I like your nail varnish Lucy , in fact I’ve painted mine blue . Yes , selling your condo , a one bed condo is not a good idea with one kid , plus you are at the top floor , that could be suited for one person with a busy lifestyle and not staying there most of the time and day. Koda is growing fast and sooner or later he needs more space to run.
I'd say Onto Bigger and Better Things for The Juicy Vlogs!! We love watching you all and love even more the travel vlogs you are doing!! I left the PI when I was six years old with my family to go to the US and have only been back once, so I never really got to see nor got to travel much in my home country. It's really a great way to see the Philippines through your adventurous travels!! So, thank you @TheJuicyVlogs !!! 👏🥰💝🤗😍
Hi Lucy, I reckon it's a more thing like "knock on wood" same as touch wood is it's international belief of intervening the bad event to occur and the toast you did for breakfast is not that bad at all. 🙂 Good luck in your new condo search!
"Touch Wood" is definitely a Filipino thing too... We usually "knock" on wood rather than just touch it to hopefully not jinx what we just said which is so so not good. 😉😅
It's a good decision to get a bigger condo in a different location. If it's pre-owned, I suggest you learn a little history of the place (good vibes). Love Koda with his floatie!
And also you will know if you have packed your things completly and neatly. By the way, yeah Koda seems getting big everyday and he will soon needs his own study if he goes to school here (British School is near Uptown Mall)
I love lessening the sound of wow from kuda’s wow--- I also love your new nail polish I did not know that there is such thing changing color of nail polish. Thank you. I will get mine done like yours.
Good luck and may you find the perfect place for your very beautiful family. =) Coda is so cute. I hope I can see him in person. Why not meet and greet =)
Hope u find what u r searching for your next residence. I noticed that both of u r expert entertainers too as vloggers. A million subscribers will not surprise me.
You may need to get what we call a batya or palanggana to bath Koda. You fill it with water and you can put Koda to sit there while having a bath. Its like a flat bucket that comes in different sizes😊
Interesting you brought that up, Lucy. While you do it the English way (low-key), we, not very loudly but expressly, knock on wood ü It must be the European (Spanish) influence. OTOH, on a night out with friends who brought an Indonesian friend, they said they have the same belief (or superstition) in Indonesia, so I guess it must be pretty universal as George surmised ü
Hello, Lucy, Koda, and George! Always love your vids. Filipinos KNOCK on wood to try and counter "bad luck". I am not sure if its origin, but it sounds like we got it from the Americans... Maybe I should research on it. Keep up the good work -you guys definitely are an inspiration for us to not just travel, but live life to its fullest. Love your nails, Lucy!❤
That's what i told before, in my last comment while they are still in UK... They are coming back to the Philippines only to sell their Condo in Manila and then back again in UK. And i don't think they will buy another New Condo here in Manila with bed spaces for Koda because they have owned large Condo house in UK. So no need a New Condo in Manila. That's what i think. And i think i'm right in my opinion.
when selling your 1 bedroom condo, are you getting a 2 room condo in the same place then? the selling was explained but acquiring a new one wasn’t. i still remember the local Filipino liquor you guys drank during the pandemic lockdown in the balcony 😊
Hmmm, George said that eventually they will be on a hunt for a bigger place coz they still want to have their own place (in Phils) and they're considering moving back to the BGC area, maybe later this year.
Hello, we will be going to the Philippines this summer with my kids 7 and 2. Just wondering what sunscreen and mosquito repellent do you recommend that are safe for kids and babies? Thank you always for sharing. Love your videos and God bless! ~ Kristi Y
I was about to suggest 2 ways it's either you go back to your native land just in case both of you cannot handle the heatwave here (yes, we can feel the hot weather too hit us filipinos hard)...or contact a registered Filipino architect feel free to ask the Municipal hall of Manila and both of you could build a tiny real estate house 250 sq. to 400 sq. here in the Philippines.
Hi Lucy and George and Koda! May you find the best condo that suits your family. Of course anything you put on or wear looks good on you Lucy because you are beautiful inside out❤. George don't get tired of vlogging but anyway i know it's not serious😄. Just my opinion but i've been thibking why not you collab with Mergrim since he's also from UK and is still here in the PHL. Also Harry Jaggard is from UK and im waiting for his return here. Just like what George said, yes indeed life is fun so i wish you all the success, good health, peace of mind and happiness. Be safe always guys and God bless
Knock on wood , it’s just a kind of Filipino saying , when you don’t want something bad happens , or if you want to wish something to happens in a good way too , either way it’s both works left and right 😂
I'm sure that Koda likes the independence with the float toy. Not surprised that you have outgrown that condo already. Hopefully, the next place in the Philippines will have room for visiting family. Lucy, the shorter hair makes you look younger for some reason. In America, the saying is "Knock on wood." God bless!
I only encountered the "Touch Wood" thing outside of the Philippines. Actually, I encountered that in Australia where I lived for 21 years. I don't think "touch wood" is a Filipino saying. I'm not even sure if we have even anything close to it if my memory serves me right. Good luck with the sale of the condo by the way, I'm sure there will be foreigners and maybe even locals who might be interested in purchasing it. There will be a new area similar to BGC in Bulacan being developed now. I think it's called Northwin Global City. Maybe something to look at some point.
Knock on wood is common also here in the U.S especially if you work in the hospital. We had a lot of no no no in the hospital like saying very quite today
Filipinos don't have an equivalent for "knock on wood" (to avoid jinxing something you just said or having a bad thing happen that you just said). Its more of "fingers crossed" to hope things go well.
I like when Lucy touches her forehead when she says touch wood because she's signifying that she's a scarecrow in a self deprecating way. But it probably goes way over the head of most Filipinos when she does that.
Love to hear from you, yet the nail varnish is toxic. A simple, but good natural manicure will help you better also with a cute child like Koda. Difficult to find though in nail salons.
Condo is very expensive I think for way for living,, if you don't have much savings . .you gonna shortless for money ,,If you don't like they expensive way, they have a lot of cheaper than condo ,like apartments . . Or you can rent for the rental house's. . So you don't have to worry about if you know they techniques living specifically in the Philippines living. ..😊❤😊❤😊❤
