Sanjeev Kumar was legend actor. In each and every film he proved that no one can beat him in terms of acting and dialogue delivery. Unfortunately he died in young age. He will be remembered for his film such as Aandhi, Mausam, Sholay, Angoor, Trishul and many more.

Sanjeev kumar's brother died and he had the responsibility of looking after brother's family ie wife n children..meanwhile he too became a heart patient,hema malini visited him in the hospital...inspite of by pass surgery he did not survive; his brother and father too passed away before thw age of 50,like him, it is believed. these were some of the reasons why he did not marry later on

I too read in the media in the 70s that Sanjeev Kumar's mother liked Hema very much because of her traditional background. But Hema's mother on the other hand, was very ambitious for her daughter and wanted Hema to excel in her film career,so she wasn't in favour of her daughter marrying and quitting films. The fact that Sanjeev and Hema stopped talking to each other proves that they did have some personal issues with each other.

Due to certain circumstances after marriage she was to stop working in film industry. Hama and her mother didn’t agree to it. And their bond broke. Sanjeev Kumar heartbroken, and he remain single and die single. Every sad. I like Aandhi and Angoor. Hama Malini married a married man and became his second wife. नूतन जी ने शादी शुदा होते हूवे भी संजीव कुमार के साथ संबंध बनाये थे ये बात अजीब लागती है. और अगर ये सच है तो वे गलत थी और बदमे अपना संसार बचाने के लिए किसी को थप्पड़ मारकर दुखाना गलत है। वो संजीव कुमार से दूरी बना सकती थी। किसी को प्यार में दुखाने का अंजाम दुखद होता है इसी तरह संजीव कुमार को शादी शुदा औरत के साथ संबंध नही रखने चाहिए थे।

There is another version of the episode .. sanjeev kumar was a struggling actor .. nutan was a star .. she was treating him in a friendly manner . Another star actress told nutan that kumar was feeding their affair story to the magzines which was screwing up her marriage as nutan s husband was suspicious by nature. Nutan was mad and slapped sanjeev when she saw him on the set. Nutan called sanjeev a worm and she despise worms.., he was doing to achieve stardom as he felt actors inferior to him were leading men. Like dharmendra was fit to be a pehlwan and not an actor. If nutan slapped under her husbands pressure … she wouldnt refer kumar as a worm a decade after the slapping incident .. no comments would make more sense

Why just Sanjeev Kumar - Rajesh Khanna, Gulzar, Amitabh, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor all made their highly succesful wives give up their career upon marriage. As far as Hema is concerned, 30 years later she had difficulty convincing Dharmendra to allow their daughter to work in movies. He could not impose any conditions on Hema since he was not giving up anything for her. He was not even divorcing his wife and asking him to be second wife. Hema said no to Sanjeev for same reason that she baxkex out at last minute from marrying Jeetendra: she was deeply in love witb Dharmendra
