Hey! Hello from Italy! In reality the italian dumplings filled with spinach are not called "gnocchi" but "ravioli". "Gnocchi" do not have any filling inside them. 😁
In Ukraine, dumplings are called "varenyky". The filling can be different. You can stuff them with cheese, potato, cabbage, cherries, currants, meat, etc. We usually eat them with sour cream on the side. Personally, for me dumplings with cheese are yum-yum!

Hello. I am from Vietnam. Vietnamese love eating dumplings. We call it Banh Bot Loc. It's stuffed with shrimp and belly pork. We usually dip it into the special sauce It called fish sauce. In my opinon, it is the dumpling l like the most in the world.
Romania has also kept the tradition of dumplings. We call our dumplings *papanași* , the word's etymology is uncertain. Here, we usually fill them with sweet cheese, fry them, and add some sugar on top before serving. We can also use vanilla cream as a filling instead of *sweet cheese* and serve them with either ice cream or jam on the side. I absolutely love them and It's such a treat, especially for children too.
We call sweet dumplings "vareniki" while dumplings are "pelmeni". We use the same dough for both but filling is different. Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian kitchen.

I am from CHINA .We usually wrap shiitake mushrooms, celery, beef, and seasonings in dumplings, dip them in vinegar, and they are particularly fragrant❤❤
In Turkey we love eating Dumplings also. They are called Mantı. You can find it also in Germany in some Restaurants. The main Ingredients are ground beef and dough. We make it smaller in compare with the most other Dumplings so, one can eat five or six dumplings by every spoon. And they usually serve it with yoghurt and a special sauce. I definitely reccomend Mantı😂🎉

I think vegetable, kimchi and Galbi (Korean rib) mandu (dumpoing) is popular in Korea. My favorite mandu is kimchi. Kimchi mandu can a little spicy but taste is good. I recommend Bibigo mandu if they are sold in UK mart.

It's very fantastic food to eat sorry for being on diet because i long for those moments when I used to be enjoy dumplings also loving to eat all sorts of dumpling stuff however it's been longer to have a fancy dinner 🍽️😅😅😢😢😢😊!
We don't have dumplings in my country.We have another kind of food such as tamales, humitas, that are made of corn and other ingredients.In fact, these traditional dishes have corn as a main ingredient.
In India, it's called momos or known by many other names bcz its divers country that's why 😅. And it filled with lettuce 🥬 and chicken. we eat with chilli sauce with white sauce ( I don't remember the name ). Tibetan, Indian and South Asian they eat Momo(Tibetan dumplings). Pakistan doesn’t sell momo?? Maybe they sell momo in Pakistani cities near the India-Pakistan border.
To name ravioli as gnocchi is a peccato capitale! Gnocchi are made from flour and mashed potatoes and have no fillings. Ravioli are the ones that you described in this chapter. Pasta is no joke for italians!
