fear of falling. Thanks
Happy to hear you join the Blade family! First of all fear will gradually fade as you gain confidence! My advice is to wear all your protective gear, skate on a Safe, flat and smooth surface, like a hockey rink, tennis court, or basketball court that are not crowded. Then take your time and focus on mastering the basics! Hope to hear from your progress in the future! Good luck and Happy skating!
Great skate mate keep it up. Im going to do something similar when i figure out the format i feel most comfortable with and like yourself, i dont like my voice either... Just keep doing what you love!!!
Thanks! Go at it whenever you feel ready, is lots of fun!.... and about the voice, someone told me that " we are always going to be our worst critics" sometimes we just have to do it! Good luck!
Your voice is fine, but you seem so formal that is why you get tensed. Speak as if you're just talking to an acquaintance or a friend. Talk freely like you flow freely. Talking while skating is best but I know it's tiring. That is why when singers are dancing and singing at the same time it's probably they are just lip synching.
Love this video, subbed, thank you dude! I just started skating a month ago and still working on getting the basics down practicing in parking lots as much as i can when the weather hasn't been bad. Seeing how great you are at skating now after a couple years is very inspiring to me! Any tips for a beginner? ps: absolutely nothing wrong with your voice! 🙂
Thank you very much!!, I think the best advice I can give is, keep pushing your limit! Lace up and Skate as much as you can, and have fun! I still do these things with the intention to get better!
So Happy to hear the videos are reaching out! Skating is so much fun, and healthy! Is good to hear you started your skating journey! I've been skating for 2 years!
I'm from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 but I've been living in Colorado Springs for 10 years! The reason the streets look empty on my videos, is because I filmed all of them at early morning time on weekends, when there's usually little traffic! Thanks for watching!
@@timmorphine sorry to hear that!... But, the beauty of skating is that, there's so many ways of having fun with it, whether it's freestyle, urban, wizard or the park, skating is always a blast!
honestly the place you skate here looks quite boring and almost depressing. i hope it is justbecause of the winter? :D but i clicked on the video to hear you talk about urban skating as thats what i try to do myself. just started inline skating two 1.5 years ago and i still have my amateur fitness skates though :D anyway the talking about urban skating was interesting. would love to hear more. maybe share some stories. also it would be cool to tell us your complete setup in the video description. like wheel size etc. last thing: the music is a bit too loud compared to your voice.
There's more to Colorado Springs than what I show in the videos! I know it's not a big City, but I'm grateful to call it home, and my skating playground! About the skate setup, and all the input, thank you! I'm going to consider this things next time I'm editing a vid! Thanks again!
