One thing I'd like to point out is that the Vietnamese coffee like ca phe sua da is mean to be sipped and savored slowly. This allows you to relax and enjoy, but it also allows the ice to slow melt and dilute the drink, thus making it less sweet/strong. A lot of Vietnamese drinks are loaded with ice for that reason. The drinks aren't made to be chugged like in the West.

I make a hybrid between vietnamese egg & salt coffee at home. Best ever, sometime when I'm lazy to brew coffee in the morning, I just buy 4 shot espresso from starbuck and add in my own egg & salt cream on top.

I LOVE the vibe of that 2nd coffee shop. Beautifully done on the decor and ambiance. Every Westerner that has tried the salted coffee loves it. I would say the favorite coffees Western vloggers have loved are the coconut and and egg coffees. Other coffees to look for are the peanut, yogurt, pandan, etc. Salted and peanut coffee came from the Central region, BTW.

Coffee are meant to be a strong beverage with rich flavor for a reasonable price. It's a basic commodity for everyone to acquire daily and get the energy they needed to work. Starbucks obviously doesn't understand that, their coffee doesn't contain the signature flavor of coffee and the price is outrageous for a person with middle income to buy,. even wealthy people in Vietnam knows this and prefer to get a coffee from a local vendor instead. I can't believe there are still some people willing to defend and speak up for a corporation that doesn't even give a damn about the consumers and steal their money.

Vietnamese take small sips and chat with friends enough time for the ice to melt and even out the taste. Foreigners drink coffee like water in one breath and left all the ice still in their original forms, that's why they say the coffee is too strong, too sweet, too wild

Trên thế giới không có caffe việt nam , starbuck nó chỉ là thương hiệu mà bắt buộc các bạn phải uống vì ở đó không có caffe việt nam, starbuck sẽ bị loại ở Việt Nam vì nó quá dở so với caffe truyền thống việt nam
