Hi, Shaan. I wanted to thank you for all your videos and ebook because in only 1 month applying everything you explain in your videos and ebook, I am doing much better than the last 20 years. I'm doing things I haven't been able to do in over 20 years and every day I surprise myself by doing things I never thought I'd be able to do again. Understanding why I have all these symptoms has enabled me to accept them. Now, thanks to you, I know that I'm not risking anything with all these symptoms and that all I have to do is let them exist, let them run through my body without trying to make them go away. I'm really grateful to have had the chance to come across your channel, because thanks to you I've really had a breakthrough. I really feel, for the 1st time in my life, that I'm on the road to recovery. You're doing all this to help people, so I wanted you to know that you're helping me a lot. I know that if I heal from anxiety, and I really believe I will, I'll be a much stronger person mentally. Having all these horrible symptoms and reacting correctly by letting them be there, by living as if they weren't there, without panicking, is something very difficult but when you do it, you feel stronger and stronger and you have the impression that this way of reacting will help you enormously for the rest of your life. As you explain in a video, it's a chance we have, an advantage that others don't have. In short, I'd like to thank you for everything. I know there's still a long way to go, but all I'm thinking about is long-term results. Right now I'm very dizzy because my neck is very tense but I'm not panicking even though it's difficult. I just tell myself that it's a symptom of anxiety and that it will go away with everything else when my nervous system is desensitized. Good day to you and for those who will read this comment, believe in yourself , if you really apply everything Shaan says in his videos and ebook, you will see that it works . If I can do it, even though I've been having panic attacks for over 20 years and haven't had any for 3 weeks, even though I discovered Shaan's channel just over 1 month ago, you can all do it. Don't forget, you're not at risk of anything, your body just wants to protect you because it thinks you're in danger (when you're not). So if it wants to protect you from danger, it won't do anything to put you in danger. All these symptoms are harmless. Good luck to all, healing is within us. (Sorry for my english im french)

Is rumination a part of OCD, what do you think? Because then, we'll need to get to the root, not only the branch (rumination in this case )
@deyaniracendejas2562
@deyaniracendejas2562 26 дней назад
It is a main compulsion of ocd
@mitchieee143
@mitchieee143 21 день назад
In ocd you engage in rumination as a compulsion. The trigger occurs and in order to prevent uncomfortable feelings that bubble you engage in that obsessive thinking time and time again. You strengthen that muscle in your brain. Rumination presents itself as helpful and as a method to solve or fix. It gives the illusion of action. Nothing ever gets solved though. 😂 I’ve been there. Part of recovery is learning to step away from that “automatic” thinking spiral and choosing to take the risk of not figuring it all out and engaging in life or your values. 🦦
