I have personally owned & or lived with 7 different breeds of dogs. I currently own a Female Boerboel & a Male Shiba Inu. I can say without a doubt the Boerboel is by far the most impressive breed of dog I have ever known. Highly intelligent, fast and agile, strong as all hell & phemenomenal loyal guard instincts make her an amazing specimen. Wishing you all the best & many years of good health to such a beautiful dog. Enjoy!
@@HYIPCODES the Boerboel tolerates his antics and never ending teasing? Shiba Inu males are relentless when they want their way? The contrasting personalities are quite entertaining and Harold (The Shiba) has been with Whitty since he was 15 weeks old. So she is Big sister to him.
We have a 3 year old male Borbel and just picked out our 2nd pup last wkend (an all black female). I can't wait to bring her home!! I've always loved Mastiffs but the Borbel is exactly the kind of dog I want defending my home, family and property. Plus I often camp/hike alone. These dogs make me feel very safe from 2/4 legged threats. Amazing animals!
Love from Canada from Canadian Americans originating from Pakistan! Came to this channel by chance. What a beautiful video - informative and easy to watch. The host gave latitude to the two guests (breeders) to talk without interfering. The breeders are very knowledgeable and well spoken. The best dog channel we have seen.
We have a male boerboel - Chimo - in Kenya and he is GREAT. He is in love with my 21 year old daughter and a great family friend. He's become part of the family and even sleeps with us in our beds. He's very gentle and sweet with little children (all the neighborhood kids love him and he loves them) and is also a very loyal and loving protector. Plus I don't have to fear anything when my daughter is walking a 65kg boerboel!
Greetings from Houston,Texas. I've had multiple dogs since I was a child and I have only owned muts which have been great. Boerboels, Cane Corso, Presa Canario, or pretty much any of dog breeds in the mastiff family are in the running for me to own 1 or 2 of them within the next few years. I really enjoyed this info and will carry some serious weight in the decision I make.
Hi Jerry Benard, Thank you soo much for watching and your feedback. Its good and encouraging to know that you are really considering this beautiful mastiffs which are great.Continue enjoying th episodes we really appreciate. You can share them with other dog lovers.Thank you once more.
Absolutely wonderful breeders, this was the very best educational video I have ever seen on Boerboel’s. Hello from Pennsylvania. I have owned and loved mastiffs for over 40 years and these fellows are very good. A+. You get the feeling of trust. If your not a first time owner and want a top of the line Boerboel this just might be the people where to get a Boerboel from.
Much respect to these men for the way they dedicated themselves to their craft and it shows through their understanding of the breed. They seem passionate about what they're doing and it's more than about money for them
Thank you for giving a platform to credible outstanding breeders like the gentlemen you showcased in this video. I am currently a pitbull owner and am as passionate about that breed as they are about boerboels. I have been researching these dogs for a while now planning for my next purchase of a companion. Thank you for your valuable information. You have reinforced my decision to go with the boerboel breed! Much respect many blessings and keep up the good work!
I had to put my best friend Simon down today. 3.5 year old 170lb male boerboel. The most loyal friend I have ever had. So well trained and well behaved people always stopped and commented. Loved him so much! About 4 months ago he attacked a smaller dog who growled at him. Since that time he became super dominant would no longer accept anyone but me. Started to attack my wife and even threaten my adult children. Always so loving with me. I have a big hole in my heart, I loved that dog because he loved me so much.
Thank you Linda for your enriching interview questions and question skills which make it possible to have such educative and impressive conversation with these amazing and excellent breeders. Also, you are beautiful and natural which makes you likable. Thank you for what you are doing. Keep at it with consistent might and you'll be amazed how much royal days await you! Thank you!🙏👍👍
Hi there am a big fan...dog lover....love you content 💯💯so educative. A quick question whats the best quality pallets for a big dog and where can I get it...
Hi.Thank you for watching and feedback. I would kindly request you to contact the breeders at our episodes as they will be in a better position to advise you on different varieties inthe market.Contacts are always at the end of the episode.
They said the rottweiler's drive is a bit too high for a family with children. It's true in some cases, rottweilers are too restless and can easily knock down a child accidentally while playing.
These dogs are to heavy & slow, they’re very powerful but a bit lazy, Rottweilers are the pinnacle for personal protection, boerbels have they’re uses but are not agile enough or have the same level of energy or ferocity.
Not all boerboels are lazy. For example mine are very agile and fast in movement. They are also territorial and prime guard dogs. Rotts though I feel are better guard dogs, but don’t fair well in a family setting especially if you have more than 2 in one holding.
@@amaninamelok928 when reared with children Rottweilers totally fine with children, boerbels are agile for they’re size, but they’re not as alert or energetic as Rottweilers, they prefer to relax, they’re very heavy dogs after all, my friend has a 3yr old Male weighing 90kg+, compared to my German Shepherd it is very inactive & tires very easy.
I love boerboel I live in Holland and in a house not a very big garden but I take my boerboel every day for big walks I know preferably it would be better for her to have a big garden but she is sweet and stubborn as she should be I have no problems regarding to her temperament she lives in my house and sleeps on the sofa and I never want an other breed again
I owned akitas for 30 years my last died the day I moved to Virginia I bought my first boerboel she was a dream she died on her 7th birthday of massive heart failure I waited and 8mth ago I got another boerboel puppy it’s been a nightmare the breeder sold me a long haired ( it’s a genetic trait) I’m a retired veteran ( disabled) and for me I paid a lot of money In the process of getting shots ( 3 1/2 months )I found out she will never have a full life the vet said she has genetic kidney disease and the bigger and stronger she gets it will kill her I haven’t spoken to the breeder what would a good breeder do?? Thank you
Why is this specific breed tail docked, I havnt seen that question raised anywhere. Why do breeders automatically dock them young despite some to be owners would prefer their dog with a tail.
there are some, expect to pay a LOT in the US (more than $2,500). Also plan on at least $150/month for food. Otherwise, they are amazing dogs and so great with your kids and family.
I think people exaggerate sometimes when they say, oh this dog man eater, oh that dog is a maneater. This dog here, is a true man eater. It will fight a lion to be able to eat you as food.
