The game was banned as in the beta version of it, it had a joke relating to an infamous Chinese government official's appearance, comparing him to Winnie the Pooh. The joke was taken out very early on(wasn't even in the final product) but was forced to be taken down by said government official anyway.

this game is just absolutely amazing. It’s so disappointing that it was barely given a chance by producers, the story of this game is so much more realistic than some people realize. Obviously- there is some dramatization, but such is with a horror game. It still teaches you a very strong theme about how desperation and people’s greed can destroy someone in a matter of days. I think it gives you an important message, and the developers put hard and passionate work into everything.

The plot is that you check into a hotel and Jimmy, the Schizophrenic hotel owner traces you down and tries to kill you. Fucking storybook at the end made me tear up 😀 So here's what I take from the story so far: mom was star who left the limelight for family, husband became sole money maker thru script writing (probably how they met) but his work was criticised n his income probably declined made him desperate for good work or shud I say his previous good days n became an workaholic which led to him being negligent towards his family? Which probably lead to his daughters health to decline as well both mentally n with whatever she has, wife was also troubled it seems as she called her mom talking about going back with her, and that one script where the 'father' has a 'son' instead of a daughter leads me to believe he wanted a son and the call from that mentor chick leads me to believe he was unfaithful hence why wife was unhappy cus she was catching on? I'm not so sure about that one tho.
