Why villain's are better than heroes? What makes the bad guy so cool? Why villain's become villain's? In this video I am going to talk about Why villain's are better than heroes. I feel like people who become evil were not evil before hand.. but products of a failed society or environment.

Villains in movies often represent the struggles of everyday life, while the non-villains may present a false sense of "goodness" that is too good to be true. Villains in movies are often characters who have experienced injustice or oppression, and are fighting to stand up to the forces of evil that seek to deny them their rights and freedoms. On the other hand, non-villains may be presented as good people, but their actions can often be seen as deceitful or selfish. Thus, the villains in movies can be seen as real heroes, while the non-villains can be portrayed as bad people who are putting on a front.

they don’t show backstories of villains. Joker was abused as a kid, Venom is a good guy, but the way he handle situations is gory. Darth vader was left for dead, burning alive, scorpion family was killed by quan chi because he impersonated sub zero, black panther cousin father was banned from wakanda and was killed when he was a kid. most villains had tough childhoods, they were backstabbed, closest ones killed or passed away, or you were just looked at wrong

Something that is wrong with the film industry is usually they make a hero not to focus on the right decision to make but to have them be a simple vasle of cool powers and worship. Villains are not better than the heroes, the reality of the hero in the world one would love in today is that, heroes suffer and they keep suffering but at every step of their pain decide to make the world a little better. Villains don't want to make it better they want to change it entirely to what they perceive to be right. The main difference between the villains and heroes is that villains go through lots of suffering earlier in their lives and form a goal while heroes keep suffering throughout their entire journey and because of the villain too. The villain doesn't usually have anything more to lose but the hero is going through pain and loses loved ones and family throughout his journey
@hybridcollegekid
@hybridcollegekid 2 года назад
Love your perspective! I agree with you on some points however… “Villains don’t want to make it better they want to change it entirely to what they perceive to be right.” What is the right decision? There’s a lot of gray areas when it comes to being a hero, even making the hard choices such as moral dilemmas. Are they being a hero from a place of their own ego or for the validation of others? “The main difference between the villains and heroes is that villains go through lots of suffering earlier in their lives and form a goal while heroes keep suffering throughout their entire journey and because of the villain too.” The suffering never stops on both ends. Pain doesn’t subside for either party, at least not until you die. Pain can either make you or break you. In order to learn you have to fail, which can cause suffering for a villain too. There is a consistency of learning is never temporary for a villain either for they have to grow. Some villains do have something to lose which is why they fight like hell to get it. (Magneto) My problem with hero’s is that they lack the confidence. They don’t listen to their own voice. They ride for what’s best for the people, but ignore their own issue.

This man speaking straight facts. What I love most about villains is how vicious and ferocious they are as well as their drive to achieve what they want in life. They usually get the better (more badass) powers and are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goal, and what I admire about them is their "I don't give a fuck what you think about me" mentality, that even if the rest of the world hates them, they're still willing to stand by what they believe in to their dying breath, even if they're seen as "the bad guy". I'm not advocating for doing evil acts against undeserving innocent people, I'm just saying that sometimes we all have our limits, and there are gonna be times where you're gonna have to take matters into your own hands if nobody else is willing to do doing anything. Regardless of what happens, there are always gonna be people that are gonna accuse you of being the bad guy no matter what. So might as well say "fuck it" and do whatever it takes to get what you want in life. Call me crazy, but I find it oddly satisfying to see scenes where the hero gets pushed past "that point" or "snaps" and ends up pushing the moral boundaries to protect those he holds dear, even if he ends up looking like the monster, or slowly starts to deviate away from the stereotypical hero trope. Anakin Skywalker is one of my favorite examples of this.
@hybridcollegekid

Exactly! It’s that relatability. People just think that everyone gonna sit there and take it but no! It’s about who survives. Survival is never pretty. Villains understand human nature and acknowledge the morally depravity and wickedness of humanity. Villains are more relatable because they represent the inherent corruption within human nature and how it turns us into monsters. I like heroes that are badass, embrace their flaws, and are very relatable such as Wolverine. I hate some of the heroes that are pure, kindhearted, and idealistic because it comes off as fake, and unnatural. A lot ppl don't like Superman because of his idealistic and bland character and he is sacrificing his life all the time for the same ppl who don't acknowledge his sacrifices.

Yeah, Thanos was a very good villain both physically and mentally... However, he could've been better if his motive was more like, "His planet was destroyed by invaders because of lack of resources, and he now lives in an another planet, and for the sake of protecting the current planet and the people he loves in that planet, he plans to destroy half of the universe because he thinks that in this way the rest of the universe will have plenty of resources and will not try to attack his current planet." That could've been a way better motivation for him to do what he does instead of "I just want to do the universe a favor."

For me, Superman is super boring... The same goes for batman, where Bruce Wayne is a millionaire that comes off as so much so un-interesting. Whereas Joker on the other hand is so much so relatable and such an interesting character...

Villains' stories start before the hero and since they're betrayed by the hero or have become evil because of the society, they give birth to their ultimate death bringer, the Hero. My villain, Stein, had to complete his destiny by destroying the world because some people destroyed his home when he was a kid. The biggest thing about heroes and villains; Heroes have to be infallible, villains don't. If a hero fails, society turns on them. If a villain fails, it's expected. Heroes are a face, an icon, a symbol that people akin to an ideal. But that means, they are expected to be everything. Villains are enigmatic, broad and overlooked. Nothing is expected from them, so they have no societal bar of expectations to clear. Heroes are puppets, but there are no strings on a villain.

@@hybridcollegekid Wrong. Maniacs, murderers, criminals are villains, regardless of your “story”. The most basic human instinct is self-preservation. But what is less known is that species (and individual groups within species, such as tribes or nations) also have their own collective instincts for self-preservation. And everything we do is judged according to this basic survival instinct. “Good” and “evil” essentially mean “beneficial to the survival of the species/society” and “destructive to the survival of the species/society.” These terms do not exist outside of society, but WITHIN society their meaning is clear and not subjective. This is the KEY POINT. “Good” and “bad” are NOT related to the interests of specific people and therefore cannot be assessed from a personal point of view. Raising children is good. This contributes to the survival of society. Killing people is bad. This is destructive to the survival of society. So, people who are destructive to society are villains, and trying to justify them is a really bad thing to do.
@hybridcollegekid
@hybridcollegekid 7 месяцев назад
@@blacktigershearthstoneadve6905 morality and ethics aren't solely defined by societal preservation or collective survival instincts. While societal well-being is undoubtedly important, the complexity of human morality often involves considerations beyond immediate societal preservation. Some actions might not neatly fit into categories of "good" or "bad" concerning societal preservation. For instance, scenarios where sacrificing a few for the benefit of the majority could challenge the clear-cut distinction between what's considered morally right or wrong. There is gray areas in the subject matter in short if society cannot benefit from the individual their self worth is in vain? We kill animals to survive, so is the act of killing itself bad? I like your points though

In their pure representation, Villains represent the worst of humanity, all pessimistic and misanthropic ideologies and visions of humanity and the world that none of us should think, and therefore we should side with the heroes who give values and teachings to be better, you can understand the motivation why a villain acts, but one should not share it or consider it the absolute truth and say that he is not doing anything wrong, it means not understanding the point of the story, the villain is wrong because he has a goal, it's a radical and extreme ideology and in fact he's wrong, but on the surface it seems right if you don't analyze it thoroughly,which is what has been happening in recent years, you think that the villain is right, but in reality he is not there if analyzed in depth without the influence of the empathy you have for that character, because they have: 1) A radical and evil vision of humanity demonizing it a cancer or a virus for the planet to necessarily eradicate (ex. Zamasu from Dragon ball Super, Ultron from Avengers Age of Ultron, Thanos from Avengers Infinity War, Agent Smith from Matrix, Vecna from Stranger things Season 4, Ocean Master from Aquaman, Alan Jonah from Godzilla 2 King of the Monsters, Psykos from One punch Man, Master Asia from Gundam Z, Major Hirokawa from Parasyte the Maxim, Albert Wesker from Resident Evil 5, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7, Poison Ivy from Batman and Robin, Richmond Valentine from Kingsman, Unknown God from Genshin Impact, Apocalypse from X-Men Apocalypse, Aphrodite from Record of Ragnarok, Omni-man from Invincible, Megatron from Transformer Animated and Hades from Saint-Seiya Lost Canvas). 2) A negative judgement about human nature (ex. Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan, Madara Uchiha from Naruto Shippuden, Light Yagami from Death Note, Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Dante Zogratis from Black Clover, Asuramaru from Seraph of the End, Dracula from Castlevania Animated Series, Meruem from Hunter X Hunter, Joker from The dark Knight, Daniel Plainview from There Will be Blood, Ares from Wonder Woman 2017 movie, Shinobu Sensui from Yu Yu Hakusho, Demona from Gargoyles, Zeref Dragneel from Fairy Tail, Killmonger from Black Phanter, Magneto from X-men, Dr.Doom from Fantastic 4 (2015), Grindelwald from Fantastic Beast: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), Isaac Ray Peram Westcott from Date a Live, Master Xenahort from Kingdom Hearts 3, Phantom from MÄR Heaven, Gilgamesh from Fate Series, Malefica from Maleficent 1 and 2 and Darkseid from Superman/Batman Apocalypse.) 3) They come from stories where they want to show the worst of humanity representing them like the real monsters (ex. Demons from Devilman Crybaby, Diclonius from Elfen Lied, Deviants from Detroit Become Human, Mutants, Ghouls and Sintetics from Fallout, Ghouls from Tokyo Ghoul, Na'vi from Avatar, Witches from Kingom of Ruin and Machines from Animatrix Second Renaissance.)

I love villains, they have their on self to depend on not like the hero, who have a fucking army of people, even the battle is unfair, sometimes the hero will got help from people and friends, when the villains stays alone, isn't it unfair, and why is even the hero protecting the society, when the society are the one who are making villains.... And also Thiers no heroine if Thiers no villain, (^.^) Also there's a reason why there is a happy ending in a fantasy novel or anime(^.^), its because one of them is rich and the other is a beauty.... , Thiers no right and wrong in this world, its just the way you see it,🙂 #Villain💜💜💜

Its not that unusual to have the villain lead an organization while the hero has few useful allies, even if superman is theoretically on the same side as the cops they arent really able to do anything to help him. This seems to be an issue of story structure where the protaganist needs to regularly encounter something so they need more enemies than minimum allies
@anotherrandomguy8871
@anotherrandomguy8871 2 года назад
Usually the villain is the one that has an army that came from almost nowhere. The villain is the one that usually makes the battle unfair, but that’s usually what makes them cooler for the hero to try and beat. Plus I wouldn’t always blame society for terrible people, even if the villain has a sob story. Those same villains are no better anyways since they are usually mass murders or terrorist and harm innocents, and they are what make society worse. There is indeed right and wrong in the world…well I guess depending on context.
