We have the exact version of that truck in 2500Hd flavor. The 6.6 gasser is incredibly powrful with the Allison. The 2500 has same towing capability, but payload is only slightly less as 3458. We are also switching to the Delta 292Rl. Oh, we did add an ARE topper to protect our bikes to the truck. Congrats.

Thank you for watching our videos and supporting your channel. Congratulations on your 292RL. We may later get a camper shell, but for now we’re trying out the tonneau cover. We are loving our new gas truck & we are grateful that it is a WT so it has a payload capacity so we can carry more in the bed of the truck to keep the weight out of the trailer.

Great choice. Nice spec setup. Just what you really need without too many frills. Look into the “duha” under seat storage. I have it on my 1/2 ton and it’s got a ton of space.

1 ton gasser is actually a bit overkill for your trailer but you won't regret having all that payload capacity. That's what I was thinking for our next truck but I wanna put the Harley in the bed. I have an 8800lb GVWR TT and a 3/4 ton RAM (similar spec as yours) and it does great pulling it around.

Our truck is a little bit overkill for our trailer, but it does future proof us if we wanted to go with something a little bigger next time, but who knows. So far, we are saving money on fuel versus diesel and excited about the next oil change as we know that will be way cheaper than the oil changes we’ve done on our diesel dually. We are using the back of our bed for storage, so we did want a truck with a good payload. We know we could’ve went smaller, but since we have a small bay and we want to keep the weight out of the Travel Trailer for certain items. Have a wonderful day.

It's beautiful 😍 love the rear bumper deck setup. I sold my truck, trailer is going, motorhome here we come. I had the 2017 Tundra crew Max with Allison and tow package, I miss her. But weekend warriors just makes more sense for our needs ❤

Thank you for watching our video, so far we are loving our new truck and travel trailer. Our truck is a Work Truck but with a nicer trim level, one ton gas, crew cab with a regular bed and our TT is only 10K, it tows very nicely, but we’ll record over some time our tow & give feedback in a shorter video. We do have the downhill decent on our truck, we had this feature in a previous vehicle we used to tow with, it’s a great feature. We will miss having AC seats 😂 but we’ll manage.

GM. Good choice. Only cause I stamp them body parts. I bought the HD 2500 gas, also the Alaskan edition. But I did have the big bear decal removed before I drove off the lot. lol. No pun intended. 🤣

The decals are pretty big, but that what attracted me to this truck in the first place (Martha) but being Alaskan it made me feel a little more at home. We’ve have GM trucks for years & love them, thank you for making them great trucks, safe travels.

Love ya, love the entire setup; but for me I would had gone Diesel lol When traveling you have the advantage of pulling up into a diesel fill station that gives you room for your rig. Now you’ll need to try to fit into a regular gas fill up @ 30+ feet TT plus long bed truck OUCH … And diesel is not that pricey today with a fuel card you have additional savings. I also love Turbo when towing. Not sure why they don’t make a Turbo Gas in a 3/4 or one ton trucks? Reason I enjoy my gas turbo half-ton. Regardless love your new truck and TT many blessings 🌅

Thank you for watching our videos and supporting our channel. So far, we are loving our one ton gas single rear wheel with 6.6 L with the Allison transmission truck with a standard bed crew cab. We haven’t had any issues at the gas pumps and we’ve gone from Indiana down to Texas. We can still stop at Love’s as their gas stations are way bigger. And the cost of fuel has been substantially cheaper for gas. Our truck is a work truck so it has a higher payload and it being 1 ton with future proof that we can tow our small Travel Trailer very easily. Our truck was about $25,000 cheaper than a diesel with the same towing capabilities.

Nice truck!! I would live to know what hitch you all have opted for and what your experience has been with it so far. I decided to switch from 5th wheel to Travel Trailer but I'm so overwhelmed by the hitches lol 5th wheel seems so much easier! Congratulations on your new setup!
