Though Vision might not have been used to his full potential, he has gotten a LOT of screen time for being one of the lesser known avengers. He's actually become one of my favorite superheroes. I love Paul's take on Vision. He's such a kind, loving synthezoid.
I've been following & collecting The Vision since the 1970's as a kid that just watched a family member get killed in an accident. I found comfort and envy reading about the synthezoid that looked really cool and didnt experience emotions. The kind of emotions that come with losing a brother/playmate. Vision may or may not be one of the strongest Avengers but to me he will always be the most important.
Remember when he represented the Avengers on the corner pannel of the cover? As a kid this made me look at him as the leader and most important member of the Avengers, I just wish they would give him that same level of respect today.

IMHO his ability to feel emotions comes not from the mind stone but from the Chaos Magic that Wanda imbued into the Mind Stone when she touched the cradle. "He's dreaming". In Infinity War we see two lamps next to Wanda and Vision in the hotel room. A red one next to Wanda and a yellow next to Vision, implying there are two powers at work with Wanda and Vision, not one. When the mind stone was destroyed, Vision, having now become fully human, willed himself to be with Wanda, and the chaos magic returned itself to Wanda If the pocket dimension sitcom world in WandaVision stems from Wanda's subconscious, then Vision and Chthon are both resident there, it's also even possible Ultron may himself return as a chaos magic shard. Billy and Tommy are, like the comics, created from soul shards, but these come from Wanda and Vision's shards, which in turn are connected to Chthon's.

for the longest time, vision was the face of the avengers in the comics. they had him so powerful, it took thor to put him in his place! they started to really nerf him when wonderman came back to life! i really miss him and wanda being together in the comics. they really fked him over!
The reason why Vision (and Wanda) don't use Mind Control is because that ability is waaaay too op. Like, Wanda literally mind controlled an entire city, and Thor who is a God. They had to nerf her so that the movies wouldn't end in seconds.
While I dearly love Vision and Wanda's romance and chemistry, I find it to be absolutely unfair how the makers want Wanda to naturally seem more powerful, so they keep undervaluing Vision's abilities using the relationship. There have been problems in movies like Civil War, Infinity War, etc which Vision could have solved in a blink of an eye. But no, you've GOTTA love the Scarlet Witch, so why give Vision the same screen time as her and make him actually use his powers? I MEAN... Their powers are so different from each other and while Wanda can do a lot of crazy sh*t, Vision is definitely the STRONGER (FFS HE STOOD AGAINST THE PHOENIX FORCE UNHARMED)!
I don't think they undervalued visions powers I think vision was learning because he was literally just born not too long ago that being said is probably one of the fastest Learners there is because he has all the information all the time in addition to his scope of sight is unclouded by anyone else's issues.. I say that because vision said let's destroy the stone as soon as they were talking about it and Captain said we don't trade lives but they could have stopped it by killing one person theoretically killing him however they said it was possible to diffuse the Stone from his head if done properly.. in which originally it was Bruce banner that said and I'm really pissed off that that stupid chick from wakanda said that rude comment to Bruce and by saying I'm sure you did your best.. ha.. but anyway banner said vision might be something without the stone..
I know how he will be back, in the comics he can be repaired like if hes ripped apart, so maby at the end of the show itll show a scene if him being build back together, and in the final episode he will he back!
A posible answer to some curious fans on "Why Vision was so easily wiped on infinity war" is simple: Many NEW fans of this universe do not know that Vision was basically nerfed the entire movie because if that would not happened, Infinity War would have been just Vision and Thanos fighting each other (while the other heros and thanos's minions watch the full show eating popcorn) and eventually no Endgame filmed, lol. But hey, Disney's executives had the plan to dethrone James Cameron's Avatar, so the writers had to figure it out there... so there you go, endgame came out and proved that the writers had a gun pointing to their head basically all time
If you think about it if covus gave did not stab him he would be able to phase and also is he phased his arm through thanos head or heart and unphrased and kill him it has the same thing as how ant man could kill thanos
Vision could take anyone excepting reality warpers. Just alter density to zero, be untouchable, walk up to Hulk, Juggernaut, Xavier, put finger in brain heart an artery and solidify. All done

Vison was trying to take out Sam's flight booster...so he could still glide down to earth...im sure he knew what he was doing, but it hit the arc reactor on war machine, thats what totally disabled his suit....so yeah....
Ultron I believe is a creation from Thanos, a hidden trap just incase somebody decides to tamper with it. remember he had the mind stone for sometime before lending it to Loki. Isn't it possible that vision can revert to a disciple of Thanos and continue his work, before Thanos yank out the stone he gave vision a strange look....maybe he will be setup as a future villain in the MCU.
I think a cool new MCU illuminati could be: Nick Fury: head of shield, Falcon: new Captain America and head of the avengers, Doctor Strange: Sorcerer Supreme and leader of the sorcerers, Black Panther: King of Wakanda and Wakandan army, Namor (potentially): king of Atlantis, Valkyrie: Queen of Asgard, and finally professor X leader of the Xmen. Vision's death was not surprising, I mean with the stone in his head and thanos going to collect it and all. I made peace with this since age of Ultran but I think he should have went out in a blaze of glory not what we got. :'(
The Russo brothers themselves confirmed that they nerfed Vision in the beginning because there really wouldn't have been a movie if he wasn't severely injured. Vision is an extremely powerful character and A:IW would have played out differently with a Vision fully utilizing his incredible abilities. And also a Wanda Maximoff who would have been able to focus on the fight rather than Vision's condition and safety. I'm hoping that WandaVision will elevate both of their status in the MCU going forward. Thank you for this much needed video.
Truth: MCU wants to make Wanda big because Elizabeth Olsen is now popular. Even though Scarlet Witch is a VERY powerful being, someone needs to tell the producers that they can make her look cool while NOT downgrading Vision as well. You don't need to drag someone down to promote someone else. Why couldn't they just show both of their powers genuinely?
Let's cross our fingers they don't screw over adam warlock like they did vision. He's another hero who weilds an infinity stone (soul stone) and he's just as strong as vision if not stronger.
When Thanos was about to rip the mind stone out Visions head why didn't he do something like phase himself so thanos couldn't hold on to him or fire a beam from the mind stone right in thanos` face!

uhh i think vision can hold thor hammer because he is a robot not a livening thing not natural the enchantment only applies to livening natural things i pretty sure
