it‘s funny how festivals are sooo different in different countries! at german festivals, noone would ever bring a giant suitcase or plan their outfits, everyone is dirty and living the simple life lol
To be honest like don’t get me wrong I love Aussie festivals but i find that most of the time people there put more thought into what they look like and getting photos of themselves then just being fully present, I know I best enjoy going to a festival in comfy clothes and no make up cause there’s nothing worse than being uncomfortable at a festival!
only people like cartia use festivals as a fashion show lol there's people who go for the trend an then there's others who just go in their old rags and tees and enjoy themselves properly... Like I guess Cartia has to do it because she's in the public eye, but it is just a big fashion show to these girls... it's not actually about the music for them. Like the last festival i went to was in the dead of winter and half the girls dressed up like cartia left as soon as the sun went down because they were ridiculously dressed and got cold hahaha its insane. But believe me, there are plenty of people who don't treat it that way :)
clara i like to dress up in things way out of my comfort zone for the sole purpose that it’s okay to do so and no one will judge! It’s like a freedom of expression , like an art i guess

It’s always been a dream of mine to go to a music festival with all my best friends. I imagine it being so freeing and increasing the bond with your friends and just forgetting about all your problems and enjoying the moment.

I’ll be doing all these adventurous things and sharing these beautiful moments. Thank you for reminding me about my passion for life. Thank you for helping me remember all the promises I made myself. Hell yes the Splendour chat at the start! My first Splendour was 2015, I was 18 and it was my first festival. I went with my cousin but I felt so free and confident that I went and wandered off by myself at times which I would have never done. It was a time where I was starting uni and living with my sister and having to learn to cook and clean and do everything for myself and it somehow taught me how to be confident and independent and I’ve been using that confidence and indepence for the last 3 years. Gotta love the magic of Splendour ✨ also loving the Pond music so fkn keen to see them at Laneway, still not over seeing them at Splendour
